Monthly Rentals in Rocheville

I originally booked for two nights but decided to extend my stay by another two nights. Vincent was quick to reply to my request and the extra booking was made very promptly. The house was beautiful, very well equipped throughout and spacious but the garden was the 'star of the show' with views across the countryside. During my stay, Vincent had heard about a possible problem with power in the area. He emailed to check that we were fine and whether we had had a problem - which we had not. The Super-U supermarket and petrol station are conveniently located just a few minutes away and it was handy to have a generous off-road parking space (actually 2) just a few feet from the front door. There is just one word of caution - the stairs up to the first floor are quite steep and the top step is just a little narrower than the others. Not a problem as there is a handrail but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, thank you Vincent, for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

The welcome and the house are full of charm. Isabelle was pleasant, with a real sense of good manners. Everything was done to make us feel comfortable... we received cookies and a bottle of cider, which is rare! The house is true to what is advertised: it is clean, very pretty, and without a doubt, it was even better than in the photos. Even if there is no TV or that sort of thing, you don't get bored because it's in the heart of equally cute and picturesque places. The city center of Valognes is not so far away and there are still many small shops available: supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, greengrocers, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, a bookstore... and the Friday morning market, great too. Valognes is full of cute places that we were able to discover thanks to a set of small hiking maps of the area, kindly left by our hosts... Feel free to use them!

Thank you Marion for hosting us in this beautiful green place, flowered, and brightened by the dog, the cats, the chickens, it was a pleasure! However, I would like to point out that the temperature of the shower is fluctuating, sometimes hot and sometimes cold. In addition, the water that we drop out of the bathtub (there is no shower curtain) runs directly on the kitchen walls underneath, which is not very convenient...
