This is a quaint studio apartment that is very nicely decorated. Space was very clean and easy to navigate. Stairs are a little steep and the bathroom is on the smaller side as a warning. Kitchen is pristine and there was filtered water in the fridge that was very much appreciated! This is a great spot for one or two people to stay. Parking was relatively easy, just on a hill (so have your parking break ready!). Also loved the close access to the city without being directly in the middle of it. It was nice to come back to the quiet of the neighborhood at the end of the day and only be a five minute drive to a great coffee shop in the morning.

We loved our stay! The house is as described in the listing and was very comfortable with amazing decor. Super close to lots of great restaurants.

This is a lovely small space, that feels open and airy, with big windows for plenty of light. Sparkling clean and spotless, the bed was comfortable, the tub was fun, and I could easily relax into the big comfortable chair at the end of the day. It was always quiet, and the apartment remained cool and restful despite the extreme heat. The location is wonderful - easy access to major routes in any direction, and the neighborhood is a treasure to walk, the houses built with remarkable craftsmanship and original, historic detail. It was also great that I could get to the White Pine Bike Trail in 20 minutes. Kim and Paul are kind, thoughtful hosts. They were caring and helpful when I asked for local advice, and offered suggestions to make my stay more comfortable. They were wonderful!

What an adorable stay! I especially appreciated the decor in both bedrooms. Very well appointed (along with the exposed brick) and they thought of all the things to make it feel welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, lovely towels and linens, comfortable living room furniture to relax. It's in a perfect downtown location also. Walkable to all sorts of restaurants and coffee shops. Aaron was very communicative and helpful also! Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a wedding in Wayland & were close to both the venue & near plenty of great places in Grand Rapids. The space was clean, spacious, & the beds were comfy.

The birds nest was charming. The mid-century decor was so fun. Loved the retro record player and The Beach Boys album took me back. Well equipt kitchen, bath and laundry. I would suggest the steps be repaired and repainted since it is the first impression. A small eat in table and 2 chairs could be added along the back wall. The transition from kitchen to LR is high and the LR rug needs to be secured. Bedding was comfortable and washer and dryer very helpful. Would like to have been able to just put the dishes in dishwasher and start it vs having to wash and put everything away. Jordan was extremely responsive and the code door access was easy. I didn’t realize we needed to put the code in when we left to lock it but we figured it out after the first trip out. The cost was reasonable considering our stay was during Tulip Time

Loved being able to cook a few meals in the unit’s full kitchen! Also the location in a quiet pocket just a 5-minute walk from downtown was perfect.

Kristen's downtown bungalow in GR was a perfect set up for our family with 5 adults, 2 children and 2 pets. So wonderful that they allowed our furry family to join us! That can be hard to find! The location was only blocks from downtown and made for easy access to all the restaurants, bars and events we were attending. The bungalow, was so cute and very clean! It had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and out was an easy simple process and minimal to do's before we left. Kristen checked in with us often to make sure our stay was going well and if we needed anything. Our family had a wonderful weekend in GR and many thanks to our hosts for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful City.

Gorgeous apartment & pristinely clean. Everything was exactly as described and brand new. The unit was whisper quiet, and as I was there for a work trip that was much appreciated. Parking for this unit is street parking but I had no problem as the space was always available. All and all a completely stress free wonderful stay and I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing place to stay for the weekend. Lots of fun things to do in the surrounding area as well as in driving distance. Very central location right off the main road, but it was also quiet enough to get a good sleep. Very clear and helpful check in and out instructions. Super clean and lots of essentials like shower necessities, cleaning supplies, condiments, etc. it’s a great place for 2 people to stay. Overall it was a great experience and will always keep this place in mind if I ever come back to the area!

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It felt very private, intimate, cozy, and altogether lovely. Everything we needed was provided. The occasional sound of a car on the road outside did not bother us in the least. Very small town traffic. The bed was super comfy. The entire place was immaculate. This apartment is completely upstairs and you have to navigate the spiral staircase, which we found to be cute and interesting. The downstairs apartment appears to be vacant at this time. We ended up not using the hot tub although it was available for us. the outdoor location under the deck where the hot tub is located was pretty dusty/dirty... but then again you're in a little wooded area so that makes sense. We loved watching the deer in the evening. We enjoyed walking around the small downtown area out to the marina. And we absolutely LOVED eating at Peckadils, which is only about 4 houses down. Portion sizes were large; food was delicious; and the outdoor patio garden was PERFECT. ❤️

Incredible location for a cozy getaway. Easy check-in. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Woosah Outside Coffee which is just a short drive away! Would rent from here again based on location alone!

We had the best time as a family of 3! The location to downtown is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town - and had a short drive to the beaches surrounding us.

Really nice and clean apartment in a safe area. The inside is a little smaller than we thought from the photos but there's lots of outdoor space. Saugatuck is super adorable as well.

Michelle is a great host who cares about her guests. She takes her role as a host very seriously. Next time I am in Grand Rapids, I will be staying with Michelle.

We’ve stayed with John multiple times. We love the space and the grounds are gorgeous. The new pool is an amazing addition. John provides everything you could ever want… beach chairs, umbrella, firewood, coffee, bug spray, sunscreen… I love that John and Bryan are on the property but we still have the right amount of privacy as well as friendly hosts. And unlike many AirBnBs - you don’t have to take out your trash or strip your beds. I appreciate not having to do this.
