Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Rotherham District

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children on a visit to Holmfirth to see my best friend. Simon was so helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. He ensured everything was set up for us including an extra bed for the children, fresh bread on the side, and milk in the fridge. Also loved the fresh coffee available. Our kids loved running circles around the the flat and Simon even made a point to say to not worry about the kids running around as his children even loved doing that when they were young. So it was very nice to be in a family friendly place. Even the fresh tulips on the table made us smile. Thank you Simon for a lovely stay!

Lovely apartment and within walking distance to two local pubs, village was very peaceful and locals were very quiet. Perfect location for us with going to bakewell for an event. Apartment was cosy, comfy and everything we needed. Loved the large bath too! Lovely cafe below the apartment too which we enjoyed a great breakfast in before departing.

Jazzy was very quick a responding to messages. Always replied in a friendly manner. Her home is lovely and had helpful information inside. Great location. If we are ever in the area again, I'll be hopefully staying here if available.

What an adorable cottage right in the heart of Castleton! An excellent hiking trail right from the door - Mam Tor/Cavedale loop. The cottage was charming and had all the right amenities. The bakery across the street was fantastic! Cafe right next door for coffee/tea! The scenery was breathtaking and the drive up Winnats Pass was memorable! A definite A+ place! Marianne was responsive and very friendly!

What a beautiful place. Simon the host was always in touch before our stay to answer any questions we had and also throughout our stay making sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing and the setting absolutely beautiful. The accommodation provides everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The property is private and quiet yet transport links are on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was just perfect for us.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

We loved staying at Emma’s in Holmfirth! Location was a ten min walk away from bars restaurants/ pubs / general high street. There were plenty of walks to do which were a 5-10 drive away. The flag was really well equipped with all essentials you’d need. & as a bonus we met the dogs who lived in the house opposite who were very friendly and cute. Would definitely return! Lovely property and very friendly/ helpful hosts. Left a note for partners birthday which was a lovely touch, and the property was spotless… not even a streak on the mirrors! Very pleased with our stay and definitely worth the price

A lovely spacious property that was quiet, in a great location local to fisheries we used for the week and was easy to find. The house was well equipped, clean and each room was bright, well furnished and exactly what we hoped for. We are already trying to decide on dates for next year's fishing trip and hopefully this property will be available for the dates we choose.

The cottage was beautifully and tastefully decorated and equipped with modern kitchenware and thoughtful touches. Lucy was very flexible regarding our early arrival time and talked us through our concerns about the hilly nature of the walk down to the river. Our neighbours and everyone in the village was friendly with tea rooms and pubs and shops all within walking distance. The 10 minute drive to Bakewell and larger supermarkets was easy. Parking was not always easy but we usually found a space and if not, found the Car Park available about 5 mins walk away for a suggested contribution. June 21-28 was Well Dressing week - same time of year every year - and we wish we had been aware of this when we booked. We loved our trips to nearby Eyam, Edale, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Carole’s place was just like the photos. It’s close to local amenities and in a great location for exploring the Peak District. Carole was a really communicative host and I would 100% stay again- thank you!

We had a great time at Daniel's, a really fun base for a long weekend for some old school gamers. Lovely open plan kitchen diner with a small lounge to socialise in and a really comfy separate lounge too. Really comfy beds and some really character in the gaming rooms. Great host and if we do get the chance we'd definitely return. Hoyland does have some traditional shops, pubs and takeaways but If you're looking for a more bustly lively nearby town, you're probably better venturing closer to Sheffield but if you want to bed in for a couple of days with friends, this place is perfect!

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Beautiful location no problems everything you need loved our stay

Beautiful home with a scenic and quiet landscape. Seriously endless views from a majority of the rooms. Neighborhood was super nice. Each room was very comfortable and had a good amount of privacy with all the bathrooms. Sad we didn’t get to utilize the bbq as we had originally planned to. 100% would stay here again. Deck was awesome, kitchen was fancy and the layout was ideal for a large gathering if necessary. Only negative could potentially be parking but we were able to fit 2 vehicles without issue.

What a fab stay at John's place! John met us on our arrival and showed us around the flat and even put the kettle on. It was perfect for us with really comfortable beds and pretty spacious. It was in a lovely part of Sheffield and very quiet. Some great coffee shops and pubs nearby. John had the fridge and cupboards well stocked so we weren't short of anything. There was lovely fresh bread, milk, tea, coffee, eggs and juice and plenty more. John was an excellent host and we would love to visit again :)

Definitely recommend this apartment. David was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The flat itself was so clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. It was exactly as listed and very well situated. The view of the Townhall was lovely and staying there over the weekend when it was closed meant we weren't at all overlooked. 5 stars, 100% recommend booking this for any visits to Barnsley.

Shola is a great host who provides excellent instructions for check in, parking and around the flat to use the facilities. The apartment was very quiet and well located for getting around Sheffield by foot, public transport or by car. Both bedrooms had desks so great for my daughter to take online exams and study. We used the private car park cost £5 for 24 hours and it is well worth it for security.

Quite area. Right near supermarket and Costa. Beautiful walk around the local lake. Not far from peak District, within a 40 min drive. Nottingham half hour drive. Plenty of local pubs and fish and chips shop. Beautiful flat. Clean and tidy. Added bonus, washing machine. So took everything home clean. Lovely little garden with hanging space for washing. Plenty of cups plates etc. Just brilliant.

Beryl and her son are wonderful people ,they are super friendly .I loved the apartment it was sparkling clean and fresh smell ,bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you would need is provided .The garden is fabulous and very dog friendly. The area has lots of great walks ,the nature reserves are wonderful. felt very safe and relaxed and cannot wait to return . Thank you so much Beryl ☺️
