Cottage holiday rentals in Rowen

Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay. Easy to find, stunning views, relaxing and everything you could need. The N64 was great entertainment in the evening. Watching the birds in the morning is a great way to start the day, and a soak in the hot tub a great way to end it. Niamh, Dave and Osian are wonderful hosts, really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

From the moment we arrived, this Airbnb truly exceeded all expectations. The views are nothing short of stunning, the setting was pure magic. The house itself had absolutely everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully considered from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy, comfortable furnishings that made it feel like home instantly. Our host was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Quick to respond, full of great local tips, and genuinely welcoming (and it made all the difference). We absolutely loved our stay at Katherine 's beautiful house. I actually can't praise the holiday enough. The house was beautiful, very clean,well equipped and in the most beautiful surroundings. The layout was just perfect for our family, with the 2 bathrooms and the gorgeous dining room. The garden was so safe for our dog and grand daughter Such easy access to Ros on Sea, Abergele and Llandudno It made for a perfect holiday and we are already planning our return if Katherine will have us 😊

From the moment you arrive through the gate, you are surrounded by nature and relaxation. The cottage is lovely, well equipped and homely. Marianne left some delectable home bakes (cake and bread) as well as hen eggs and milk. Perfect to settle in. The area is secluded yet not far to drive to the main attractions. Although steep to drive up the hills, we found a less steep route in and out. We’d love to return as it’s so central to most of North Wales.

Great little cottage on the edge of snowdonia perfect for exploring the area. Beds were so comfy after a long day and the cottage had everything you needed! Looking forward to staying again soon

This is our third stay at the cottage and it never fails to delight us. It’s located in the perfect spot, a quiet area, but great access to various places on the island. There is a dog proof private field adjoining the property for our whippet to have a run around when she is in the mood. Also, the garden is dog proof too. Lovely views of the bay and some incredible sunsets. Pippa has put in bird feeders so if you are an avid bird watcher you won’t be disappointed. The cottage is well equipped, warm and cosy making you feel at home the minute you arrive. There is also a grassy area opposite the cottage where you can park your car if it’s too big to park in the drive. Although, make sure you don’t block the entrance to the field. Thank you Pippa for all the goodies you provided us when we arrived and for the great communication prior to our stay. We cannot wait to come back next year and explore further.

We had an amazing time at Pobty. The cottage is small & has everything you need. The views from the front of the house, across the sea, are fantastic 👍

The photos of Rock Cottage simply do not do it justice. The most beautiful property in a stunning part of the UK. Bradley & Mirabelle were fabulous hosts, always on hand to help with any queries we had and they left some fabulous recommendations for eateries etc. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning place! I booked it for the view, but the entire surrounds of the place are beautiful! Feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with just rolling hills. Was hard to find with the instructions given, but Emily was on the phone to give me a hand. The barn itself is gorgeous, the big window is amazing. I had the double doors open most of the time. I loved the solitude, and can't wait to come back 😊

Down in a secluded valley, where your neighbours include ancient trees, a babbling brook and a hooting owl, there is a barn. This barn has been designed with the utmost care and attention drawing on natural and reclaimed materials. Light floods the space during the day and provides a comfortable, warm refuge from which you can watch the brooding clouds as they threaten you from up above the surrounding hills. At night you are plunged into a deep, natural darkness. The location is perfect for those seeking some degree of solitude or to be immersed in nature. Only a short drive delivers you into the heart of Snowdonia but there are countless miles to explore on the doorstep for those wanting to evade the crowds. Anna is a perfect host. You could go your entire stay without seeing her but if you need her, she's there. Anna and Andy are kind and interesting people and clearly love the space that they have created. I'm only grateful that they are willing to share it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hafan. It’s a beautiful cottage, very well appointed, everything has been thought of. It’s a real home from home. We would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends (in fact we already have!)

A very quaint place well placed for enjoying days in the nearby mountains. Had everything you needed to be comfortable with a suitably equipped kitchen. A very approachable host who quickly answered any questions we had. Will be looking to return in the near future.

Absolute brilliant home to explore the North Wales coast and the Llyn Peninsula. We loved Cricceith as a base and the home was perfect for our week away: beautifully thought out, spotless and just really homely.....we did not want to leave and can't wait to book another stay! Things that stood out were: the shower was powerful and warm, the beds were comfy, the facilities were excellent and the garden area was private. We couldn't fault it!

Amazing views, fabulous weather, excellent dart board and table football to entertain. A Co-op and The Castle View pub nearby. Thoroughly deserving of all the positive reviews. Thank you Pete and Carol, one of the best Airbnb ‘s I’ve stayed at.

its was a great experience to stay with Jo. Thank you so much for a wonderful house . we loved everything, very clean house.bathroom and kitchen was absolutely amazing, very clean and moderate. location is top class as main bedroom window open to mountain and river side. shop and restaurant note more the 5 minutes even less. entry and exit was super easy. have 1 large bathroom and 1 toilet downstairs. plenty of parking is near by juat 1 minute drive from. the home and cost around £7 for 24 hours. if you can do check out time atleast 11am will be ideal as 10 is too early . we will definitely come back to stay here Thank you so much for everything

Phil was very helpful with providing information on local sites of interest, even going to the trouble of providing us with the tide times for visiting Llanddwyn Island and a closure of one of the roads on our way over. The Hayseed Cottage is stylish, kitted out with all the essentials and the bathroom had some lovely scented products. It was lovely and cool for when we had a heatwave during our stay. Would recommend!

Kay’s place is exceptional. Setting is beautiful amidst her superb garden; the cottage is peaceful, comfortable, clean and everything works. Breakfast goodies are very generous and Kay is a delightful host. Great to discuss gardens with her. Wonderful to sit sipping wine in one’s own private walled garden surrounded by a wealth of plants. This is certainly a wonderful property and it’s not surprising that all past reviews have been so enthusiastic.
