This was a wonderful stay at a beautiful place with a delightful host couple. I very much look forward to staying again next time I’m in town. A quintessentially English experience that I couldn’t recommend more highly!

If you are looking to experience Shere, Laurence's home is smack dab in the middle of it, giving you the best access to shops, restaurants and local sightseeing. Laurence was kind enough to let me store my luggage with him ahead of check-in (as I arrived in town quite early in the day) and maintained communication throughout my entire stay to ensure I had everything I needed. The apartment itself is cozy, clean and comes with all the home comforts you could want. I only hope to visit again for a longer stay! If you are traveling in using public transportation, there is a bus stop about a 5-minute walk from this home and Gomshall train station is a 25-minute walk (with a local bus that runs once an hour, I think). If you visit, please give yourself time to stroll on any of the numerous trails through the countryside. Shere is absolutely gorgeous!

Stephanie's place is as described. Nice and spacious and even though it was very sunny, the place didn't get too warm. It's a bit of a walk to the station and does take some time to get to central London, but the street is nice and very quiet (also at night). And the shower is great!

Great location & a good stay. I would stay again. I appreciated the vase of flowers, coffee pods & museli.

This was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Whenever we needed something, the host kindly responded right away and was truly wonderful. There’s a lovely walking path right in front of the house, surrounded by nature, which made our stay very relaxing. A baby bath and other items were also provided, so we felt very comfortable staying with our little one. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Gordon and Viv’s annexe in Datchet was the perfect place for us to relax after our long flight from Australia. Viv was extremely welcoming and responsive. Thank you for having us!

Lynda was a very friendly, communicative and welcoming host. She introduced herself and offered local recommendations which was appreciated. The studio was compact but open, with a lovely patio area that was enjoyed in the sunshine! Thank you 😊

My daughter stayed at Radhika’s place while attending a course in Orpington at the Bromley Tennis Centre. She found the studio well located, clean and tidy and well equipped, and Radhika friendly and helpful. She would stay there again.

My parents came to visit and stayed at Jane's place for a month. It had everything they needed and if there was something else that came up over the weeks Jane was on it right away. She was EXTREMELY responsive and generous. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Thank you to Jane and her husband for everything! When they come back to visit I will surely be booking your place again.

It was lovely to be welcomed by both Elizabeth and her very friendly labradoodle. The area is very quiet and the accommodation overlooks Elizabeth's beautiful garden. The kitchen is delightful,(we loved the cat and dog mugs) , and it is very well equipped. The bathroom was sparkling and the bedroom spacious and comfortable . We definitely hope to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at the Bakery. The property was cosy and had everything we needed for the weekend. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and easily contactable. We decided to have breakfast in the courtyard and ended up seeing 2 deer run through the garden! The location is perfect with a beautiful village green and a lovely pub less than a minute walk away! Nicholas ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfreicher Gastgeber. Er hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet und immer geholfen. Die Unterkunft selbst entspricht genau den Angaben. Es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Der Zustand des Apartments war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und 10 min zu Fuß von Raynespark Station entfernt, wo man Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet. Eine Kleiderschrank wäre für die Unterkunft noch sehr hilfreich, ansonsten lebt man aus dem Koffer, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ungünstig ist.

Ask her anything—she’s full of great tips! The flat is spacious, spotless, and stylish, with a fresh scent and designer touches. Skylight in the kitchen, fully equipped with all appliances, comfy bathroom, iron, vacuum, and more. Despite the hot weather, opening both windows kept it cool. The neighborhood is peaceful, green, and perfect for morning walks. Shops nearby, and easy transport to central London via bus and Elizabeth Line. Would definitely stay again. A really great deal - Ratna's place was very private and had a real comfortable and cosy feel which was very homelike and inviting. It has everything you need for a long or short stay. Super easy to get to the train station as well as the shops etc. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Ratna x

Une petite perle ! Charmant logement, très british, très bien équipé, avec une literie super comfortable. L'environnement est très paisible, idéale pour se reposer. Nous voulions visiter les chateaux et manoirs du sud ouest de Londres et l'annex était merveilleusement bien située. De plus l'accueil de Gill est amical et ses conseils top. Je recommende vivement cette location.

I enjoyed my stay at Rangi's annex. The accommodation was perfect for me - private - but I liked the idea of being attached to the main house, in case I needed anything . The kitchen was very well appointed. Thank you, Rangi, for your kindness and making me feel so welcome.

Lorna was an excellent host. Due to personal circumstances I enquired if I could drop some things off late morning, hours before check in, and Lorna kindly let me do it. She also left some breakfast items and a great array of teas. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and even a small desk for anyone needing to work from there.

We had a lovely stay at Gillian's place. Gillian was very welcoming and the location was perfect for the wedding we were attending at the Royal Berkshire hotel. Highly recommend, very convenient close to London.

A magical little pathway leads you to this sunken hideaway—a serene retreat that offers nothing but peace and tranquility. The shower is fantastic, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and every detail feels thoughtfully arranged for relaxation. Mornings are especially enchanting: enjoy your coffee or breakfast outside, surrounded by birdsong and the occasional visit from friendly alley cats or even a curious fox. It’s a truly special place that feels worlds away from the everyday hustle. Highly recommended!

Hilary’s place was wonderful! She was very accommodating and hospitable! The annex was such a relaxing place for us! We loved venturing around Windsor and getting to see Windsor Castle which is very walkable getting to! Hilary was easy to communicate throughout our travels, and we loved getting to talk to her and Jamie! Thank you for a terrific stay! 🩷
