It was great to live with Doris. The house is super cozy, Doris herself is super nice and her pets are totally cute and lovely. In short: we felt super comfortable. We were only there one night to visit the Christmas market in Ahrweiler. Unfortunately we didn't meet Doris personally, but everything worked without any problems thanks to the smooth communication. The dog also received us very friendly. It is absolutely recommendable.

We found the accommodation as shown in the pictures and read on the ad. Communication, check-in and check-out went very well and smoothly. We used the property over the Christmas holidays. It was very cozy and clean. The apartment has everything to offer to break out of the stressful everyday life and enjoy some rest. We will definitely book the accommodation again and can only recommend a stay in Schalkenbach.

I have been here for the second time now and for good reason. The connection is great, both AB, nature and the surrounding area can be reached quickly. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, the accommodation is sparkling clean and the check-in is absolutely easy. On top of that, price and performance fit. Definitely a recommendation!

The perfect host, he is a gentleman, we chatted with a beautiful Italian wine at the evening. The house is very very beautiful. He prepared a breakfast with most delicious handmade marmalades. But just keep in mind, this is not a B&B, there is a respectful owner of the house and you should act accordingly.

Magical place in the middle of the Eifel, surrounded by mountains of volcanic origin. Berndt not only made us dinner and breakfast, but even went on a hike with us the next morning. If you not only want to sleep somewhere, but also want to get to know a real local, this is the place for you!

You enter the apartment and you have this "WOW" effect. It was clean and the view of the Rhine was very good. Quiet residential area with nice neighbors. There is a good train connection in the direction of Cologne. Is only recommended!

Beautiful little quaint cottage in the countryside in Lind. Perfect starting point to discover the beautiful surroundings and everything necessary to recover is available. The best way to park your car is to drive 100 meters further and park in the large parking lot in front of the cemetery, in front of the hut there is only very limited, unpaved parking. Gladly again!

Cozy place for a white-spot-getaway

My friend and I already liked the small half-timbered house very well in the photos and in real terms it was much nicer. That's how I always imagined living in a half-timbered house: creaking wooden floorboards, small, angular, super cozy and the stove was the icing on the cake when it came to comfort. We were there the night the storm "Sabine" swept across the country and the whole house shook a bit during the violent gusts; just great. And when we checked in there was a brief insight into the history of the "dwarf school", which we also found great.

Charming little house by the river, perfect in winter to escape the hustling of cities. Warmth of the wood oven, the bath and the feathers blankets made my stay. Great location to hike around. Heike has been very flexible and lovely.

Alexandra’s place is a little oasis not far from the red wine trail in Ahr Valley. I don’t want to tell too many people about the valley because it’s spectacular..... and relatively untouched as far as wine tourism is concerned (but it’s by far one of the best!!). I asked Alexandra if we could stay only a day before we were to show up, and she was amazingly accommodating. The space is gorgeous, very comfortable and I wish that we could have stayed longer. And Kayley (I may have misspelled that!!) her Border Collie is just BEAUTIFUL. Would 💯 recommend Alexandra’s place to stay!!

Everything was great! The apartment is very nicely decorated, cozy and clean. Great for people who want to withdraw a little. There are great hiking trails in and around Rheinbreitbach. If you like being outside in the fresh air, you can do a lot. The bus stop is 4 minutes away on foot and there is a very good train connection from Bad Honnef or Unkel. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Klaus and Angelika were really nice and agreed to pick me up from the train station when I missed my bus. A heartfelt thank you!

Just a beautiful apartment to relax and unwind: On the terrace we could sip the first coffee in the morning sun, the trails in the Siebengebirge are right on your doorstep and in the evening we enjoyed the cozy fireplace. Clean everything available what you need

Davids place is really nice! It has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equiped and the bedroom and bathroom are spacious. The bedroom doesn't get very dark, but you can fix it by hanging a fleece blanket or towell on the curtain rails (or use a sleeping mask). David is very hospitable and check in/out went smoothly. He has great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The outdoor sun terrace is very nice. I definately recoomend this place!

Peters apartment is very spacious and close to the Rhine. There are woods around where you can walk and explore the area. There are a lot of historical places you can check out in Erpel. Peter came regularly to check up on us to check if everything is fine and was always very helpful with everything. It’s 30 min away from the UKB. Looking forward to book with Peter again!

The breakfast together on New Year's Day was lovingly prepared with homemade spreads, delicious bread and cheese, and honey from our own production. Alte Paketpost is a beautiful historic building, with all the space and freedom for a wonderful and carefree holiday. The hospitality of Werner and Petra is great. And all the artistic details make it a feast for the eyes. The room, bathroom and kitchen are very comfortable and fully equipped. The house is in the center of Bad Honnef, and various stages of the Rheinsteig can be started from the house. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We had a great time in Angela's flat! It's location is great for doing the Rotweinwanderung, but we also enjoyed cooking and relaxing in the flat. It's superclean and the kitchen is well stocked (plenty of nice wine glasses ;)). We brought some extra kitchen tools to do some more elaborate cooking, but we didn't need most of it. However, do bring a baking/oven dish if you want to cook something in the (superclean) oven!

The communication with Angela was great, very quick and reliable and very warm. She is a great host! The apartment is really unique in the city wall of Ahrweiler. It is very comfortably furnished and gets cozy and warm. Nearby are the restaurants, cafes and sights of Ahrweiler's old town. You can go shopping for everyday needs not far away. I got very good information about parking from Angela, no problem at all, especially with the '20 -minute-free button 'at the parking lots, which are usually charged on weekdays from 8-18h, even the luggage unloading and moving into the apartment went well. I felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back.

We went back for a stay at Sabine's B&B because of her great hospitality! She makes awesome vegan food, that is better than most of the non-vegan food I usually eat, but also had a great place to stay, in the middle of the nature.

We were about the wine festival in Ahrweiler. The apartment was really much bigger than expected and lived up to all our expectations. The central location - in the middle of the city - is simply unbeatable. A public parking (4, - € / day!) Is also provided within a radius of 150 meters. So in conclusion ... ALL BEST AND THE NEXT TIME AGAIN!

The apartment is beautifully located right on the gate in the pedestrian area. Parking for a fee no problem right outside the city gate. Balcony is very narrow, is just for 2 people, view of the vineyards is indeed available, but a few houses are in the field of view. Otherwise, the apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. Ahrweiler is a beautiful city.

Central and better you can stay in Ahrweiler in a holiday apartment for up to 5 people. The location, the equipment, the size of the rooms we were very pleasantly surprised. If you go out of the house, you are right in the pedestrian area and has all the shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. right in front of you. Everything was sparkling clean, tidy and very tastefully decorated and equipped with much love. The car can be parked directly behind the city wall (about 100 m). The check-in was completely uncomplicated, since the communication with Thorsten went very well. We felt very comfortable with 4 adults in this apartment and can highly recommend them. Great location and a nice, big and super equipped apartment. I certainly was not here for the last time.

We loved our stay at Thorsten's place. It's a magical spot in the historic old town and lovely view from the sun-drenched balcony out to the vineyards. Everything was straight-forward and easy with checkin and checkout, the town was charming and it was a great base for hiking in Altenahr, the start of the Red Wine Trail and inline skating along the Ahr, not to mention taking in the spa at Bad Neuenahr. Clean, comfortable place in a nice area.

Matthias is nice and offered many helps during my stay. The apartment is cozy, quiet and with amazing view. Really love Rech the tranquil wein village, although it's a bit hard to go to supermarket with train. ++: Self check-in is really convenient The self-check-in was very convenient, the small village was quiet and beautiful, the house was comfortable and clean, and many foggy photos were taken. The host was also very nice. I did n’t buy enough food for Christmas and gave me five eggs. Hope spring or autumn can come again.

Relaxed atmosphere and cosy dwelling

We felt very comfortable. Pluses: easy check-in using a key box. Great surroundings, impressive vineyards and forest slopes, wonderful peace.

We enjoyed our short break in a rural area. The price-performance ratio is right. We do not like two single beds. Otherwise absolutely recommendable. Unfortunately, we did not meet the hosts. So anonymous for airbnb.

The room I stayed in was very comfortable so that I could stay really fine! It is in an excellent location in the beautiful wine field.

A nice little apartment with great views!

Daniela is an amazing host and we totally loved her hospitality. Everything in her 200-year-old house looks very clean, cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed the chance to spend an evening in the small backyard surrounded by flowers and listening to birds singing. Without Daniela we would've missed Erpeler Ley - a viewpoint above the town with astonishing views of the Rhein and surroundings. Erpel itself is worth a visit - it was a very authentic experience. Sitting in the restaurant in the central square we felt as if we were not even in Germany but in a romantic picture about Germany.

Cozy little room with everything you need in a beautiful half-timbered house with garden. Even "emergency" Miracoli for hungry hikers who have not made it to shopping :) Great hosts. Friendly welcome. Gladly again.

What a cute little town. I felt very comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. Daniela showed me everything and gave me tips on where to eat. Unfortunately there is no supermarket in the village, but you can easily take the train to the next or the ferry over to Remagen (travel times are available on the Internet.) For people with "sharp ears" I recommend Ohropax, because the street at night But there you can do a good job :-) The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The bathroom small but nice. Come again!

Amazing home in a picturesque town in Germany. The home and town are around 300 years old the town is incredible. If you’re looking for a unique stay I highly recommend staying here.
