Evelyn and Lou were great hosts. They made me feel welcomed and at home with their laid-back and warm personalities. The egg and sausage breakfast sandwich with coffee was a tasty morning treat. Lou even offered to take me ice-fishing with him if I wanted to, and I would have if I had the time. Thank you!

Staying at Evelyn's worked out great for me. She communicated well and was very flexible on my arrival and departure times. Evelyn and Lou treat guests as friends or family, and offer you full privileges in the refrigerator, kitchen, etc. Within a few minutes, I was checked in and getting comfortable. I had a busy evening preparing for a work presentation, so I couldn't take advantage of kayaking for fishing which were both offered. My room was cozy with a window facing the water, and the private bath was conveniently located directly outside of the bedroom. In the evening, Evelyn, Lou and the Chi-Weenies retired to the upstairs, and I had a quiet evening to work on my project. I slept well, woke up and made a few cups of coffee in the Keurig before heading out to work. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay, and I'd definitely return.

I had a wonderful stay at Evelyn's cozy house. I sat by the gas fireplace looking out at the canal daily and relaxed. It was a terrific stay!

Nice room and amenities. Evelyn went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable; she even had snacks and popcorn prepared for me when I arrived. It would be a pleasure to stay at Evelyn's again.

Evelyn and Lou were great hosts! When we arrived we messaged if we could start up a fire in the fire pit outside and ended up hanging out with them by the fire for the evening. She has a wonderful breakfast bar space to grab coffee and snacks. We got to enjoy using their kayaks for a day as well. Wonderful mini-vacation and we would be happy to stay again.

Niki and Ryan have a beautiful new home and you can see their pride in how clean and inviting it is. They were very accommodating and dog Daisy is a great little hostess that loves to make you feel at home! Easy access to shopping, I-94 and other main arteries. Highly recommend this to anyone and it is most reasonably priced.

Good location in southeast Michigan. Ryan & Niki's house is beautiful. The room and loft area we had was perfect for us.

You will not be disappointed in Niki's listing. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, you have your own sitting area close to your bedroom and your own restroom. The restroom is large and the towels are very plush. The area is very close to stores/restaurants and feels very safe. Niki's listing has its own door code giving you peace of mind. You can not go wrong booking to stay with Niki and Ryan. 10 star out of 5!

Niki and Ryan have a beautiful new home that made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable during my month long stent. Daisy is a wonderful pup who kept me company throughout my stay. Grocery shopping and multiple other amenities were within a few minutes drive. I would stay here again without hesitation

The accomodations are very clean, very comfortable and very convenient to local shopping and restaurants. I will check to see if they have availability the next time in am in the Detroit area.

David went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable! The place was very cute and charming and a perfect setting for a weekend getaway or even an extended stay. Neighborhood was great, with a public boat ramp just a few miles away. Beautiful view from rear 2nd floor porch. I would go back to this property again.

Great place to stay! Right on a canal! Close to I-94, and lots of restaurants. Loved my stay. Would stay here again for sure! David was only a phone call away if I needed anything. Great host, great place!

Great location for a nice relaxing summer night.

We stayed (3) days at Richards house and we were not disappointed. The house was clean and bigger than expected. It had great views of Lake St.Clair out of every window. My wife and I sat on the balcony every morning for coffee and spent our days outside enjoying the view. There was a fireplace in the living room and a bar area. It was a very quiet neighborhood and had a lot of privacy, its a great place to relax. There is a good little diner at the end of the block that had awesome breakfast. Its very close to Algonac which was a great drive down the lake. I would definitely stay again.

We couldn't ask for a better place to stay! It is right on the water and the house is outstanding. The owner was very prompt with a response any time I had a question. I will definitely be back in the future! Thanks!!

This was a beautiful home in a lovely, quiet locations. Perfect for relaxing with the family. We had one small issue at the end, having to pay for a torn couch which we did not tear. I am confident that this was just something overlooked by the property management before we came in, but still disappointed to be accused of causing damage which we didn't cause and having to pay for it. I mention this only in case it happens to someone else, they will know that it was already torn (should it not be fixed right away). I highly recommend this lovely home and we had a lovely time in the house.

We stayed for six nights while a family member was recovering from minor surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. What an amazing place this was!! The picture don't do the justice. Imagine yourself getting up to sunrise in your backyard and fishing is just a backyard game!! Both bedroom are very spacious and open, with view to scenic Lake St. Clair!! Family liked the too. Owner was very prompt at responding.. normallly he responded within 5 minutes. Very nice gentleman, was flexible for our early check-in and late checkout! Thank you Richard !! We're definitely coming back whenever our travel plans bring us to this part of the country!!

Spectacular home and stay! Richard responded to inquiries almost immediately before and during our stay. Great views of the lake. Super clean and comfortable both inside and out. Plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. Lake St. Clair fishing is spectacular. We caught tons of Large Mouth Bass, a few Small Mouth Bass and Pike. Bonus to have mooring whips at the boat dock to keep your boat off the wall and floating free without rubbing on the dock. More great places to eat near by than you could possibly visit in a weeks stay. Great week of fishing and relaxing!

The owners were really great in that they even put some groceries in the fridge and soap/shampoo in the bathrooms for us. Beautiful location and home! Looking forward to going back in the summer time!

Chris was a great host. I sprung on him that I needed a place to stay just a couple days beforehand. He was easy to communicate with, keeps a super clean house, and the bed was really comfortable. I would highly recommend his place.

Best of best. Truly a home away from home. Started with driving into neighborhood, and pulling up to a beautiful home, where I met Chris, who gave me a tour of the house, which included, my private spacious bedroom, that had a flatscreen tv, a closet, and a seat, and a door that I was able to lock. Also, a very nice bed, which 2 ppl could sleep in, if you're not traveling solo. The next room, was a lounge room, which consisted of 2 seats, which I was able to, if I wanted, sit back and relax,or read. Next, was my personal full bathroom, which had everything; soap, towels, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer. Then, there was the living room, which had a full couch, 2 additional seats, and a big flat screen tv. Then, there was the kitchen, which had a full size refrigerator, stove and oven, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and all utensils, and assorted pots and pans, which Chris said, I was free to use. Also, a washer/dryer room, which contained a full size washer and dryer. There is a dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, though I chose to eat my meals on the patio, in the backyard. The patio was very nice, very peaceful, and zen-like. The entire property; front yard, backyard, and the inside, were very clean, and maintained. Everything was kept very neat, and very quiet. As a host, Chris was awesome! He was completely available at all times, though giving me my own space, to where I felt I was in my own home. There were all kinds of stores within a reasonable distant. Lots of places to eat at, all styles/types. Of all the places I've stayed, this one is ranked the top, for me. I'd highly recommend Chris, if you need a place to stay.

This was an amazing stay! The apartment is lovely. The view is scenic. Very neat. It was a pleasure to relax in the living room and the back porch. If you want the feel of a hotel and a home, look nowhere else. 5STARS!
