We (Marcel, 46, Melanie, 45, Levi, 10 & Ayumi 🐶<1) rent our granny flat (without kitchen!) in the basement of our house in Mettmann / Metzkausen with separate entrance via the hallway. The spacious bedroom is located on the terrace to the garden very quiet and idyllic. It is especially suitable for trade fair guests (Düsseldorf 20km, Essen 30km and Cologne approx. 40 km) or someone who is visiting family nearby, for example. If you have any questions, we are always available and look forward to hosting you!

This basement apartment is all about relaxation. Whether cozily on the terrace, relaxing in the hot tub or simply in the room with a king-size bed and underfloor heating. At lunchtime you can prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen and in the evening you can go out to eat in the delicious pizzeria opposite. A bakery, Rewe and Aldi are just 3 minutes away. The airport and the trade fair are about 20 minutes away. Contactless check-in and check-out is possible through the key safe.

The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

The highlight of the 60 sqm apartment is the 40 sqm roof terrace, where you can enjoy the sun all day. The apartment is located on the second floor of a two-family house. 11 steps lead to the house entrance. The surrounding cities of Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal can be reached by car in approx. 30 minutes.

We have already prepared some things for your visit. For the first day you will find coffee, tea, water, spices, pasta, tomato sauce, etc. in the kitchen cupboard. If you have sunny weather, you are also welcome to have a barbecue on the terrace. A small charcoal grill and charcoal are available for you.
