Our 4-day mini vacation in the house of El was a delightful experience. The house is clean and tidy, logical furnished, equipped and well calculated to children. There was even a stair gate so that our daughter could also above themselves milling around. The beds are good, there is bed linen, duvets and towels over and the bathroom is well equipped with bath and separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, with oven and all kinds of pans that you would need. El received us very welcoming and we could even use his fishing poles, where we caught with some reed roaches. He is a good host who responds quickly to email / sms and gave us feel welcome when we arrived at the house, even though we were a little later than agreed. The house is wonderfully quiet and from the kitchen you can see the boats sail past against a green background with a huge diversity of birds, so rural and beautiful. We made a wonderful trip in the Weerribben (kingfishers seen) and visited the Orchid Farm in Luttelgeest (recommended!). I would encourage anyone with or without children, recommend this house for a quiet weekend in the vicinity of beautiful countryside and charming villages.

The house has a pleasant atmosphere and feels like home. We may use the piano, books and fun board games. The pellet stove provides cozy warmth. Inventory is complete, so you can stay carefree. The rest home and surroundings are lovely. The natural environment is very beautiful and there are fun activities to do. El is a nice person and goes after what he promises. We -an adult and two boys aged 13 and 11 years- have had a very good time and would recommend this location wholeheartedly.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived an hour later than planned in connection with traffic. We immediately felt welcome and got a quick tour through the house. The house met fully our expectations and it was nice to see that we could use everywhere. With 5 adults we had a lovely time in Ossenzijl nice located in the garden, nice walking around and slept in under soft duvets. We definitely recommend this house for a nice weekend in the Weerribben!

Pentecost in the Weerribben in a romantic and cozy house with thatched roof on a private island! Special and adventurous! The crossing with the boat went fast. The (mostly) quiet gliding past boats have a soothing, greenery and water all around you, a friendly recreation and village within walking distance. Good spots for canoe / kayak / bike rental. We felt welcomed, including by the beds made and the towels in the bedrooms fine, and the good communication with Antine. Ideal place for nature lovers and people who are looking for romance in a green / blue area. You should have no objection to that stuff lying around from the owners and also have difficulty walking.

We had some very relaxed days at Antine's place. It is cosy, well equiped and beeing on a private little island is just special. Communication with Antine was easy and reliable. I recommend this place for people who enjoy nature and water around them.

Ossenzijl is a very scenic place and the landscape is really beautiful. The communication with Antine was good and we felt welcome to her place. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed concerning the cleanness and hygiene of the house, since we found ourselves confronted with mice droppings, water stains and mold, which in my opinion is not an appropriate standard for a holiday home. I hope that the house is going to be in better shape for the next visitors.

The cottage is beautifully situated. We are with private Canadian canoes to dangers and that was no problem. was nice that there were beds made and towels were ready, was also the heater. There was a large area for canoe stuff that was convenient. The kitchen was a bit tight but that has not prevented us to our liking cooking. Both the Weerribben and the cottage itself certainly fulfilled our expectations. the only problem was that the third day when the wind was what are we going to be even already had some problems with small stitch flies (Mitches, sissies, mompieren or whatever those things are called too).

Ingrid is a fantastic host. We originally planned to go to Giethoorn. However, we went to the biking around the National park trip which Ingrid recommended instead. And that was incredibly AMAZING! We were stunned by the nature along the way. Thank you so much. I'm grateful to be your guest.

We stayed one night at the elegant B & Ingrid. It was very special, the location is a great oasis of peace and expansive views and we saw lots of swallows, birds of prey and a hare. The room is really perfect, very spacious, a comfortable bed and decent shower, toilet. Outside a nice place to sit, everything is fine on the ground floor. Ingrid is very serviceable and friendly. Overall highly recommended !!

Wonderful quiet location, situated in nature. Lovely pool there. And upon arrival there was a delicious cake from the bakery ready + a bowl of fruit! Breakfast was also well cared for. The room was clean and fresh.

A super stay with Titi and her daughters (and their new dog!) in a beautiful area. Everything was as advertised, and Titi is extremely welcoming and helpful with information about the region. An established working artist, Titi allowed us to stay in her studio both nights which was just magic... Both this host AND her art are highly recommended.

Last weekend (8-10 July 2016), we may stay in the beautiful loft Ingrid with 11 people. The loft looks exactly like the pictures and Ingrid received us very well. We all slept very well and the bathrooms are all equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. The location where the loft, is also lovely. We have not left the grounds, but not necessary if you are with a group to chat and enjoy the sunshine in! Want here, lovely house! Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place!! We were a group of 10 girls and we were really impressed. The house is really like on the pictures and Ingrid is so polite, nice and helpful. We stayed only one night but want to come back. The surrounding is quite and nice. We made a kayak trip only 5 min. away from the house. You could stay at the house with a big group or with your family - you have enough space - in- and outside. I hope we will come back in summer to use the pool as well. The house has everything you need: cozy spaces, big kitchen full-equipped, 4 or 5 bathrooms, cozy beds, garden and pool. What else do you need ;)

What a fantastic, tastefully decorated and beautifully renovated farmhouse! We were there for the weekend, extended family of 11 people; there is plenty of space, with choices between great sleeping spaces in the wallside (old fashioned 'bedstee') or bedrooms. A modern spacious kitchen with everything you need and with great views of the fields around. In rural Friesland, near the Weerriben. Ingrid was very friendly, flexible and helpful, eager to learn how she can still improve on the experience. A great place for family reunions, a weekend out with friends, or even business retreats. Sorry if this sounds like a commercial, but it is a hidden pearl in Friesland!

We had an awesome stay at Ingrid's place. All was as described: huge house, huge kitchen, many bathrooms, the nice fireplace... The surrounding is really calm and beautiful. Ingrid was also really helpful about how all the things you need to know to have a pleasant stay. We highly recommend this place !

The Ingrid and Ruud house is very fine. The house is very large and modern. The house is nice and heated by the stove, and when that's turned the evening, despite the large space, awfully snug and cozy. The setting is lovely, walking and cycling you need here actually done. All in all we enjoyed it!

Ina's place was magical, a very cute house in a very cute town that takes you back in time to a magical place! away from the every day drama of life! and yet still here! the beautiful country side of Holland and their magical canals! an enchanting place! Loved it!

the landlord of the house nice heated before we arrived and even placed towels ready for us. the house was only a bit tricky to find, but that was because of the fog and the fact that few houses on the north Kalenberg have a clear number. The last opinion of the egg farmer was clearly go over the bridge and then the 4th house on the left.

We had a great stay at Irene's place. Everything was in order and the place look even better than the pictures. Lovely, clean, well kept in a quiet and rural area. Great site for families and great for summer holidays so you can make use of the surrounding areas. We loved it! I would note that the Internet's a bit slow, so if you need to a fast connection to work while you're visiting, you should plan to find a cafe or other space with Wifi.

We had a wonderful time at Sleeping in confidence. It was nice weather which was ideal, eg to sail by canoe or swim in the canal. The warm welcome from Irene and Ted made you feel at home immediately. The extensive breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace is definitely worth repeating.

Irene and her husband are the nicest hostsI have met on Airbnb. This made me feel at home from the very beginning. They are friendly and very helpful! The area is also very nice and beautiful whether you walk around, do cycling or use canoe you will not get disappointed. I also highly recommend to choose for their breakfast service! it is excellent. They grow some fruits and vegetables at their garden, which you get to taste at your breakfast! Altogether I had a wonderful stay at their place, which I am very grateful for that.

The boat is located in Kalenberg, a small fairytale town in the heart of the National Park Werribben-Wieden, a paradise for nature lovers! The area is ideal for fietzen, driving electric boat, hike, swim and relax. The adventure begins with the arrival: Since Vertrouwen can not be reached by car, you bring host Ted safely with a boat on the canal. After a warm welcome you to show Ted and Irene everything important on the boat and the adjoining bathhouse, where a galley kitchen (electrical stove, fridge, some cookware), shower and toilet are. Although the equipment is not luxurious, but according to purposes and sufficient. The ship is prepared with great attention to detail and just to fall in love! Bike, Water &. We had a wonderful stay on the ship "Trust". Everything was to the last detail, the communication in advance, pick up the rowboat across the canal, the reception, the boat itself and the breakfast. There is lots of privacy, the canoe at the boat is a very welcome addition. The journey we have made in the area was lovely and quiet to boot. There is plenty to see in the area and cafes and restaurants are easily accessible on foot. We had a wonderful weekend!

A truly beautiful ship in a great natural setting. We were warmly welcomed, entertained and felt on the ship equal well. The opportunity to explore directly from the garden with a canoe, the area is a blast. The canals are beautiful and we were lucky with the weather. We were welcomed very friendly even though we arrived later than planned. The small cozy room is similar enough space for two people. Further facilities and breakfast were good it was just something awkward that the toilet and shower are in another room which is only accessible from outside.

We arrived much later in the planned eleven o'clock in the evening only, and that was no problem! She even late in the evening we have all been explained and answered us. She is very nice and cozy and this is also reflected in the huge amount of stuff they collected. The space and the garden seemed more like the pictures we had seen. We were four and that was too much for the available space, we were cramped together and it was ready to rough it. If you are with two people and you love everywhere and nowhere stuff, then this is perfect!

Had the most amazing stay! The location is amazing, the B&B was so cute, so clean, so perfect. The hosts were amazing. They provided a ton of information about how to get there, where to go. I rented a bike for the day and went to the national park near by, which was an amazing experience. No complaints, amazing service, breakfast was great and location was amazing!

Britta and Robert are the best hosts! Britta kindly picked us from the station and introduced us to the neighborhood on the way home. Thanks to Britta's advice, we got to tour not only Giethoorn but also Ossenzijl and Blokzijk, which were just stunning! The bnb itself is exactly as what it looks like in the picture, cozy, well equipped, and we loved playing with their dog and cats. So proud of myself in making the decision to stay in Britta's, would recommend it as a must-go for all visitors!

We fully enjoyed our stay here. Ms. Timmerman was very nice and happy to provide us with all the information we needed. The conditions were as described, a private quiet and clean room, a clean toilet, a place where to park the car and a quiet neighbourhood. We found some fruit in the room, tea and fresh water and this gesture made us feel very welcome. Furthermore, after agreeing to be served a breakfast, Ms. Timmerman was very flexible. She asked us whether we had some preferences on the type of food we would like to be offered for breakfast. The food was fresh, nicely served and we paid little money for it. We wanted to explore the area but only knew about Giethoorn. The maps we found in the room and the suggestions of Ms. Timmerman helped us explore many interesting attraction points in the vicinity of Oldenmarkt and made our experience remarkable. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences so far.

We had a great stay at Margriet's place. Everything was clean and the way the description told us. The Bed is comfortable and you can take a nice shower. Margriet herself is a very loving person. Mooie ervaring. We hebben genoten van de vriendelijke ontvangst en zeer goed geslapen in de stilte van de yurt. De plek was voor ons een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een fietstocht in de prachtige natuur van het nationaal park Weerribben. Zeker aan te bevelen!

Wij hebben genoten in deze leuke yurt. Vooral de locatie vonden wij erg mooi, zo in de natuur. Wij voelden ons heerlijk afgezonderd van de buitenwereld. Er lag mooie muziek en de dieren (kippen, ezels en een haan) die buiten liepen deden ook gezellig aan.

Een hele mooie plek met een prachtige yurt die er van binnen bijna sprookjesachtig uitziet. Hoewel je heel erg "buiten" bent lig je 's nacht veilig voor de muggen onder een klamboe in een zacht fris bed. Een hele fijne plek om te overnachten als je van iets bijzonders houdt.

Eine kleine aber süsse Unterkunft mit Eseln gerade vor der Haustür. Dewi war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit aber man hat seine Ruhe. super Ort!!

Wij hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad in de yurt het ziet er super gezellig uit. Ookal was het slecht weer we hebben we ons goed vermaakt met de leuke steden rondom de accomodatie. Goede service gehad van de eigenaren zeker de moeite waard om terug te komen! Groetjes Isha en Rebecca

Had a wonderful stay with Ella and Family, in their quaint Thatched house, it was ideally place for my visit. My stay was punctuated with delecious breakfasts, chance to meet locals at their famous pub De Carre in Tuk, where we cycled to, on a balmy July evening, Ella went out of her way to help and make my visit memorable. Het is en ruime chalet met en tuin en terras waar je lekker kunt zitten. Jürgen heeft ons ontvangen en de weg wijs gemaakt. Hij werkt in een restaurant naast de camping en kan lekker koken. Aanrader om bij hem te eten. Het huisje is compleet met alles wat je nodig heb. Voor ons was het matras te dun, en helaas daardoor niet niet zo goed geslapen. Tegenover de camping is een bos waar je lekker kan lopen (met de hond) leuke plekken in de buurt om naar toe te gaan is oa. Giethoorn en Blokzijl. Fluisterboot huren en een middagje varen is ook erg leuk om te doen.

We spent a very nice holiday in Kuinre with its wonderful region. Dymphy is a very kindly host, friendly helpfull and not complicated. So we felt really wellcome with our two dogs. Everything was very good. I really can recommend this B&B.

I had a very pleasant stay in Kuinre. Dymphy is a friendly person who makes you feel equally welcome. The accommodation was fine, a special place to be allowed to stay!

We slept wonderfully and enjoy the stay. An idyllic, quiet place, very tastefully decorated and lovingly designed. The many animals vorbeituckernde boats and peacefulness letting us come to rest. Our dog and child (1 year) were welcome. Ever Dymphy from the beginning was open to all questions and very helpful!

We loved our stay in this B&B. Kuinre is a cute little village. We had lovely whether so were able to enjoy the evening sun in the garden. We were with 2 kids who particularly loved the trampoline. Very nice to stay for a day or two!! Dymphie is a great host. Very communicative and flexible!!!

Our son would like to live here. Dymphy's cottage-like mini house is both very cosy and super practical. Situated in a quiet orchard, where we saw the boats pass by from our private terrace, we heard the birds and the goat proclaiming their happiness. Oh yeah, and an occasional yell from our son jumping up and down on the big trampoline. If you're in for a peaceful weekend, close to national parks Weerribben and Wieden, this is an excellent spot - highly recommended! And if you like to stay longer, I would wouldn't blame you; probably only be jealous of the luxury of having a complete mini house and a very attentive hostess at your service!

We had a wonderful time at the sweet cabin from Nora. Warm nights in cold November and lots to enjoy around the area even on rainy days. We took walks along the canals which are 5 min away by car and saw charming sunsets! Even found wild apple trees on our way. At the cabin Nora has everything you need to make a cozy night go by At her open kitchen and warmth lighting ! We will be back in the summer to enjoy the fireplace set outside the cabin : )

Idyllic, peaceful. We stayed here at the end of a 6 week tour of Europe, after seeing the big cities, and the crowds of tourists. It is very peaceful and quiet here. In the morning you wake to the sound of songbirds. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. The rental is very well equipped including having a television with many English channels. This area of Holland is very picturesque, something you might see in a typical Dutch landscape painting. The house is nicely situated, near to the pretty village of Giethoorn, where we took a canal tour, and close to other towns, to visit relatives. Oldemarkt town and the grocery store is close by, and the bed was the most comfortable of all of the places we stayed. We would recommend this home very much, and would come back to stay again.

We had a nice week in the cute cottage in Paasloo. Upon arrival, we received very friendly by Nora and the cabin was like the description indicates. The cottage was neat clean, the beds made fresh and if something was missing we could ask for and was ensured. We also really enjoyed the garden and the beautiful surroundings. If you choose to rest, then this is definitely recommended.
