A fabulous location for a Lake Como vacation! Roberto's apartment is very new, beautiful and clean. And the view from the terrace is awe-inspiring! Roberto's father Angelo welcomed us and showed us the apartment. He is friendly and keeps a close watch on the apartment while you are exploring the lake. The small town of Sala Comacina is a refreshing change from the touristy larger towns. Great little shops and restaurants, without the crowds. And with a ferry stop in town, Roberto's apartment makes the perfect home base for a Lake Como getaway.

We had an outstanding stay in Roberto's loft apartment. Everything is as described in the listing, and the view really is spectacular! The space is very well laid out and comfortable. Everything has been thought of; there is even a cd player and some cds. Location is fantastic. The flat is one block up from the main strip around the lake and it is much quieter. 5 minute walk to a few shops; 30 min walk on the Greenway trail directly behind the flat Lecco with more shops and large grocery store. Communication with Roberto and his friend and the flat manager, Geraldine, was clear and easy. We were greeted by Geraldine. She introduced us to the apartment and reviewed how everything operated etc., and she told us where was good for what (groceries, restaurants, ferry etc.) We felt very informed thanks to her guidance. We met Roberto and his parents during our stay and they were kind and welcoming. We would love to have the opportunity to return here again one day.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a wonderful three night stay in Roberto's flat. We were greeted at the apartment by Geraldine, who was extremely helpful and friendly, especially as we were 6 hours late due to a flight delay! We also met Roberto's father Angelo a few times , who was also very freindly and attentive. It is simply breathtaking walking into the apartment and seeing the view for the first time, it is just as it appears in the photos and deserves all the rave reviews. The little balcony was much used during our stay! The apartment itself is bright, spacious, clean and tidy and has everything you could want. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans etc. and we happily cooked in one evening. The basics (oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc) were all there, as was a bottle of wine in the fridge which was very welcome after a stressful journey. The bed is huge and comfortable, if a little on the firm side, though I find this quite common in Europe. The village of Sala Comacina is a lovely un-touristy place, we ate out twice at local restaurants and visited two local bars, and all were great. The Enotoca has a fabulous wine shop upstairs. There is also a small shop where you can get milk, bread, cheese, pasta etc, but you would need to go to one of the bigger towns for more extensive groceries. Driving can be a little tricky as the roads can get quite narrow, and as a pedestrian you often have to share these same narrow roads with the cars! There are stairways that cut through the hill at regular intervals so you can avoid walking the main road as much as possible, but some are quite long and steep and not for the fainthearted! Similarly the Greenway which runs behind the apartment offers an alternative walking route and has lovely views over the lake, but just be aware there are lots of stairs and steep bits. The garage is available for guest use, though we found it easier to park on the road in front of the apartment. As others have mentioned, the church bells start at 7am and did wake us, but they would certainly not put us off coming back! The ferry runs from Sala both North and South; we caught it to Bellagio which was a great way to see the lake and villages along the way. The boat runs fairly infrequently though, however perhaps this increases in Summer. I cannot recommend Roberto's apartment enough, the views have to be some of the best I have ever had on holiday. I would have no hesitation in coming again.

It really was stunning! The photos are very accurate and we had high expectations which where exceeded during our stay. The loft is really nicely set up and has everything one would want. The place was very clean and the views are so great we had a hard time leaving to visit the area. Unlike overly touristy bellagio the area around the apartment was far more quiet and authentic we thought. The only minor inconvenience is the church bell tower which occasionally can be loud (it really isn't that bad) but otherwise is actually very charming. Geraldine who greeted us was very helpful and had great recommendations. We would go back here any time!

First of all we got an answer from Roberto very quickly witch was very helpful Geraldine the lady that welcomed us was so nice and warm, she explained us all we needed to know and gave us great tips on where to go and where to eat The loft is strictly amazing the view is breathtaking we couldn't stop starring at it and you see it from any point in the loft Roberto left as great chocolate wine and water. The loft is very clean and well organized The bathroom with the hut tub is so lovely and makes you feel like in a 5 stars hotel. Me and my wife had a great time in Roberto's loft and for sure will be back as soon as we get the chance

When arriving at the bus stop, Roberto's friend Geraldine met us and showed us around the town and the apartment! Geraldine was super helpful and even helped us secure a cab to Como for our trip to the airport. There was a nice bottle of wine and some chocolate waiting for us upon arrival :). The apartment itself is incredible. Absolutely amazing view with a nice outdoor sitting area. We spent most of the trip drinking wine on the patio. If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy a great view, look no further. The apartment is clean and has a lot of room and all the necessary kitchen items. There was plenty of coffee left over for us to make each morning which was great. The town of Sala Comacina is very friendly with some restaurants, a bakery, a couple bars, etc. There is a nice summary of local information in the apartment and the wifi was great for searching. The town of Lenno is a little bigger and is about a 25-30 min walk if you want to get groceries or shopping. We rented a boat from Lenno in about 2 minutes and rode around the lake to check out all the towns in the main triangle. The location is great because it feels secluded but is close to whatever you want/need. Geraldine is a great benefit of this place. Super helpful and has lived in the town for a long time. She helped us change reservations at a restaurant one night and was very kind/friendly. Overall, the was the nicest place was stayed in during our Italy trip and would love to come back again. Don't miss out on this Place!

We absolutely loved staying at Roberto's place .The apartment was great and the view spectacular. Everything was warm and inviting. Communication and facilities great and would love to return. Geraldine was a wonderful help to us and Roberto's parents delightful. Sala is a brilliant place to stay if you really do want the local feel. The Greenway walk behind Roberto's was an excellent way to connect to other villages. We truly had a wonderful time. Thanks to all !

We were greeted promptly by Geraldine who showed us where to park and oriented us to the apt. She was available throughout our stay to answer any questions. It was a beautiful apt- well decorated, amazing view. We loved hearing the sounds of the cafe below and the locals during the day in the small plaza below our window. The small town is a perfect get away from the more touristy towns nearby but an easy bus ride to the next few towns along the road and a quick walk to the ferry pier, the bakery, butcher, grocery market and post office. I highly recommend this apt in Sala Comacina.

This place is worth bokning if only for them view! I had absolutely nothing to complain about, the apartment has everything you need, even a washing machine! Perfect service and good recommendations for places to eat end things to do, will recommend this place to everyone!

Paola's apartment is perfect for two and very practical. It is located 15 meters from Lake Como and a small square where there is a restaurant. This place is paradise! We were very well received by a friend of Paula who was very kind. In addition, all the brochures on what we could do, was available when we arrived in the apartment (excursions on the lake, bus schedules, amenities in the city etc.). Thank you:-)

Paola's studio was the ideal place to stay at Lake Como. With a picture perfect view of the lake, which was just steps from our front dooor, it was quiet and non-touristy. Geraldine met us on arrival and is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful. You feel like you've made a friend. This small town has a wine bar, bakery, and wine shop just steps away from the apartment and the restaurant in the piazza below the apartment is excellent. The greenway path right there goes for 10 km between towns. The ferry is also close by. After visiting a few towns, including Bellagio and Ravenna, I can say without a doubt that this is the best place to stay at Lake Como.

We found the apartment exactly as described. Very clean and with all the amenities one needs including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The view was also spectacular. What most impressed us was the diversity of things that you can do. And you can walk to the villages nearby on the coastline of lake Como and find restaurants. There also is a very nice park at the northern end of Tremezzo. You can take the ferry towards Bellagio and spend half a day there before you take the ferry back again. And you're also in the middle of a hiking area with great vistas onto lake and mountains. Elena and her husband were very helpful in suggesting particular things to do according to your interests. You can also use the car and experience spectacular points of view high above the lake yes you drive to the near Lake of Lugano. It's a splendid place to experience the wonders of this area. Enjoy

Guisy and Robbie were excellent hosts! They responded promptly to emails and gave perfect directions to the apartment. The little town, Sala Comacina, is really cute -- only 3-4 places to eat but you can access locations on the lake either with a water taxi or by taking the bus to Menaggio and then taking a ferry. We tried one place (the pizza place) and it was the best food we ate in Italy! Besides eating and lounging, there's not a whole lot to do in Sala Comacina. The apartment is cute with a little downstairs kitchen and upstairs bedroom and bath.

Robbie met us a the bus stop and showed us the apartment which is really a few steps from the lake. He explained how to get to the island and told us where the restaurants and shops were. He is very nice and helpful. We were so happy with our stay. Everything was amazing! The little beach, swimming, the food, the island all the people were so sweet! It is such a beautiful little village. Our favorite was Ristorante La Comacina. We had the best meal of out trip so far and the view made it even more special. I highly recommend staying in Sala Comacina!! Walk around and talk to folks and eat and drink!! We also loved the bar Macelleria by the bus stop and the butcher shop (amazing sausage) . Great bartender and wine and we had a small plate of local meat and cheese. It was also wonderful to have the fresh fruit, coffee, tea, water, milk etc in the kitchen waiting for us for breakfast!! I love Lake Como!! Cant wait to go back!!

We were very well received by the brother of the host, a lovely person. The village is very cute, the cozy apartment on 2 floors. Take a private boat to the island opposite the village (7euros ERTA), and to join the ferrie if you do not want to use the car to visit the area. I recommend highly.

We spent seven glorious nights at Giusy's apartment in Sala Comacina, Lake Como. Her brother, Robbie, met us at the bus when we arrived, was a wealth of information about the area (local restaurants, etc.) and made himself available whenever we had questions. The apartment was clean, neat, and supplied with various food items and a large bowl of fresh fruit. It was smaller than expected, but certainly ample for the two of us. We should have asked for the fan (which was available to us) for a few 'warm' evenings. We loved the apartment, we loved the area, and we intend to return. Robbie was wonderful and made our stay even more pleasurable!! We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in staying in the Sala Comacina area.

Giusy's place was lovely to stay in. My wife and I only stayed two nights, but it's access to Lake Como is awesome. The apartment is located in a smaller town along the main route traversing Lake Como. There is plenty to do within walking distance, and the pizzaeria/cafe that's close by is really good. Robbie was extremely kind and helpful in helping us both check in, and find things to do.

Geraldine was a wonderful Host. She gave us a very warm welcome and showed us not only the house but the surrounding area as well. She is a very warm-hearted person and gives you the feeling that you are a part of this small village. The apartment is in an excellent condition and very close to the piazza and the lake (maybe 10m?). We loved our stay there and would book this apartment every time again. We can recommend it without any doubt!

Dear Geraldine, Thank you so much for our stunning 5 day stay in beautiful Sala Comacina, the village is picture perfect with a very relaxed atmosphere. Casa Geraldine Village Apartment is terrific very comfortable with that personal touch. What really makes it amazing is the chance to meet a beautiful lady like Geraldine who not only is a tremendous host but a very funny person as well. If you decide to stay here you will be happy you did, the location is excellent as the ferry stops here or you can use the bus service to move around. Try the speed boat hire in Lenno and cable car to pigra, Geraldine gave us lots of good advice on where we could visit. Sala Comacina has a some very nice people living there and we were lucky enough to meet Wendy and Robbie as well as Mario. Thanks Geraldine we hope to see you all again.

I went to Sala Comacina from Geraldine for 3 days, from the 31 of December 2014. Geraldine is a great host, she welcomed us in a very nice way, she invited us for the New Year's eve also with her friends. The apartment is very nice and tidy, well furnished and full of comforts, building on 2 floors. There is also a beautiful fireplace and the television is with decoders for international channels. The apartment is in a nice position, absolutely not far from the lake, and the town is very cute! Probably the best season for visiting Sala Comacina is Spring-Summer, when the peculiar restaurant on the near island is open, but in winter' sunny days the landscape is awesome. Definitely, I highly recommend the apartment and Geraldine.

Geraldine was an exceptional host! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and Geraldine went above and beyond anything we could have imagined for our stay. Her place is perfect - very clean, very reasonably priced and has everything you need: comfy bed, kitchen, internet and literally a 15 second walk from the front door to a beautiful area right on the lake (looking out to Isola Comacina). Tea, coffee, milk, bread and even wine were provided for us to enjoy! Geraldine speaks English (Originally from London) and Italian and assisted us throughout our whole experience as we needed. She provided detailed and helpful instructions to find her place, met us from the bus and helped us to settle in. During our stay she was on hand to help us find different places, provide advice on the best places to eat and help us with our Italian! Everything about our stay with Geraldine was right out of a storybook dream. The apartment was clean cozy and very comfortable. The pictures depict the place perfectly. It was conviently located 35 to 40 min walk to the grocery store just as explained. It's also located near two restaurants and two bars with wifi. However the best part of our stay was Geraldine and her friends. Don't be afraid to meet the locals. They truly made our stay wonderful. We drank we dance and we laughed. It was difficult to say goodbye. We highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to come back.

This is one of the most scenic, peaceful and memorable place our family stayed at (couple with 2 daughters, 9 and 12). The home is located right on the lido with an incredible view on Como lake and the island. There are great restaurants at the doorstep (although quiet at night). Shops and cafes are plenty and easy to get to by car. Inside, the home is compact, but well arranged, luminous, comfortable and well equipped. Communication was easy, as well as key exchange. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and welcome. Very much recommended.

Elisa & Tommy are wonderful host. Tommy took time to stop by and explain to us about the properties and suggestions on places to visit. Elisa is fast to revert on msg and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Very helpful. Very clear instructions are given before our trip made it easy for us to find the place. The house is beautiful and super clean. The only thing missing is description on the long and winding stairs leading to the bedrooms and the main living but thats ok with us as there is another small dining at the ground flr which we can put our heavy luggages. The property is quite near to eateries and also the visiting areas. Towels provided are clean and nice. Recycling bins and also instructions are clearly stated. Wifi is good! We will surely come back for longer stay next round if needed. Thanks again for our wonderful 1st time to Lake Como!

Apartment completely renovated with quality equipment (including bedding, very comfortable), very well located in Lenno (near the lake and the village center). In good weather the terrace would be lovely. Elisa has very kindly welcomed us and provided lots of useful information. The area has a charm and we really enjoyed this property. Note: there are 2 floors to access the apartment.

Great! A large and beautiful accommodation in a picturesque alley. Small very pleasant terrace. Five minutes from the port.

We hired a car and drove from Milan Linate airport which took almost two hours. We were quite late (about 11pm) arriving and Carolina very kindly stayed up to welcome us and show us the apartment. The apartment itself was nicely set out on two levels. It was well presented, very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of information about the area and places to visit. A five minute walk down the hill, through some narrow cobbled streets gets you to the water front. The people were very friendly and helpful, especially if you don't speak Italian! From there you can get a scheduled boat to most towns on Lake Como. We would highly recommend this lovely listing hosted by Carolina to anyone wishing to visit this area.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay! Carolina organised for her mother Elena(hope that's the spelling) to pick us up from the bus. A quick tour of the town explaining where things were and off to the very quaint apartment. It's very private enclosed amongst hillside houses. An easy walk down to the harbor ( a little tougher on the way back) Carolina and her mother were very kind and friendly towards us. Lenno was a great place to explore the region and we would love to come back!

Carolina was a fantastic host. She offered to pick us up from the bus stop, however we accidentally passed the stop and ended up further down the line. This was no problem for her, she gladly figured out where we'd gotten off and picked us up there. The apartment was beautiful, like a little country cottage. It was very well equipped. All appliances worked well, there was coffee/tea, even a jar of sweets and biscuits. The location is perfect. Lenno is a beautiful town that is far from 'touristy'. The walk down to the water takes less than 10 minutes where you can get a ferry almost anywhere. We stayed 4 nights here and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Carolina was very accommodating, sweet, and helpful, I had everything I needed and more. The apartment was even more beautiful than the pictures and the area was convenient and lovely. Could not recommend it enough. Great holiday on the lake.

We enjoyed our stay at this place immensely! The pictures are totally accurate, the place is nice and very cosy. We went for a long weekend together with our 6 month old son and Carolina provided a travel baby bed and a high chair. We enjoyed the garden as well, lying in the grass in the shadow of olive trees in the afternoon. We really felt welcome in their place! Carolina and her family were very nice and attentive! I have to say I totally felt like we were their personal guests - so warm and welcome and attentive were our hosts! Lenno is a small village but supermarket and lake are within walking distance (and with stroller accessible roads) and the surroundings are amazingly beautiful! I would toally recommend this place for a quiet couple or family get away!

Elena, Carolina' Mom, welcomed us instead because Carolina had to work at the time of arrival. Elena is however, as nice and welcoming as Carolina. We've stayed for 2 Nights and it was just amazing! The apartment is clean and has everything somebody would need. The lake is reachable through a lovely little Italian path within 5 minutes. As well, the restaurants in Lenno and close villages aren't expensive at all (to our surprise). Me and my wife definitely recommend this apartment to everyone looking for relaxing vacation. charming accommodation with a ground floor with a very nice room. Bakery 1 minute walk and the village center in 5 minutes. Parking not always available next to the house but can be loaded and unloaded easily. It lacks coffee (French), providing a plastic filter during your stay. REINHARD

The communication with the whole family worked perfectly; Carolinas brother bade us welcome on arrival, the mother on the other hand adopted us upon departure. The accommodation was very clean and comfortably furnished. The necessary kitchen utensils were all available. In the bathroom there is a hair dryer available. Garden was well kept and inviting. The neighbor's dog barked loudly unfortunately from 9am. The walk to the lake from 10-15min was steep and rocky, but quite feasible. Overall, a recommended place to stay for a short break on Lake Como.

Our stay at luisa's place was very great. The flat is well located (only 10 min walk to go to the lake), near the touristic area. The appartment is also well furnished and decorated and we almost felt like home. The view from the balcony is breathless. We were greeted by a friend of luisa which was very nice and really took the time to give us some nice advices to visit the area. The only disadvantage of this place : the bed is hard.... But everything else is perfect so we forget it very quickly !

Since I had become short sick, I could not go. My husband and my daughter but were delighted with the accommodation, everything was ehr clean, with wonderful views from the balcony, surroundings and location were very pleasant. Communication in advance was perfect, just changing my booking from 3 to 2 persons. Should we be back sometime in the Ggend, we would strive again to a hotel.

We had an amazing time in Luisa's house! The view is as amazing as the pictures show and the whole house was very nicely renovated, decorated and clean. Details are also looked after, and it's very nice that so many amenities are available, for example the wide range of kitchen tools. It was also a pleasure to be greeted by Luisa's friend Caterina, who gave us a tour of the house and made us well acquainted with the area by giving us good information about nearby restaurants, boat transportation and the closest supermarket. The Como lake and the surrounding cities were very beautiful and we would definitely recommend both the house as well as the location. Also a plus, is that you can park your car free of cost very closely to the house, since there is a car park only 50 meters away.

We had somebody waiting for us when we arrived, they helped us unpacked and explained about the area. Was lovely to be welcomed so well. The home was lovely and welcoming, the view astounding, and the people in the area friendly. The Bathroom is new and the shower fantastic, I would recommend to stay. If you have issues with stairs be caution as the property is on 3 floors, however the view is so worth it.

It was a great time in Ossuccio. The Luisa's appartement has beautiful view to Lake Como from the last floor of the house. Another convenience is also great location - ideal for activities which are possible to do around the lake. The appartement was clean and comfortable. We were overall satisfied with our stay and we would highly recommend this accomodation!

We had a warm welcome from the host who described very well the neighbourhood and what was there to see / do / Shop around. Flat very clean, very nice view, walking distance from the beach (huge plus). All in all great stay

We had a fantastic stay in Mezzegra directions and communication from Radu were great. Apartment was very well equipped. Lovely pool and 10 minute walk to lake to swim in. Wonderful long weekend in the Italian lakes. Beautiful surroundings and the view from the villa was exceptional. Mezzegra was perfectly located on the left side of the lake, which we found to be the more picturesque side, and it took no more than 45 mins to get to Como by car. We then got the train into Milan for the afternoon, which made a nice change from the peaceful lake-side setting. The villa was in easy reach of all necessary amenities, with a beautiful restaurant and great pizza takeaway shop only a few minutes walk away. The lakeside bars of Lenno also made for a nice change on a couple of evenings when we fancied a drink. The Green Walk is well worth it, especially as the Belvedere apartments are situated right on the route. I would highly recommend this accommodation, it was beautiful inside and very clean too.

We had a lovely stay at the Belvedere, the apartment is very nice and very clean. Our host is very friendly. Mezzegra is great. We enjoyed the pool and the region. Do not hesitate to rent a boat.

The apartment is a good base for visiting Lake Como and is well equipped for a holiday with a very large garage for parking. The views from the balcony & both bedrooms are spectacular and the pool area is nice. The Lenno Ferry Terminal and several bars/restaurants are just a short walk (about 10 to 15 minutes) although it is a very steep. So much so that we decided to drive down and park in the free spaces available along Via Armando Diaz each day. The Market in Lenno on Tuesdays is nice to wander around before getting on the ferry. Radu was very helpful. He provided us with comprehensive driving instructions to reach the apartment and was available by mobile phone for any questions. The bedrooms do not have any wardrobes and care is required to not hit your head on the mansard roof in the bedrooms and upstairs bathroom. I was not careful enough. The apartment was uncomfortably hot during our stay with temperatures around 30C during our stay. I very much liked this new apartment. However, if I were to stay in this area again, I would choose a property with air conditioning.

The house is in a lovely location and has everything you will need during your stay. Also the host themselves make you feeling right and home and are extremely helpful. Cannot stress how helpful the host was. We meet Francesco at the house where he later gave us a tour of the area. Showed us the high lights and where to eat. He even went grocery shopping with us which was a huge help as we do not speak Italian. Everything about our stay was lovely and hopefully we will be able to come back. Also Francesco has a friend who can come to the Shore House and cook. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal especially since the Shore House has such a lovely view.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Shore House. Francesco met us at there to give us entry and had even stocked the fridge with a few basics since we arrived later than expected. He then drove us to dinner and gave us a tour of nearby villages, with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The house itself is very charming and perfect for a couple looking for a quiet retreat. Every morning we awoke to the sun rising over Lake Como and drank coffee on the terrace. We spent a few days locally and drove to St. Moritz on another. We cannot wait to return!

This was for us the perfect place, very quiet and total relaxation, we were late in the season which meant there were not many operating restaurants or activities, we were happy to cook at eat at home but if you wanted to socialize it is out of the way and means a bus trip of 30 mins. As for the house it was perfect for us with the use of the row boat we ventured around the lake. Alessandra would have to be the perfect host, in fact probably the best we have come across, he went out of his way to pick us up from the station, take and wait for us to buy food supplies before driving us up to the house some 30 mins away. his English is perfect and he is such a gentleman and full information ... shops close to house have very limited food supplies, so recommend to stock up before going to house. Caterina the housekeeper also speaks English and you can ring her if you really need something, she will also organise it including transport for you at a much better price than with a taxi. Had a absolutely wonderful holiday at the Shore house. Easy to organise with the owners and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Caterina, who looks after the property is amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area and gave us a tour as soon as we arrived. Also she cooked for us during our stay which was an absolute treat! What more can I say.. Perfect location, perfect accommodation, perfect holiday! Will definitely be going back to visit and would highly recommend to anyone!

ShoreHouse has some of the most spectacular views directly onto Lake Como and overlooking Isola Comacino . What a joy to wake up every morning to sunshine over the lake, sunsets are spectacular as well. Shore House is quite unique , full of rustic charm. I spent many happy days trying to catch the elusive lake fish from the fantastic Shore house rowing boat. I didn't catch any so plenty left in the Lake for future guests to catch. Having off road parking is a huge bonus for this property. I reccomend sensible shoes as the cobbled pathways to and from Villa to village challenging through out the whole of the Como area. Several Excellent restaurants to discover within 10 mins walk. Catarina was extremely helpful on arrival and gave us a tour of the local area before we settled in . Excellent property and great Hosts.

Francesco was THE BEST host of any AirBnB host I have come across. Not only is his lake house in a stunning location, but Francesco went out of his way to take care of his guest, even picking me up one evening 5 miles away when there were no cabs around. This was such a lovely relaxing place to stay for a long weekend. Staying in March the view was of a beautiful misty lake and the appartment was well equipped for a very cosy stay, including a log fire, lots of books, an abundance of national geographic magazines, blankets and old British movies on VHS. We rowed across to the island and rowed to the nearby villa which would not be possible in the summer due to entrance to the villa being too busy. I was a little unwell with pregnancy sickness whilst there but this was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This Shore House is one of the most favourite places that we stayed on our 5 week Italy Trip. It is a must for your itinerary. Francesco was the best host we met and picked us up and took us to the supermarket and waited for us, he gave us a wonderful private tour and provide information about best places to go and best places to eat etc. The house was so cosy and had had an excellent position right on the lake with views that take your breath away. Sala Comacina and nearby surrounding areas are beautiful to walk on the greenway paths and a perfect place to base yourself in this area to visit other areas. Would highly recommend

Lovely accommodation even if it is arranged over 4 floors. Very clean and well located. The reception was very good and we had very good advice visits and ballads.

Lots to see and do in the immediate vicinity- including the best and cheapest gelato. Elisa and Tommy were very helpful when giving advice. If catching the bus from Como allow about an hour in the late afternoon due to heavy traffic. There was pasta and sauce if needed for a late dinner if required. Great hosts.

A very warm welcome, all the advice you need to visit the surroundings, a spacious apartment, ideal with children, all the necessary materials available and some nice games !!! The place is ideal for visiting the area, conveniently located on the way "Greenway" along the lake to visit the area. Pocket of a good restaurant and a supermarket. The only downside is the road next to the apartment, but the night we were able to sleep with windows open easily.

We have been to Ossuccio on the occasion of the festival of St. John. The apartment 'very nice, spacious, refurbished from the hand of an architect. All very functional and clean. strategic position to easily reach the shore, where we watched the fireworks display.

Modern, amazingly clean and comfortable home, literally a few steps away from Lake Como! Although we spent a short time with our hosts, they made us feel welcome and ensured we had no issues whatsoever. Would love to return in the summer. Thanks for everything

Elisa was extremely accommodating and flexible with us which made the whole process so easy for us. Communication was quick and she was very friendly and professional throughout the whole process - thank you Elisa! The flat was especially perfectly situated for us as we had a wedding to go to at the Villa Monastero which was a two minute walk.

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was very clean and spacious. With three balconies and plenty of chairs we were able to enjoy a great views and the outdoors. The location right on the Green Way was ideal. Everything's within walking distance including a small free beach which we visited every morning for a swim. Thank you Elisa and Tommy!

The flat and location are as described. Elisa and her husband Tommy were very helpful and friendly, she even brought us some homegrown vegetables. The area is fantastic, as well as for hiking as for swimming. We would definitely go back.

We had a pleasant stay at Corrado's house. Check in and check out was very uncomplicated, though we were a bit late due to traffic jam. The house is designed very comfortably and it's clean. The kitchen is absolutely great and contains everything you could possibly need for cooking including some spices and coffee re both helpful and very friendly! Thanks to you both!!

We had a great holiday in the apartment. Great view, clean apartment, service and consultation worked great. You can rest easy, you can hear almost nothing from the Straße.Die area is great for hiking and exploring. I can only recommend.

We stayed in the apartement for 4 nights. The view from the balcony is absolutley amazing! it definetly upscaled our trip. The place was well equiped and very comfortable. You should be aware that the amount of steps to the apartment can be challenging for these who have disabilities or traveling with a little baby. Also, since it is located on a road with no sidewalk and there is nothing close to the apartement by walk you must have a car to get a long. Bottom line, IMO, very recommended for a couple traveling with a car, more challenging for those traveling with kids.

The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The view of the lake is both from the apartment and from the garden an absolute highlight! If you have each the great view of the countryside and the sea during breakfast or in the evening in the Loggia, the holiday is pure! The support and advice of Sara are very helpful. She gave us very friendly and nice support all the time on every request.

Sara was a very good hostess. They picked us up and escorted to the wonderful apartment, always stood us with words and deeds aside and allows us a great holiday. The communication before and during our stay was very friendly and helpful. Sara is a wonderful hostess and her home is very beautiful, very tastefully decorated and offers a great view. Just an early breakfast at sunrise over the lake is a great experience. We will come back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in Sara's apartment. The view is magnificent! The house is traditional and homey with a modern bathroom. The location is perfect. We walked the Greenway, and rented a boat in Lenno. During our stay, the beautiful days gave way to rainy afternoons -- perfect for curling up with a good book and a glass of wine in the sunroom and watching the weather over the lake. Sara is a lovely host. We arrived late after a mixup, and she cheerfully drove me to the market and back so I wouldn't miss the closing time. We loved this place, and would come back again!

Sara's apartment is beautiful. The views over Lake Como are breathtaking and it's the perfect place to relax. It is a spacious and comfortable apartment. We didn't want to leave and hope to return soon. It's in a quiet location but within a reasonable walk (or short drive) from restaurants and shops. Thank you very much.

We spent our first holiday with our 9 month old daughter in the apartment of Sara. It was perfect. Our daughter could rumkrabbeln everywhere, even in the beautiful garden on the lawn. And we were able to relax in the garden while she held her nap. The apartment is large and has a modern bathroom with shower. She has everything it needs, except a washing machine and a dishwasher. But it has so many restaurants in the area ... The view from the apartment and from the garden to the lake is fantastic. A supermarket and bakery are only 10 minutes walk away (down 7 Minutes, high 12 minutes). Lenno and Menaggio have beautiful lakeside promenades, Lenno excellent Gelateria. We took the cot and the high chair itself. The car park is a few steps from the house, shipshape. The apartment is quiet. Sara is a very warm and attentive hostess. She has provided us everything shown and explained and special for our daughter things. And spoiled us with fresh strawberries. Thank you Sara, we will keep this holiday very good memories!

Maria's place was a lovely apartment with a fantastic balcony view. She met us at a nearby bus stop and escorted us to her place to see that we got settled in nicely. We had a lovely time exploring lake como using the Greenway which runs right by her place. However if you do not want to walk I would recommend staying in one of the larger towns nearby. For those that don't mind, Maria's place is where to go.

A very nice apartment with a wonderful view over the lake, situated directly at the Greenway route. The apartment has really everything that you might need. The bed is very comfortable and big. Internet connection is good and fast. Nice hosts. We would come back again.

We had such a great stay. The view was magnificent and the location was tucked away from the tourists so was super relaxing. Very accessible to the green path which is a lovely walking trail for some great views! The apartment has absolutely everything you need and was very clean and comfortable. Maria's place is great and very much worth a visit if your looking for an inexpensive , small and secluded place on the edge of the spectacular Lake Como. The flat is exactly what is pictured, a very comfy bed and more than enough space for a couple to enjoy fully. I would recommend having your own mode of transport to visit this apartment as the buses and boats stop at 7pm so no real possibility of a nightlife without your own car, boat or scooter. Maria could not have been a better host being in constant communication when needed and catered for us in every way possible going to the extreme which was great. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Maria's flat and would recommend it to anybody.

Our experience at Maria Rosa's place was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome and thoroughly explained where to find the needed items or how to operate the appliances. Her book of instructions was very useful for the house and the nearby attractions. The house is very clean and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Maria also provides a garage, so do yourself a favor and rent a small car to get to ferries, restaurants and supermarkets.

Wonderful stay! Transportation is required to fully enjoy the amazing scenery and life around the lake.

Maria Rosa and her family were very nice, welcoming and helpful when we had special needs. They live very close to the appartment. The appartment has two floors plus a basement. The view from all the rooms is magnificent over the Como lake and surrounding mountains. There is a little noise from the street, but not much since the appartment is quite high over it. There is a very nice beach directly below the appartment. No shopping and only a single restaurant, but a very nice and calm atmosphere with just a few tourists (like us).
