The so-called Kossätenhof is the only listed private building in Rühstädt with a residential building, former stables and a barn. On the barn, 2 pairs of storks with 3 young storks are currently nesting (June 2025)! Places with historic city centers such as Perleberg are easily accessible.

The special thing about this house is the building materials. Only natural building materials such as wood, clay, lime, brick, hemp lime insulation and lime terrazzo floors were used. Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
