The room is cosy but snug, and extremely comfortable. If you have any class, ie. you pay any attention to films or musicals, then you'll get along great with Steve as well.

Steve was very nice and waited up for me when I was late getting to his place. He was very talkative and it showed that he wanted to have a connection. There were a few issues with the shower, he did his best to solve them right away.

This was such a fantastic experience. We've never airbnb'd before and am now worried our expectations are set too high for next time! Julie was there to meet us when we arrived, showed us round the spotless apartment - there was even milk and breakfast laid out for the following morning, everything was immaculate and neat and tidy. It made such a difference having somewhere like that to relax either side of the wedding we were attending. Very thankful.

From arrival Julie was a great host, the provisions in the accommodation were much more than we expected and Julie and her husband couldn't have been more helpful. With work we stay in numerous different types of accommodation from flats to hotels to bed and breakfasts. Julies place is by far the nicest we have stayed in. The accommodation is brand new and very well laid out and you couldn't have asked for any more, it is a fantastically equipped self contained flat. Wonderfully clean and well equipt property. I stayed with my Mum and needed the 2 beds - the sofa bed was very comfy. My Satnav gave the wrong location so worth taking a mental note from (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps before you leave. Everything you could need for a short stay. Would stay again if in Yorkshire.

A lovely little flat, perfectly contained with everything you need and lots of things you might need. The bed and sofa are extremely comfortable! And the hosts were very helpful, staying up for us to arrive late, then acting as a taxi service for us which was much appreciated!

Comfortable room, very quiet area, lovely calm feel to the house and although I only met Sally late on the night I arrived, she was really helpful and interesting to talk to. Perfect base for my week of work locally.

Sally made us extremely welcome into her home. Her directions for getting here were detailed and comprehensive. Although we didn't get to spend much time with her during the first 3 nights of our 4 night stay because of the demands of the amazingly successful Leadership Development Intensive course we were attending nearby (check out LDI in Methley, Yorkshire - based on John Scherer's book The Five Questions), Sally invited us to have dinner with her on our final night here. Sally cooked an utterly delicious South Indian meal and we sat together with her friend and another Airbnb guest sharing stories of travel and community development, spirituality and life experiences. Thank you Sally for your loving and open approach. If anyone is looking for accommodation in a quiet environment coupled with delicious food and really interesting conversation I cannot recommend Sally's place highly enough!

Sally is a great host and I wish we could spend more time together. The house has amazing atmosphere, especially Sally's spacious and cozy kitchen. We felt very welcome and well looked after, I especially appreciated a bookshelf full of good books. It's been a nice experience and I would definitely recommend Sally's place.

We arrived to a warm and helpful welcome, there was lots of options for breakfast provided which kept us going for all 5 days that we stayed along with milk and juices provided. The place itself was beautiful, a great size, modern and spotless with easy travel links in to Leeds. A great host and a great place, if me and my partner are back in Leeds we’ll definitely be coming back here, we can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Cath's place was as described, it is comfortable, clean and welcoming. The decor is lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Cath is a very welcoming host and we loved the little breakfast offerings of muffins, fresh bread and croissants.

Cath provided a first rate service and was very accommodating- I am again staying for another week while working locally, such was the facility and welcome.

This was a really lovely place to stay. It was very well presented, very cosy, with some nice touches. I was staying with work, and I'll be back soon!

Lovely little lodge for two people to stay in. Was made to feel more than welcome. The location and access from the motorway is brilliant plus there's parking off the street. The breakfast is also a great touch with a great selection. Cath really went above and beyond for us at short notice she was a fantastic host. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Sally was very efficient with check in, I didn't spend a lot of time at the house as I was working but was perfect with what I needed!

Wonderful quiet neighbourhood near RSPB Bord Sanctuary. Abit far from Castleford town centre but ok with a bicycle or if you drive. Sally is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

The house is large and only a couple of miles from Castleford centre. Its a little difficult to find and the path isn't well lit (that's being addressed soon). Sally is very welcoming and it's a warm atmosphere. It's a tranquil, relaxing house and I didn't miss not having a TV. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This was my second stay with Sally and she was as pleasant and helpful as previously. I was even able to buy an evening meal on one occasion at a very reasonable cost. Turning a car around outside the house is quite difficult, especially for larger cars.

It was a warm welcome by Sally...I had a good time over there.... Sally did helped me finding the house and also shown around the house facilities and the breakfast was free.... She had good collection of books, Tea, coffee etc. (URL HIDDEN) was very good

Perfect for what we needed. Came up with three friends as I wanted to take them on a night out in Leeds. Hannah's place was warm and comfortable and had enough space for all of us. Check-in and out was easy and convenient and Hannah was available to answer any queries by phone. Uber into Leeds was less than £10 and even at 06:30 on the way home it was only £21. Can't ask for more than that!!

Vicky was by far the best host I have ever had, me and a friend stayed there one night, unfortunately we didn't met Vicky but everything was ready for us, best hospitality! don't even get that kind of hospitality at home in Australia! Highly recommend to stay here!:)

Vicky provided a real effort in making me feel comfortable in her home and this was really appreciated. The house is bright and clean with a pleasant atmosphere, spacious rooms and a nice bathroom.

This is a very good place to stay and Vicky thinks of and provides practically everything you reasonably need. Easy access to Leeds, Pontefract, Nostell Priory (National Trust) and a very good RSPB Nature Reserve (open to all).

A lovely place to stay. Susie was very welcoming upon arrival and we chatted over a tea for a while before being shown to the lovely double bedroom. The property is large, clean and clearly well looked after. The highlight of the stay was meeting Susie's husband Kalsang who is also very friendly and chatty and I enjoyed hearing stories of his Sherpa walking tours. Highly recommended. Thanks Susie

Joyce & Dave's place must be the nicest and most comfortable Airbnb I have ever stayed with. The annex is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and a huge amount of attention to detail with regards to how it's been kitted out to the soft furnishings. Both Joyce & Dave were hugely accommodating and their place definitely became a home-away-from-home. I wouldn't hesitate booking with them again when I am next in the area on business as the annex provide me with the perfect amount of comfort and luxury whilst away on business!

Joyce and Dave picked us up and showed us around the town. Their place is lovely and comfortable, especially with tons of food they have provided. And we had so many lovely chats together as well.

I didn't get to meet Donna but she had great communication leading up to the stay which made it really easy and she was fine with my late arrival. The bed is suitable for a smaller person which was fine for me but worth knowing if you're over 6 ft!

Great place for an overnight and lovely people. The bed however appeared to have been slept in-given the rest of the place was spotless I assume this was an oversight.

We stayed here to watch ben & alex haenow at party in hawhill park we travelled from wigan and stayes for the weekend. The house is lovely very clean spacious. Lovely view of the park. I was met by Mohammed, Sofina's brother, with a smile and offer of help and advice whenever I needed it. This was much appreciated as I had never been to this part of the country before. My room was quite large, 2 single beds (I was there alone), TV, en suite shower room which was clean and absolutely fine for my needs. There is also a bar and restaurant downstairs and the food was very good, and there was no noise from the bar so that was good as well. Overall, I felt that this was great value for someone like me who had quite basic needs, and I would recommend.

My plans changed last min and I didn't get to stay in the end, but my host was helpful and nice throughout the booking process and communication about my booking was quick and really clear. The room I had booked was also extremely good value for money. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay.

The man who greeted us was friendly and helpful. The bed linen seemed clean but old and thin. There was a damp/musty smell in the room and throughout the building that led to me having an allergy attack as I am very allergic to dust. I believe it was in the carpet. Sorry to say but we decided to leave and go elsewhere.
