Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Private loft apartment on 25 wooded acres, sits separate from main farm house. Private deck overlooking the woods. Everything you need for a cozy stay. Located on the edge of the Blue Ridge Escarpment with lakes Jocassee and Keowee just a few miles away. Numerous state parks, hiking, biking , waterfalls and kayaking or just peace and quiet. We are a sustainable homestead with an organic garden, chickens ,quail, dogs and cats. Our water comes from a natural spring.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We ask you to not bring pets due to allergies. We are 4 miles from Fall Creek Landing on Lake Keowee and 8 miles from Lake Jocassee Devils Fork StatePark. The bed is comfortable and the futon is also great for that extra person or children. Enjoy nature with family and friends and relax at our charming farm house sitting on 7 acres of peaceful pastures. We have been renovating this 100 year old farm house and invite you to come and enjoy the scenery. All rooms have been updated. Starlink internet available for guests. Lake Jocassee and Keowee are 2-3 miles away and provide access to boating and more. Chickens may occasionally roam the property. In case of concerns please let us know.
