This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. The apartment is situated on the cliff top of North Bay, with a lovely sea view. A 20 second walk brings you to the cliff top benches where you can sit and take in the stunning view of the bay and the castle. We are a 5min walk from the beach and 10min to the town centre. It’s on the ground floor of our 5 storey Victorian terrace family home. It is separate from the rest of the house so you’ll have full privacy. There’s plenty of space and the location is amazing!

Hi, Ramsdale Lodge Annex is a self contained spacious studio apartment attached to the main house with its own private entrance. We are conveniently situated just a 10 minute walk to the South Bay beach, and a 10 minute walk into town. We have on street parking available outside the property with parking permits provided free of charge. Just to point out there are some quite steep steps to the front of the house.
