Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Charles

A beautifully, tastefully remodeled older home very close to downtown, Main St, Katy Trail and the Missouri River. This home has a modern kitchen and bathrooms while still maintaining the aesthetics and charm of an early 20th century home. Everything was well appointed: Plenty of dishes, utensils, towels and bath and kitchen amenities. Living room had lots of comfy couches with recliners and a large flat screen. Huge dining table, perfect for large groups. Backyard was immaculate. Host went out of their way to accommodate us. We've stayed in several places in St. Charles, this is, by far, the best, hands down.

What a soothing botanical oasis in South City: a comfortable blend of vintage and contemporary--everything I needed was supplied. The indoor garden was a welcome bonus; beautiful plants placed throughtout the space put me at ease the moment I stepped inside. David was a responsive and accommodating host, the guest house description was accurate, and the chocolates on the nightstands were a charming touch

We had a wonderful stay! The host went above and beyond with thoughtful little touches—like a handwritten note and cookies from a local shop, which made us feel instantly welcomed. The space was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Everything was easy to access and use, and the location was in a great neighborhood with plenty to do nearby. We also appreciated the board games and local recommendations—it showed real care and attention to detail.

Perfect place to treat the moms in our family to a much needed rest and relaxation staycation. Beautiful home with even more beautiful surroundings. Although there is no reserved parking, finding a space out front was a breeze. Hosts provided all needed information and the manual provided even more.

Connie’s place was great! We loved how spacious and clean everything was. Cardinals game was only a 30min drive away. Neighborhood and St Charles in general also seem very nice.

Went for a “girls getaway” in the St. Charles area. John was great at giving food recommendations and was always more than willing to facilitate us in every way. House was clean and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the time on the screened in back porch.

Matt’s place was home away from home, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back

Anna’s place was great, awesome location and so close to everything. Stayed here with our 5-yr old and 4-mo old, super easy and convenient. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Caitlin’s place. It is a nice, cozy and quiet spot. It was also very clean and well stocked. I’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting St. Louis.

another wonderful stay!! this is my third stay at Elbert house and my first stay with hubby and two grandchildren. Elizabeth was as helpful, warm and accommodating to our group as she has been on my past solo stays. All the extra little touches, the walkable location and the coziness of the space add up to a great stay and the price is a serious value compared to other options in the area. highly recommend!

Stayed here with my boyfriend over a weekend. Neighborhood is great. Quite a few walkable bars and restaurants. Place itself is comfortable and cozy. Adam was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

This was a great homebase for our St. Louis trip. It was clean and had the kitchen items needed to make our meals when we were not eating out.

Really nice and cool host if you needed something he was on top of it really nice and convenient spot in town nothing was to far away road side parking was great most definitely would recommend to people and or stay again!!!

John's place was good for our 2 nights in St. Louis. We were able to walk to a coffee shop at the corner for breakfast on our first morning there. A tornado hit the area on our 2nd day so we were not able to stay. John offered to reimburse us for the second night. Good host, good location.

Our stay was very comfortable! We had no problems checking in, the home was well-appointed and well-maintained, and we loved the location on the Loop. Very glad we stayed!

Very nice place. Close to many outstanding St. Louis City parks and eateries. Close to Walmart, Target and grocery stores. Connor right on it if you need help with directions or finding resources.

Danny was great host, very responsive. Location was near Lafayette Square, which we wanted. Easy check in and out, will use again!!
