The nest

Once called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's hut served as a kitchen and dining room. It was there that the milk was transformed into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbors ,and where social life was tied up.Tools,seeds, harvests ,were also stored in the arbec. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a sense of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

This apartment is made of reclaimed and revalued wood, between a small climbing room, brazier, cozy pergola, and rooms that are all more unique than the others. You will be in a cocoon to disconnect and feel sheltered in the middle, overlooking the two peaks of the Palu and Piagu, you can have a good coffee with the first glimmers of the sun, a little climbing and relax in the lounge area!

Ideally located, 5 minutes from the spa town of Berthemont-les-Bains, and about twenty minutes from the various departures to the Mercantour Park: Gordolasque, Boréon and Madone des Fenestres valleys.

The apartment ,Ground floor of the chalet,is located in a quiet residential area with panoramic views of the Mercantour three kilometers from the center of the beautiful village of Saint Martin Vésubie.La Colmiane and Le Boréon, are 10 minutes by car. I live on site and therefore am very available to guests.
