17-19th century Watermill in the wild Tarn Valley!

AlexanderRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The enchanting photos in the advertisement are greatly surpassed by reality. The expectations of a perfect hotel are not met. It really is an old mill, awakened from its slumber and carefully renovated. Nothing is perfect, but everything is, as far as the lush nature makes it possible, authentic and practical. We immediately felt at home for the week. The kitchen is well stocked, which is important because shopping nearby is not so easy and good restaurants are a few kilometers away. We were able to cook well and did not miss anything. In St. Affrique and Rodez, we found great weekly markets, direct from the producer and a cheerful atmosphere. Noel was easily accessible and helpful. Access to the property is for good drivers and small cars, it is recommended to park up in the village. Noel is also super helpful there. Thank you!

Domaine de Linars ☆ The Castle Floor ☆

EmmanuelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
For our first stay in a castle, it was an excellent experience. This is due to the location, which perfectly matches the photos, but especially thanks to Joseph, our host, who was extremely available. He took the time when we arrived to give us plenty of recommendations that delighted the whole family unanimously. He also organized a visit to the castle "from the cellar to the attic" rich in information and anecdotes. Hats off for this welcome.

charming cottage "le sécadou" ideal for hiking and bread

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Emilie is a kind and friendly lady. Speaks English. Generous showed how she makes sourdough bread and gave us a loaf fresh out of the oven still warm. Delicious. Also some pate and conserve she had made. Beautiful place we saw a deer a wild pig and walked miles up and down the gorge. We loved it.
