We invite you to stay in our mountain-modern home blocks from downtown Salida. Our home is clean, bright, and features awesome mountain views. There is a good balance of common space and bedrooms (4) so y'all can gather together, but also have privacy. The kitchen has tons of counter space and plenty of coffee cups and wine glasses. Strong wifi with over 100 mbps, too! Soak up some sun on the rooftop deck; store your toys in the garage. You're invited to make yourself at home here! (STR #0460)

The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

Our home is nestled on a hillside behind Salida's famous S Mountain, just over a mile from downtown. Hundreds of miles of mountain biking and hiking trails sprawl across these gorgeous hills. We have outfitted our home to reflect our modern tastes and to accommodate all the creature comforts we enjoy on vacation. Large windows and two patios make sure you've got plenty of access to Colorado sunshine and spectacular mountain views. Three spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms. No pets.

Built-in 2015, it's featured in the "Small House Book" by Lloyd Kahn. It's clean and modern yet warm and cozy. One bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds (AC in bedrooms). The main living space has a garage door that opens to the back patio. It's a hop, skip, and a jump from all you need, from biking and hiking trails, restaurants, shops, the playground, the amphitheater, and the river. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.
