Beachfront holiday rentals in San Francisco Bay Area

My family enjoyed our weekend trip to the lake! We enjoyed being in the backyard and brought our paddleboard to enjoy the lake! My husband did some fishing and we stayed in most of the time. Would definitely come again!

We had a lovely time at Yan Fang’s place, the location was perfect - we walked to the beach almost every day! It was also convenient to have the Muni metro stop right at the end of the street, we rode the Muni all over town (inexpensive and easy!). The house was clean and comfortable and Yan Fang included extra snacks and kitchen items for us, which was nice. We loved our time here and would recommend.

We absolutely loved our time here. Everything was so well taken care of inside their home and you simply cannot beat the view. It's stunning. We appreciated the dog -friendliness and wonderful location as well.

The sunsets were beautiful. The spa was hot. And the lake was peaceful. Thank you for sharing your sweet cottage.

April’s place is one of the best Airbnb places I’ve stayed at. Her place was gorgeous—the photos don’t do it justice! It was pristine and had all the amenities she mentioned. April was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Overall it was such a pleasurable stay. April, thank you again for hosting us!

Wonderful location right on the beach. Easy access down to the water too. Local restaurant on the street was perfect for laid back dining with good options. Half Moon Bay is a must visit town! Great host and we’ll be staying here anytime we’re in the Bay Area.

This is a great place to stay! The house was so clean..beautiful views..we saw a whale from the family room. Very hospitable, Bernardine was easy to communicate with. Our family cannot wait to return!

Watching multiple species of raptor patrol the banks of the Russian River was awe-inspiring

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

Stunning place with ample space for a family of 4. Even enough space if a family wanted to bring grandparents as well to share. Prime location, central to the resort. Walkable to the pool, hot tub, playground, restaurants and a quick golf cart ride to the beach. Full ocean view from both balconies and loved falling asleep to the ocean. Sandy path right outside walkable but not good for scooters. Wish we had known this. Clean place with only a tad bit of sand when we checked in on the ground. Full kitchen and a huge closet to store all the beach chairs, towels, sand toys etc. Kind of wish they gave us more than 2 pool towels though. Wonderful stay for our anniversary and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Everything was just as described, and we would stay here again! Thank you, Sue!

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

Location was amazing! The walk to the beach was awesome. Super quick and beautiful, we went to the beach every day for sunrises and sunsets. Check in and check out was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and fun place to stay! Completely private but walkable for espresso, ice cream, etc. The bed was very comfortable, fabulous kitchen, views to die for and squeaky clean everywhere. The hot tub was an extra bonus. We can’t wait to come back this Fall! Thank you!

The copper nest was a great place to stay for our long weekend trip. It was ideally situated 30mins drive from UCSC. The beach house exceeded our expectations, and comfortably accommodated 8 guests. All aspects had been thought about by the host, from the detailed text messages pre arrival through to the prevision of supplies, saving the immediate necessity to go basic food shopping. The house was pleasantly furnished with high end product and the beds were so comfortable. The state beach (only foot steps away) was so peaceful, with barely a sole on this stretch. Both hosts were responsive to any issues or questions. Thank you

My team had a wonderful time at Stefan's place! The ocean views are magical and the house is very spacious. Incredible spot about an hour away from SF and Palo Alto. Stefan was very communicative and friendly. Check-in and check-out were simple. Very clear house rules. No complaints at all! We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deja Blu. The location is perfection! Private, with beautiful gardens, only a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night was divine. The home was clean and comfortable, and Barr was a lovely, helpful host. If you are looking to unwind in serenity, I highly recommend this home.

What a peaceful retreat and a wonderful host! We have stayed on Richmond Point several times while visiting our daughter at Cal and it never disappoints. The view from here is incredible! And Vivien’s place is just perfect. You have the entire lower level to yourself, with your own private deck literally on top of the Bay, with views of the city and both the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge. It’s a great location to get to Cal, to S.F. or wine country. And Vivien is the perfect host—welcoming but not intrusive, and just simply delightful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and I couldn't have found a better spot to get away to. It was such a cozy and peaceful location, and Aaron's home had everything we could ever need during our stay. The views were incredible, and the weather was fantastic. Aaron provided an extremely detailed guide to the area that helped us get a feel for where to go and what to do, and we hope to come back someday and stay again to experience more of the beauty of the surrounding area!

We stayed here for a few days in June. So it was a little chilly and windy. The place was so private and peaceful though we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Walking on the beach, collecting shells when the sun was up and meeting some of the wonderful neighbors there. One of the first things I notice when I am out, is the cleanliness. This place was so clean, it almost felt like home. From the bedroom to the bathroom to the kitchen and living room. All the little things that were there to make our stay memorable. I also loved the communication with the host. Prior to our arrival and throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. She was quick to respond to what we needed. We will definitely consider staying there if we take another trip up that way.
