The Olives' Terrace a apartment forming part of an ancient Villa dating 1500 in the charming village of Benabbio set amid olive groves and chestnut woods, a few km from Bagni di Lucca, which is renowned for its thermal waters and the old Casino.
“It was a journey to a special place for us. The small village of Benabbio on a hill above Bagni di Lucca already has a very special charm, as does Villa Olivi with its enchanting garden. The apartment is on the ground floor of the villa, which is inhabited by Maria Elena's nice family. The view from the terrace was really unique and made every breakfast something special. But not only the view, Maria Elena's homemade jam, honey and fresh figs and pears from the garden and, last but not least, the loving nature of the hostess make us think of this stay for a long time.”
The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax).
“We spent a wonderful week at Elisa’s home. As it was written by some other guests, the roads might be a bit tricky with the curvy and narrow bends, but once you’ll arrive you will see that it worth it!!! The apartment is just charming, as well as garden and wonderful view, and has everything we needed. Also Elisa, Matteo and their family were very friendly and helpful! We had a feeling that we surrounded by friends! They give us some great tips and recommendations on places worth to visit. Our dog Kon-Tiki was very happy to play with Zelda (Elisa’s family dog). And last, but not least, all the main places we wanted to reach from this location was just great. We managed to visit Pisa, Florence, Lucca, La Spezia - Cinque Terre and also different beaches. To sum up: MUST VISIT! P.S. On our last days Elisa and Matteo were finishing the pool construction next to the house. Also try to visit flower market! (Be ready to get up really early) It is the second biggest flower market in the world! Viktor & Anastasia”
