The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house something very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the grills chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the wonderful stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Elena’s place in Lake Como! The view was absolutely breathtaking – even better than we expected – and the peaceful location made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and Elena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

Wonderful apartment in Colonno!! I recommend renting a car since it is far from downtown Como and the bus only runs on the weekend, but the view is worth it! Our local contact Cinzia was extremely helpful, friendly and provided lots of great local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was super helpful and nice. The stay was pleasant I would only recommend that you take a car as it can be difficult to get around on foot.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Escape. Innocenta and Fabio were very generous and hospitable. They picked us up from the bus station and gave us local recommendations. The place is clean and the AC works well in the bedroom. The location is incredible and you really can’t beat the views for the price. Varenna is a beautiful city, Innocenta and Fabio make it feel like home. Hopefully we will be back!

We had the best time at the lake house! Everything was great and we loved swimming in the lake right after waking up or just whenever we felt like it! Maria is super nice and quickly responded to our messages.

Absolutely stunning place! One of those rare cases when the place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Every detail is charming, and we especially loved the honey made by Gloria’s family. The authenticity of the house and its surroundings is perfectly balanced with comfort — you feel both inspired and at home. Palanzo isn’t the easiest place to reach without a car, but Gloria helped us arrange a transfer and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Picturesque setting! Villa felt like home!

Amazing house in the middle of a paradise! We loved every second of our weekend and would recommend this place if you want to relax and recharge from the chaos of the everyday life. The house was clean and has everything you need.

This is a great location n Bellagio - be sure to take a taxi if you have luggage. It has amazing views, it's in a quiet location, it's walkable to downtown. The apartment is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen and bath were well stocked. The bed is comfortable and cozy and we slept really well. We loved it here and would stay again.

The accommodation was really beautiful and partly really cutely furnished. Communication with the host worked out great. However, you should be aware that the path to the accommodation deviates greatly from a normal road. You drive about 20 minutes on very challenging roads. Those who love nature will be rewarded with absolute peace and a dreamlike environment.

For us, Casa Berta was the perfect accommodation! We spent one day each in Bellagio and Como - and were very happy to leave the crowds (late May!) behind us and live in such a quiet, charming mountain village. We imagined the road up to be worse from the reviews - thank God there is not much traffic up here. Nevertheless, we preferred the bus, which actually always ran reliably (except on Sundays, when it generally does not run). The Casa itself is really adorable. Everything as in the photos. Very comfortable bed and head cushion. Also the shower with good water pressure (normally I don't like shower curtains, but the shower is large enough that the curtain, which is not made of plastic, does not stick to the body). The terrace is also great, we spent a lot of time here. It would be perfect if there was also reception on the terrace, for example, to stream music or plan the next day.

The house was absolutely stunning, even better than the pictures!! The view is breathtaking and we couldn’t get enough. Maria and her husband are extremely welcoming and very communicative, the perfect hosts!! We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. The house comes with all amenities and a huge beautiful garden. We will definitely be back! :)

Absolutely loved staying here!!! The home is almost as gorgeous as the view from the balconies! The ONLY problem is if you have rolling luggage the stairs from the c30 bus are pretty steep and small all through out Nesso. Definitely would recommend the c32 bus
