Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sandusky

Wow! This unique stay was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed for our visit to Amherst! The quaint downtown with ample restaurants was an easy walk. The home had a quirky, appealing layout, with plenty of space and a TON of beautiful plants and comfortable furniture. Easy check in, no issues whatsoever. I'd highly recommend!

We had a great time at the round house! Jeff was super responsive and friendly! The house had everything we needed. We traveled with young kids and they especially loved the heated pool!

The house was spacious, clean and well maintained. Very hospitable when it comes to drinks and condiments for a one night stay for guys. Definitely recommend staying again!! Thank you for everything.

Excellent house and amazing hosts! For my family it is very special: it was the first place we stayed in Ohio when we brought our daughter to college. The wonderful, very friendly owner of the house, Rob allowed us to bring our cat with us and we had a perfect restful time by the lake, watching amazing sunsets and meeting bright sunrises.Four years later, our daughter graduated from college, and we, of course, again chose Rob's house to stay and celebrate in. The house has a delightful atmosphere. I love the little dinette right next to the kitchen — it is so cozy to have breakfast there. Dinners in the living room, by the huge windows looking out onto the lake, were an absolute feast for the soul. Everything is very well thought out in the house, the needs of guests are anticipated by the large amounts of extra bedding and towels.The beds are comfortable. Thank you so much, Rob, for your hospitality,diligence and willingness in making sure that guest’s visits are always enjoyable

I can honestly say this is the best Airbnb I've been to yet. For starters, the host was communicative while still giving us plenty of space to our own- I liked that. He accommodated my last minute, early check in request. Though there was a lot of through traffic it still felt peaceful and felt like we belonged. There is a train not too far from the house which we really enjoyed, not too loud just enough to give it some liveliness. Though the house seemed small at first it actually felt perfectly spacious for two people and a dog and it was relatively clean- definitely more clean than other places I've stayed. The yard stole our hearts- it just felt like a world of it's own. Lots of pretty flowers. We had a bonfire and just admired the stars which were a lot more visible than back at home. The neighborhood is very walkable. it's a dog friendly neighborhood without that stuck up or nosy feel. We walked our dog to the lighthouse which was perfect. Thanks Kory and team! We'll be back lol

Our stay at Gilmore Manor was truly unforgettable. The house was the perfect backdrop for our French-themed girls’ weekend, and it brought us right back to our days of living together in our sorority—getting ready together, sharing stories, and laughing late into the night. Every room was filled with charm and intention. We especially loved using the beautiful dishes and cups, which made each meal feel special. The spacious dining room allowed all 13 of us to gather comfortably, creating such a warm, communal atmosphere. While the price is on the higher side, being able to split it between a group made it manageable—and honestly, you get so much in return. The care, character, and attention to detail in this home are unmatched. You can truly feel the love poured into it. It’s a magical place, and we feel so lucky to have been part of its story. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, inspiring place to stay and connect with others.

This stay worked out really well for my wife and me as it was well positioned for seeing the island areas around Port Clinton. There was a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Since it was right in the middle of down town it got a bit lively outside on a weekend evening but that did not go on too long so sleeping was not a problem. Overall we had plenty of space, really complete kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable and all was extremely clean and well kept.

A cozy condo right on Portage river with a beautiful view. The home was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. My kids enjoyed the pool, the hot tub looked nice, though we did not try it. They have all the necessities at the condo (even the beach towels!), and the kitchen is well-equipped. Jeff & Kerri responded to all of our messages very quickly, and provided some great suggestions, they are super friendly hosts! The location is also great - just a short walk to Jet Express, Coffee Express, and Lake Erie. The Waterworks Park nearby was amazing for a picnic, bird watching, sunset on the lake, and the view of the lighthouse.

My stay at Victorian Inn was wonderful. My accommodations were very clean, well appointed, and spacious. I stayed with my little dog and three grandchildren. They were also delighted. The breakfast was delicious and the ladies who cooked and served were delightful. They were also very accommodating of some dietary restrictions.

We absolutely loved this condo! It's a beautifully appointed space with a truly serene atmosphere and picturesque harbor views. If you're bringing a boat, the on-site docks are incredibly convenient. Just a heads-up: this unit is on the third floor and doesn't have an elevator. The pool looked sparkling and inviting, though it wasn't yet open for the season during our visit. The location is ideal, putting you right near all the best activities and dining options. Our only minor critique is that the bar and table stools were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to truly relax and enjoy longer conversations or card games in that area.

We had a great stay during our weekend up at Port Clinton. The condo is in great location within walking distance to most everything. A great sunset view from the deck made my weekend complete!

Galen is an amazingly responsive host--I had a couple of questions and he answered them within minutes. His place is about 1.5 miles from Oberlin's campus. It's not luxurious, but I think it shows much better than the photos! It had everything we needed and was clean.
