Surrounded by forested hills and fields, this is a perfect location for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The area is famous for its bike paths, numerous hiking trails, birdwatching and historical landmarks. We also live on the property, in the small detached house. The surrounding area is shared with our family as we attend our vegetable gardens and care for the animals. Parties and events with loud music and excessive alcohol are strictly forbidden, as it is not suited or acceptable.

Mountain cabin

El Refugio del Sol is a cozy stone and wood chalet, with a recently completed high-quality comprehensive renovation, unique in the Pyrenees for being in the middle of the mountain, within the La Molina domain. This building is part of an old Catalan farmhouse dating back to the early 15th century. It has been renovated in several phases, the last one in 2018. Taking advantage of the perimeter of the main house, the renovation has resulted in an apartment attached to a swimming pool and an attached two-story house. The house and garden complex, plus the surrounding forest, could be defined as a combination of medieval civil architecture, updated with modern materials and design details.

The patio house

The patio house is the result of a dream. Located next to the pool in the courtyard of the main house, it consists of two rooms. There is a huge dressing room in the beautiful entrance. From there, you will access an open space in which you will not find anything missing. 2 terraces for your exclusive use The pool, barbecue, solarium and patio are shared with my granddaughter and me. In summer, my family may also be there, always respecting the privacy of the guests.

The apartment for 2 people is independent. It consists of a double bedroom with a bathroom, a living room with a kitchen-dining room, and a folding bed. It is located in a stone house located on the old Roman road overlooking the Garrotxa Natural Park. Apartment equipped with microwave, small oven, kitchen, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and cleaning supplies. Ideal for visiting Garrotxa, tasting the good cuisine of the region, hikers and nature lovers.
