“The tiny house is beautifully situated in a great garden and next door is an old church. Great view from the huge panorama window! A place to switch off ... The small apartment is designed with attention to detail, nothing is missing and it is very clean! Great breakfast service with goodies from the local bakery. We and our dog felt very comfortable!”
The Dairy Cottage is a completely independent building. It has a small living room, a kitchenette with 2 hotplates, a fridge and a microwave, an en-suite bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds on the upper level. Upon request, a third bed can be added. It has central heating, hot water and all kitchen equipment. It was a small dairy from the 18th century to 30 years ago. If the cottage is busy, look at similar ads from the same Host. Thank you
“Our stay at Michele's cottage was just perfect. The place is very calm and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing and going for some walks but the best part of our holiday was definitely the food Michele prepared. Haven't had so great food in a veeery long time. Everything is fresh from the garden and homemade. Breakfast can be booked every day but make sure to get the possibility to stay at Michele's when he's running a dinner or lunch (sooo yummy!) Thanks again Michele! Would recommend staying at your place to everybody.”
The cottage is made up of an independent unit set in the Prosecco DOCG vineyards which, together with the chestnut woods, cover the surrounding hills. From here, lulled by the sound of the wind and the chirping of birds, guests can view the village of Rolle, with its bells that have traditionally cadenced the work in the fields, the surrounding hills and Mount Cesen. The small, old house was once the residence and workshop of artisans who made the famous local "olle", namely earthenware pots.
“The little cottage in the Prosecco hills is just that. It is a little stone cottage nestled in amongst a family vineyard with the most amazing views out every tiny well placed window. You can lie in bed and watch the sun come up over the vines. Lucia is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. She met us at the cottage with the fire burning. There is plenty of dry wood to keep the fire burning but other heating as well. She explained the cottage and gave us recommendations for places to visit in the local area. She was always on hand to help with information. The cottage is as described. A cottage. It’s not a giant five star chain hotel, so the amenities are as you would expect. I would have enjoyed having a comfy sofa to sit on in front of the fire, but there is a single bed futon which we managed to use as a sofa which worked quite well. The hot water is really hot but the tank is quite small so shower quickly. Lucia left us a beautiful Panettone and some other supplies which provided breakfast for our stay. If you want a getaway amongst nature without hoards of tourists, a quiet place to reflect, a quaint old cottage sitting perfectly on it’s landscape with lots of interesting places to visit, then this will certainly fit the bill. Thank you for your hospitality Lucia.”
