Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sant'Antioco

Deborah’s place feels like a home. It is not a sterile business Airbnb like I have become used to. She greets you at the house and makes an effort to help you settle in. The house has everything you could need- cold water on arrival, coffee, pantry staples, laundry detergent and even a first aid kit. We loved lounging by the pool and we felt comfortable to take a rest after many weeks of hectic travel. It was just what we needed. One of my favourite things is that the only sound you hear apart from the odd local car, is a plane, it’s so peaceful and quiet.

We spent 8 days at Cynthia's house in June with our 4-year-old daughter. Calasetta is simply wonderful!Narrow streets, lots of old buildings, few tourists. The apartment is a perfect base for exploring this small island. Everything is at hand Is the house old, or does it have old furniture?Yes. Can an ant, a spider or a cat enter the terrace? Yes, but that's normal!We wanted to feel the atmosphere of Sardinia and I think we fully succeeded here. The apartment has no wifi and the coverage is poor. Thanks to this, we were able to take a break from these technologies. The home is equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Parking in front of the windows. The bathroom is renovated and matches the style of the rest of the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is practically on the first shoreline. In the port, every evening we enjoyed wonderful sunsets and in the morning we admired the sunrises from the terrace of the house. Cynthia is very kind and responds quickly to questions. We had a relaxing week, right on the beach

We wanted peace and quiet and we got it 100% during our stay. The beautiful accommodation and the location directly by the sea are unique. The taxi boat to the nearby town was adventurous and something special. Because we knew that we had to register and plan our trips early, it was a good opportunity for us as a family with two teenagers to communicate with each other and coordinate our activities. We spent most of the time on the island because the big pool and the sea were the highlight for all of us. We chose the perfect time, there were hardly any other people on the island, so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Luciana, who lives in the apartment next door, spoiled us with a delicious Parmecano and a LimoncelloCrema liqueur. She was so sweet and warm, it was a real gift and an unexpected surprise. Dalia was always available for questions. We would come back anytime.

Great Location directly at the beach, which is beautiful and not crowded. The house looks exactly like on the pictures. Our Kids loved the terrace with the watertap, they played for hours so that we could enjoy the view. The beds are really comfortable, and with the sound of the waves we slept better than at home.

The dependance is a private spacious one open space locale with a kitchen and a separate bathroom. It has air conditioning and a fan. Everything is new and efficient. Very welcoming and comfortable. It has a small terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner. It is ideal for a couple. My wife and I had a lovely relaxed time there. You need a car as it is on top of the peninsula but it is easily reachable and parking is available. The hosts are a very welcoming and friendly couple ready to help and to give good advice about the area. We loved it and had a great week there. Franco P.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful villa. The setting among ancient olive trees was absolutely charming, and we loved the tranquility of the countryside while still being so close to the town and nearby supermarket. The apartment was just as described and the barbecue and outdoor shower were great extras that made the stay feel even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Marina was a wonderful host and we would absolutely love to come back!

Pleasant quiet house with covered terrace on a very large plot. Through the trees it was possible to find both sun and shade at the house. The house is tastefully furnished and remains pleasantly cool even at high temperatures (07.-21 June). Beaches are (depending on destination) reachable by car in 5 - 20 min. Well-equipped kitchen. Pleasant wind at this time of year. Everything is great and as described.

Place and wonderful!!! Beach in front of the house. Perfectly clean house. All the things inside are made precisely for the project of Andrea who wanted to show the culture and traditions of Sardinia and landscapes in the incredible photos. Andrea is a special person. You rarely meet people like him on your life's journey. He explained everything to us calmly and was always available. And that's not all. We talked about many things. Beautiful and stylish accommodation. The house had everything you could want or need for a home away from home. Exceptional attention to detail and exceptional cleanliness. Lovely welcome hamper, including a delicious cake!! which was appreciated after a long day travelling. Great location with spectacular views from the roof top terrace. Easy access to a lovely beach. Would highly recommend.

Recommended, a quiet area from which you can reach the beaches of the area with short trips. The house enjoys tranquility away from the traffic. We felt right at home.

Few words other than WOW. The ever changing view of the sea & sky - sat and watched it for hours. Comfortable beds. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Friendly host. Could not have asked for anything more. Spent time exploring the local area and the two islands - and of course the local restaurants. Our first visit to Sardinia - it will not be our last and I will most certainly see if Fabio's place is available for the next time.

The four of us spent two weeks on vacation in the beautiful apartment. Communication was consistently friendly and helpful. The welcome was extremely nice. Stefan was an excellent host who was always available to us with helpful tips throughout the vacation. The house itself was in perfect condition, clean and well furnished. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything you need and the location between two beaches is optimal. For shopping, you can walk to Isabella in about 10 minutes. Porto Pinetto beach and Porto Pino in about 10-15 minutes walking distance. We liked it very much and we appreciated the hospitality very much, we can well imagine coming back. We had a wonderful stay at Roberta's ! The appartment location is perfect to discover the city center of Iglesias. There is a free car park nearby for day trips along the coast as well. The appartment was well furnished and very clean. it has everything you need to cook and enjoy a nice aperitivo or dinner on the balcony. Communication with Roberta has been perfect. She is responsive and allowed for a very flexible check in. Plus she left us some drinks and snacks for when we arrived. Lovely! I would definitely stay there again !

Lovely villa in Eden Rock with great views over the sea from top floor terrace and lower floor terrace. BBQ next to seating on top floor is great for entertaining. Apartment is well laid out and would suit various group sizes esp 4 adults and 2-3 children. Minimalist style makes it easy to use and find everything. Noemi the local host is really responsive and helpful. She meets you at the barriers for the complex and shows you the way up to the apartment in the road. Lots of recommendations available. Note circa 20 steps down from the parking to the front door.

I can only fully recommend La Casetta di Anna. Often the photos don't match reality... well, in this case the accommodation is much more beautiful than it looks in the photos! Cozy cottage, perfectly air-conditioned, equipped with everything you need and don't need, very clean in every way. Although it is a "house" you can move around very well, the spaces are not at all restricted. Perfect accommodation... not to mention Sabina. Very sweet owner, available to agree on a check-in time, attentive to guests and to ensure maximum services. We were really happy with everything. This house is a love... I don't know how else to describe it!

Perfect stay! Chiara is a very helpful host and always ready to respond immediately to any request. The apartment is in an ideal location, a stone's throw from the sea, which makes everything even more comfortable and pleasant. The furnishings are carefully designed in perfect "sea house" style, welcoming and relaxing. It was really like feeling at home. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Cute and charming apartment, incredible view, perfect for exploring the local stunning beaches. Marina & Enrico were excellent hosts, there to welcome us in person with local wine and pastries. Great communication despite the language barrier. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Angelo and Giovanna's apartment!! The apartment is nicely decorated, with a great large terrace. From there you have a fantastic view of the evening sunsets. From the apartment you can quickly reach the beach and the area where the apartment is located is also beautiful. The contact with Angelo and Giovanna was great. They always responded very quickly and were super accommodating. The only thing we missed were a few kitchen items (there is no stove, only a single hotplate, bowls) But for the few days it was fine.

We spent a week in Calasetta in total relaxation. The house is newly built and with all the necessary amenities. The silence of the area is incredible. The possibility of waking up in the morning is having breakfast on the terrace is priceless. I would recommend everyone to spend at least a few more days because when the weather is okay, it flies! A very nice apartment to enter via a courtyard. Very tastefully decorated, as if you were in a palazzo. The location is easy to reach and within 20 minutes you can get to Cagliari. The village itself has plenty of shops and restaurants. Really a nice place to explore the area.

Stayed for 3 nights in Mauro's apartment. It is very nice and well equipped, perfect for a couple getaway. And the balcony has such a stunning view, in the end you don't feel like leaving. The area is quiet, with easy access to beautiful beaches. Be sure to try the pizzaria 906, the pizzas are great and the view is one that you won't forget.
