Welcome to our 40m² eco-conscious cabin nestled in the heart of the Potsdamer Wald- und Havelseengebiet—a 4,871-hectare nature reserve filled with pristine forests and shimmering lakes. Just a 6-minute bike ride away, you’ll find the Große and Kleine Lienewitzsee—two hidden gems perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and peaceful picnics. Even on the sunniest days, these lakes remain quiet and uncrowded, frequented only by locals in the know. Thoughtful Design, Natural Light Lovingly renovated with a deep respect for both heritage and the environment, the cabin features reclaimed hardwood windows and terrace doors, as well as timeless mid-century teak furniture. Large windows and glass doors flood the interior with natural light from sunrise to sunset. From the bed or the sauna, watch the golden light melt through the trees at dusk. Heating The cabin has two electric heaters, but the main source of warmth is the wood-burning fireplace. It quickly fills the space with a deep, even heat and adds to the cabin’s cozy atmosphere. Firewood is provided (please bring your own lighter and firestarters ) and making a fire is part of the experience of staying here. The electric heaters are available for a little extra support and to keep the temperature during the night!

Experience a few days of vacation with family or friends! With the two bedrooms and the spacious eat-in kitchen, you have enough space for a few relaxing days in the middle of the Harz. In the light-flooded winter garden, you can recharge with enough warmth before, for example, embarking on an extensive hike through the Bode Valley or visiting one of the beautiful half-timbered towns in the area. In the evening, a joint game evening in front of the crackling fireplace before everyone falls into the soft beds.

Katharina Log Cabin by the Ski Slope

Haus Katharina (for 6 people) is a rustic log cabin in a prominent, unique location directly on the ski slope in/by the nature reserve. The property is 1,100 m². Perfect location - apart from the ski and toboggan run, the Wurmberg cable car and the town center with cafes and restaurants are also easily accessible. Newly built in the fall of 2016, the house has upscale, cozy furnishings in a country house style – with underfloor heating, a fireplace and its own sauna. The house consists entirely of 🪵

Lovely log cabin located 400 meters (approx. a 7-minute walk) from Bernsteinsee. Situated in a very quiet, wooded area featuring small holiday homes. The garden is screened by vegetation for privacy and is for your exclusive use. A fireplace, gas grill, and fire pit (with firewood provided) are included. A hot tub is available as an optional extra (€75 per stay; April–October). The sauna can be booked year-round for an additional fee (€25 per night). Carport for one vehicle (max. height 2 m).

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in a large garden with sun loungers after the experiences in Leipzig. The sauna is just decoration. Kitchen use allowed in the front of the house. :) Outside the garden you will find a beautiful castle park in Machern and in 8 minutes' walk you will be at the train station. Travel time to Leipzig city center: Train: 25 min Car: 30 min The wooden house is in the garden and we live in the front of the house (also a cat), so we are there for you.

If you are looking for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city or want to spend a romantic weekend, you can really relax here in the private wellness area. The rustic tiny house offers a spacious sauna (wood-burning stove, Himalayan salt wall), a private swimming pool and a relaxation room with loungers, kitchen, large shower and underfloor heating. Wood, towels and bathrobes are provided for free.

If Austria is too far for a short recharge of nature, tranquility and a log cabin atmosphere, our (fully fenced) Klein Elmau is waiting for you. A log cabin in the middle of the Elm nature reserve without street noise, but with a lot of forest, tranquility and romance. After a walk in the woods, you can snuggle up and warm up by the fireplace, in the bathtub or in the cozy wingback chair on the glass-roofed terrace, from which you have a panoramic view of the Elm.

Switch off and recharge your batteries: our little cottage is a place where you can be close to nature without missing out on the modern luxuries of a hot shower, a comfortable bed and Wi-Fi access. You will find everything you need for a little break in the countryside on 65 cosy square metres. One hour from busy Berlin, the cottage is located in the centre of a sleepy little village between woods, meadows and water.

Relax in the countryside or 1 night for cycling tourists

Take a break and relax in our spacious garden, not far from the Havel cycle path and the regional train to Brandenburg and Berlin. Our simple, rustic cottage with gas hot water shower, dry toilet and cooking facilities has a particularly good sleeping climate thanks to the insulation with hemp and clay.
