We had a wonderful long weekend to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday, along with 12 other friends. The common areas are spacious, the professional kitchen allows you to indulge, and the wellness area is truly a nice plus. Since the house is in a very isolated area, once you have done a good shopping, you will not feel the need to do any activity outside the Chalet Cormignano. Thanks Martino!

a very wonderful place to be

This place to stay is a great place to stay. You can really relax here and enjoy the great view and the sauna/hot tub. Of course, no excessive luxury in this accommodation, but that has its charm. Silvia was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond and we made great use of her tips. In addition to arranging delicious honey for us from a local beekeeper, we also got a few delicious pizzas👍. This listing and host are definitely recommended.

We spent a week in the fantastically beautiful accommodation. If you're looking for peace and solitude, this is the place to be. No neighbors, no noise from cars. Surrounded only by the great outdoors. Our children, 9 and 11, loved it. You can start hiking directly from the house (but it starts very steeply), we drove up a bit by car (Rifugio Serot) and started our hikes to the peaks there. We are thrilled with this accommodation and did not want to leave. Manuela and Daniel are very likeable people and have furnished their cottage very lovingly. It is very clean and tidy and nothing is missing.

Sweet modern design that gives a nod to the typical chalet look... Very clean & efficient units with comfortable bedding and all the creature comforts. The wellness room with a little swimming pool was an awesome bonus. Walking path to town right next to the apartment and not far into town (less than a mile).. Perfect location with a community pool and mini golf next door. Walking path has workout stops along the way.. Nice to be able to check in at the hotel in town so they are available if you need anything. Coming from Colorado USA, we really love our mountains and the Dolomites (and all the fanstastic family friendly activites) impressed us thoroughly... More to do than we could fit in. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience! The chalet is right on the mountain for a true ski in ski out. The view of the Dolomites is absolutely breathtaking! The home has been updated and it was a great place to stay. The host couldn’t have been nicer. He meet us at the ski lift and helped us with our things to the chalet. Very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. This is truly a rare find and such a special home. I would highly recommend staying here. I only hope to come back someday.

My husband with 5 runner friends here for the Brenta Dolomiti Trail we decide to take this place that turned out to be a real gem! Tastefully furnished, clean and in the middle of the super silent forest accompanied only by the noise of the waterfall where we at least immersed our feet after the cryotherapy effect race given the water temperature...! Alessia is super helpful, great interactive. We will be back for the next race, which was beautiful by the way! 💪💪

The location is optimal for those looking for peace away from the noise of the city, the view kept us company every morning while we had breakfast and every night back from walks until it was dark. The house is extremely cozy, there is everything you need to be comfortable and warm. The kitchen and the sofa/table area for eating is spacious and you can move well even in several people, the bathroom on the ground floor is large and equipped with everything you need, while the upstairs sleeping area is so cozy that as soon as we touched the bed we fell asleep. The gem of this chalet is just what you transmit as soon as you enter, this familiar feeling, you immediately feel at home. In addition, Barbara was always very helpful and promptly responded to our questions or requests, her husband to our request for other sheets rushed to us to bring them. In general, the service provided was impeccable in our opinion.

Super helpful host, typical mountain house equipped with everything you need: super relaxing area surrounded by greenery and suitable for families with small children for extreme tranquility. The village just a short distance away allows you to shop without problems. If you are traveling with a dog all the better because it has a lot of space to stay in the house too.

A truly beautiful location. Close to the lift and restaurants of piste 85 (Alpe Cermis), yet very quiet and private. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the terrace full of sun. And you can ski directly there on your skis. The communication is very friendly and attentive. Allessandro is very helpful. The house itself is clean, but slightly old-fashioned in terms of bathroom and kitchen (see photo's). We think this Chalet has an excellent price/quality balance and can highly recommend the Chalet. Tips for your stay: - Online you can buy tickets with a 10% discount. - The slope is for a novice to intermediate skier. Try the 75,88,76,84,74,87 (long + descend 1400 meters (!)). - A day trip to Latemar is definitely worth it (but much busier) - The ski rental near the chalet is much friendlier and cheaper than the one downstairs (+10% discount). - Try Tiramisu at Baita Tonda and fresh pizza at Eurotel Hotel. We would for sure recommend the Chalet!

Recently renovated chalet, absolutely comfortable, spacious, clean and well-kept. The property consists of several separate spaces: the large living room-kitchen, with a comfortable sofa, and the bedroom, very typical and cozy. From there you can access the bathroom, with new and quality bathroom fixtures. The 2 spaces are located respectively on the ground floor and on the 1st floor of the building, connected by an external but wide staircase, not steep and easily accessible. The place is magnificent, overlooking the valley and the Fusino dam. Great if you want to visit Val Grosina, with its many points of interest, but keep in mind that Fusino has only a small bar, with restaurant service, and to go to Grosio you have to travel a road that is not the easiest, for about 15/20 minutes by car. We had a great time but the guest must keep in mind that hot water is only made by lighting the fire and the gas fridge, not too large, is located in a separate room

A truly beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved sitting outside for our meals, watching the birds nesting in the eaves and the lizards sunbathing. A lovely river nearby and walks through the forest. Pristine beautiful nature all around ☺️

We spent a few days in this fabulous mountain cabin and can only describe the experience as perfect in every aspect. From the first moment we were impressed by the extreme attention to detail: every corner of the house is designed with love and attention, with warm furnishings, rustic but refined details and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The cabin is immersed in nature, quiet and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Everything inside is impeccable. An authentic, relaxing and restorative experience. We recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an escape in nature with maximum comfort and good taste. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic traditional house fully renovated in the local style. The place is very cozy. The amenities are all working nicely, and the host is always responsive in case of questions. Location is great, beautiful view of the mountains and at walking distance to supermarket and a restaurant. Several walking trails starting directly from zortea, or otherwise within 20 min drive several other hikes

The stay was just beautiful! The place was exactly as described – clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you might need. The location was good, quiet and private. I would especially like to highlight the friendly and helpful hostess Mama Von Alberto – the contact was uncomplicated and warm. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Stayed as a family in this spacious house! Val di Rabbi is a beautiful place, and Sara was a fantastic host!

The newest Lassie film adaptation of Hanno Olderdissen of 2022, whose key scenes were filmed in nearby Girlan. Our daughter wanted to see the original venues. But the fact that we came across the Knottn Hüttl was pure luck! It's a real gem: quaint, cozy and authentically beautiful! This trouvaille is also located in a lovely hiking area. Especially recommended is the Ultner Höfeweg, where you can also stroll past the former sanatorium of Dr. Christoph Hartung von Hartungen, where Thomas and Heinrich Mann, Christian Morgenstern, Franz Kafka, Sigmund Freud and other relaxation were sought and found.

We really enjoyed our stay here and we would love to come back again next time we decide to come to Bormio. Amazing and beautiful location. Great views across the town and almost halfway up the mountain to Bormio 2000. Our hosts were excellent, warm, welcoming and helpful with any queries we had. Susanna is a great but unobtrusive hostess. Despite the delay due to the traffic situation, she welcomed us at 10:00 pm. The cottage is in an optimal location: you can enjoy the absolute tranquility and yet you can reach shopping and restaurants in 3-5 minutes by car. The location was lovingly restored by the hosts, offers all the necessary comfort and is excellently clean. Clear recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay in the house of Michele. A beautiful area to enjoy portions of the Dolomites while having the ability to relax in the sun after a full day of hiking. Communication was clear and the host was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this stay for anybody who likes to fully relax in the Italian environment.

Our stay at Cati’s place was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We had a great weekend in Vermiglio, Italy, with a total of 12 people. The cabin was perfectly equipped for our large group and had enough space and comfort for everyone. We would like to highlight the great communication and exceptional helpfulness of Virginia and Tina. They were always friendly, helpful and were always there for us with any questions or concerns. On site, Tina and Virginia also supported us with great recommendations on hikes, restaurants, and taxis, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
