"Living in the Bauwagen" Our lovingly converted construction car is ready for you if you love nature and are looking for distance from everyday life. The site trailer is quietly and idyllically nestled between an apple and a plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been converted and expanded architecturally and is a successful mix of old, preserved and modern elements. You have a great unobstructed view over meadows and fields, to Amöneburg, 10 km away. The site trailer is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood stove on cool days. In addition, the site trailer has a cooking facility, a coffee maker and a cooler, so you can take good care of yourself. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible 20 m away. In an appealing washhouse you can take showers, wash and walk to the toilet. Our bicycles are available for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example, the Rauischholzhausen Castle (7 km), the Wässberger Warte (3 km) and the university city of Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg Castle and its exceptional half-timbered old town. You don't need to take care of linens and a set of towels is ready for you. We would be happy to welcome you as our guest.

If you want to enjoy the luxury of simplicity & cozy warmth in a particularly beautiful rural environment for a few days, you will find what you are looking for here. The showman's wagon with wood-burning stove is located on an artistic courtyard (built in 1805, listed building). Just be there or actively explore the surroundings - everything is possible. The incomparable Geo Nature Park with more than 20 premium hiking trails and a variety of ecological projects provide insights into species richness and diversity.

Wir leben auf dem Land mit viel Grün und frischer Luft, freiem Geist und sind offen für Gäste. Das Backhaus mit traditioneller Einrichtung, Holzofen, Schlafboden und ganz zeitvergessener Behaglichkeit liegt separat auf dem Grundstück. Neben dem Wohnhaus (40m entf.)befindet sich das moderne Badehaus zur ausschließlichen Nutzung unserer Gäste. In unserem Haus wird viel gelesen, philosophiert, guter Wein getrunken und sich um das Wesentliche im Leben gekümmert, Reduktion pur! Abenteuer statt Luxus.

Bauwagen mit Aussicht

Der rote Bauwagen am Dorfrand bietet Behaglichkeit für deine Auszeit. Zeit zum Runterzukommen und um das einfache Leben in der Natur zu genießen. Schöne Wanderwege laden zum Entdecken ein. Hügel, Seen oder Wälder - du wählst. Der Bauwagen hält alles für eine entspannte Atmosphäre bereit: Waschtisch, Herdplatte, Kühlschrank. Im Doppelbett 1,40 cm oder auf dem gemütlichen Sofa kannst du dich erholen. Im Winter duschst du in unserer separaten Ferienwohnung warm. Der Holzofen hält dich warm.

Lehne Dich zurück & entspanne... Unser Einraumappartement wurde nur mit natürlichen Baustoffen erstellt. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail habe ich hier Naturschiefer & Eichenholz verarbeitet. Das hochwertige Interieur läd zum Relaxen ein. Hier, am Tor zum Vogelsberg befindet sich u.a. der Einstieg zum Vulkan Mountainbiketrail "Mühlental". Bike Ladestation direkt am Appartement. Danach ein Saunagang? Bei Interesse besteht die Möglichkeit eine Spritztour mit meinen US Oldies zu unternehmen ;-)

Oasis at the edge of the forest "Taubenschlag"

Magical circus wagon for 2 people, originally furnished in our beautiful garden area from rose stock to wilderness awaits you. With its 15 m² room with fireplace and 9 m² covered comfortable outdoor kitchen, you can experience your adventure close to nature here. Surrounded by forests, streams & silence. In the main house, there is a bathroom. A beautiful hall with a piano, library and 12 nice people for so many good conversations. Wi-Fi, parking. Also 2 guest rooms & 2 apartments.

Cozy little sheperd's hut in the green countryside

You will find our lovely litte sheperd's hut in the green countryside near the village. You can relax here alone or with somebody else. The surrounding landscape is perfect for hikes and long walks. You can also find a nice lake and a small town with their typical half timbered houses not too far away from your stay. For an easy start in the morning you can book a breakfast for 11,50 € (per person and night). The bathroom with a shower is available for your personal care (100m).

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Unsere Unterkunft liegt mitten in Deutschland, in der Nähe von Kassel und ist umgeben von Natur. Du wirst sie lieben wegen der himmlischen Ruhe, dem Türchen in den Wald und trotzdem nur 20 km Entfernung nach Kassel mit Auto oder Straßenbahn. Meine Unterkunft ist gut für Paare, alleinreisende Abenteurer, Familien (mit Kindern) und größere Gruppen geeignet. Sofern es sich nicht um unkontrollierbare Kampfhunde handelt sind uns Tiere willkommen und fühlen sich regelmäßig sehr wohl.

Our small hut - stay on the alpaca pasture

Spend the night in our small hut on one of our alpaca pastures on the edge of the Documenta city of Kassel. It is particularly suitable for a romantic weekend for two. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the starting point for many hikes, the bus is 500 m away, only three minutes to the nearest highway and yet the everyday hustle and bustle is outside this place. For pasture hygiene reasons, we cannot guarantee the presence of alpacas with every booking. Feel free to contact us.

Idyllic cottage in the countryside

Small idyllic guest house in the countryside just 20 minutes away from the Documenta city of Kassel, with the World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. Lovingly furnished for 2 people with small kitchen, sleeping loft and modern, new bathroom. Enjoy the tranquility and privacy on your own small terrace with private access. Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

Garden house/tiny house "La Casita" in the countryside

Wooden house 13 sqm in the middle of our large orchard with mini kitchen, wood-burning stove, outhouse and solar power. There are 2 beds that can be set up as a double bed or single beds. Consciously kept simple, no TV and Wi-Fi, but plenty of PEACE and NATURE. The garden with swing, fireplace and teepee (in summer) is available. The house is 30 m away and there is a shower room that can be used from 7:30 am to 10 pm and where the dirty dishes can be handed in.

Stay overnight on the adventure farm directly on the R1 bike path. On our small, cozy farm you will find the ideal place to escape the ordinary. In our newly built pods, you will experience a unique sleep and relaxation experience. Let your mind wander and enjoy nature in the beautiful Fulda Valley. In the cozy cottage, there is plenty of space for breakfast or just to linger. In winter, the Kota becomes a unique experience by the open fireplace.
