The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Bellezza maestosa! Non vedo l'ora di visitare di nuovo la Toscana e la città di Asciano! Grazie!

Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. Our stay was truly magical! Of course, the ambience is wonderful, it is very quiet there and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the restaurants in Montone, but we wanted it exactly like that! The pool, the view - really everything was fantastic! And our great hosts are simply outstanding! They were always there with advice and help, gave us great recommendations for the area and even organized and translated a truffle hike for us! We are incredibly grateful that we were able to stay in this gem and get to know this wonderful and loving family! Thanks for everything 😊

Max’s place is beautiful like a dream. The accommodation is tastefully furnished with Tuscan charm. The interior is equipped with high quality cooking utensils and tablewares in the kitchen, comfortable bed, and sparkling clean bathroom. We enjoyed marveling at the beautiful wooden beam ceiling and terracotta tile floor. The exterior is elegant, well maintained, and exudes a pride in the care-taking of the property. Max and his wife Pamela were genuinely kind and helpful, and we enjoyed every interaction with them. It felt like talking with family. The location is convenient to explore central Tuscany. We made many day trips from Podere Il Belvedere su Cortona. Every time coming back to Max’s place felt like coming home!

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay with Roisin was very pleasant. The areas and beds were clean. Proportionately a large swimming pool. Beautiful sunbeds and seating areas. Kitchen was stocked with delicious food and drinks, which we were all allowed to use. We received good information in advance, also about the steep path that had to be taken. It was a very nice stay, we had nice weather, actually only used the bedrooms and kitchen inside.

A heartfelt thank you to Manuela and Nicola for the welcome! A splendid place, with attention to the smallest details, you can see that there is a lot of work, dedication and passion behind it. The apartment is equipped with all the comforts and everything you need, and more. I highly recommend a stay in this enchanting place to everyone. The only regret is that I was there for a short time! I hope to be back soon. A special greeting to the sweet Lila.
