Duck Room At The Olive Branch Inn. Room Only
We stayed for a wedding that was happening locally in Marsden. Flexible check-in made it nice and easy to drop our bags and get dressed before heading into Marsden. Taxi back from Marsden was only £7 and we walked back in the next day to get our car with a pavement running all the way into town. Accommodation was spotless, bed was comfy, shower was hot and powerful. Complimentary coffee and tea. Couldn’t find fault at all. We opted for breakfast the next morning at £15 per person. Included full English, toast & jams, tea/coffee and juice. Was very well cooked. Thank you 😀

Room 2 @ Ramblers rest
Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. Thank you Claire and Robbie

Luxury ensuite B&B room, dogs welcome
We had a wonderful stay and loved our weekend. Thank you for having us. Our dog friendly room was luxurious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the en-suite was gorgeous. Our bedroom patio doors opened onto decking and out onto an enclosed garden, perfectly safe for our little dog to go outside. The shared downstairs space was lovely, very comfortable and homely. The homemade cakes were literally the best we have ever tasted and the cooked breakfast (veggie) was perfect, on both days. Our walk from the B&B took us straight to chatsworth house to Baslow and back and was perfect. The pub next door had wonderful beer (wainwright) and nice red wine (Rioja) and the food on both nights was great, with a lovely fire and dog friendly. Chris and Caroline were the perfect hosts, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. All in all the perfect birthday weekend. Thank you

Elton Guest House Family Suite
A lovely , homely stay Jenny and Chris were perfect hosts . Location is ideal for exploring the Peak District .

Ploughmans Cottage
The dog friendly bungalow was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and it's a great location.

Double room, en suite shower & heated pool
The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had every little touch that made it feel like a home away from home — and even breakfast included, we felt truly welcomed. It’s clear the host genuinely cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. I can’t recommend this place and this host enough. I would return in a heartbeat Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality! You truly went above and beyond, and it made all the difference. I’m so grateful — hope to stay again soon! :)

"Authentic" - The Old Bakery B and B
Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

Double room with wood floor
Florence's location was just where I needed it to be for a brief, one night stay in Doncaster, and at a very reasonable cost. I did not spend much time at her place, but my room was comfortable enough and Florence was a lovely host. I greatly appreciated both the refrigerator and the fan in the room. Please note, for those like me who might be older - the room I stayed in is on the very top floor (up 3 flights of stairs), the bathroom is down 2 flights of stairs from the room, and the stall shower was not operational during my stay (but the climb-in tub did jhave a hand-held shower unit).

Luxury B&B in Peak District, the Belfield Room.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jonathon and Jane. They were wonderful hosts. The house has so much rustic character with lots of extra touches. Delicious healthy breakfast. We loved the beautiful walks in the nearby countryside. Excellent B&B can highly recommend!

Hill Top Farm: Bed and Breakfast
We had a wonderful stay at Hill Too Farm. Susan was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The B&B is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast really good. Most of all Wincle is a very special part of the world, beautiful and wild… and we were pointed to a real gem of a pub, The Ship, for dinner which was a real treat. We will be back!

LANE END HOUSE
I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly environment. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Hall Farm House B & B Twin

Florence Nightingale Suites at Lea Hurst
Everything is splendid about this place. The setting is magnificent: a hilltop above the lush Derwent Valley, with a family of deer frequenting the estate, mist rising over the Derwent River, lush groves of birch and other trees extending across rolling fields. Owner Peter Kay and his family have done a remarkable job renovating the old gabled mansion, filling it with tasteful furnishings and fittings and an array of antiques that conjure up its days as the summer estate of the Nightingales -- Florence, her sister, and parents- during much of the nineteenth century. Peter is a fount of information about the legendary nurse and social reformer and her life in rural England, and, following an excellent breakfast prepared by his wife, he led me on an invigorating morning walk, both along the river and on the carriage trails that Florence's father had constructed in the surrounding forest. For both those with special interest in Florence Nightingale and those seeking a serene and beautiful retreat in Derbyshire, I can't recommend Lea Hurst highly enough.

Fountain twin room
Anne was really friendly welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and she clearly really enjoys interacting with her customers. The breakfast was amazing ....the best we had that week and we particularly enjoyed the Bonsall oatcakes (made with oat milk). We bought delicious packed lunches, which they made in the tea room whilst we were having breakfast. I would definitely stay again if in the area

Next to SHF Arena Twin En Suite

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. So very kind allowing us to check out a little later too. We have finally found where we are going to stay when we come up to visit family. It has been hard to find a quiet, peaceful relaxing place until now. The perfect place and thank you so much. A&P x

Double Room, Private Bath, Parking, Use of Kitchen
Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Tannery House Garden Room 2 - Cosy Double en suite
Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

The Inn by the Canal Cosy Double
The canal Inn is the perfect place to stay. We loved the accommodation and everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and lovely locals too. Got to meet Lola a local dog would give her 5 paws too if we could. Would definitely recommend for all ages and types of stay. We stopped breifly on our way up to Scotland and would definitely come back again and spend longer.

Cosy B&B w English breakfast near Hartington
Had an amazing experience at Leanda's and Nigel's B&B. From the moment we arrived until the very last second, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The room was exceptional, offering breathtaking views that truly impressed us. The bed was incredibly inviting, and the bedding and towels were of the highest quality, making us feel pampered throughout our stay. The shower had everything we needed and it was truly perfect. The dining room was delightful, and breakfast was fantastic - a wonderful way to start each day. The garden is absolutely stunning and deserves special mention, every seating area is fantastic, with gorgeous views that make relaxing an absolute pleasure. There’s so much more to say, but honestly, you should come see it for yourself ) Overall, it was a VIP experience we’ll always remember. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend staying with Paul and Tracy—you won't find kinder, more welcoming hosts anywhere! Thank you so much!
