This was a beautiful, peaceful home and super close to a subway station. I will recommend this to any friends who might go to Kyoto.

Great traditional Japanese house in a quiet neighborhood in Kyoto. Amazing location, only 7 minutes from the train station and only 1 stop away from Kyoto. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice home in a quiet part of Kyoto!

Stayed here with our family of 5. Lots of sleeping options. Two great showers. Laundry. Cute shops, craft bars, restaurants, and beautifully built shrines. Lots of outdoor beauty too.

It was an inn packed with fun for the kids.There were plenty of amenities, and everything was clean. While the children enjoyed the inn's setup, the adults could relax and watch TV.I definitely want to stay again

This is a large, beautiful house with modern furnishings. There is a deck that overlooks the river, and you can see hawks, herons, ducks, turtles, and more. There is a popular restaurant right next door, so it can be noisy especially if you are on the terrace at night. It didn't bother us, and they closed early enough for us to get to sleep easily.

This was great for our family of 4 trip (with two kids ages 8 and 11). The location can’t be beat, the Yasaka shrine is right around the corner and tons of amazing restaurants in walking distance. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away, so we got some breakfast food, snacks and drinks there. The rooms are very quiet and beds are very comfortable (heated floors were an extra bonus). The bathrooms are very nice as well. This was a very zen place with a traditional feel and modern amenities. Great find!

Perfect spot for 10 people. Great location and loved the authenticity of the sliding paper doors, beds on mats, etc. Very comfortable and loved the location and host.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-story Japanese-style house. It’s incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of Kyoto charm. The layout is spacious yet cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to Gojo Station on the Keihan Line, and there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the door, which made everything super convenient—from grabbing a quick snack to withdrawing cash. Shan is a superhost in every sense. She gave us a warm welcome with plenty of water, drinks, snacks, and even instant noodles! Her responses were always quick and helpful—we felt really well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto. Great home, great location, and a truly wonderful host. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

The location of the B&B is very striking. There are convenience stores and fresh supermarkets around. Great place, plenty of room for sleeping and bathrooms. Great location, easy to get on the LUUP bikes and ride around.

Very convenient location in the Arashiyama neighborhood. Only a 6 minute walk to shops, the bamboo forest, or the larger neighborhood train station. There is a smaller train track right behind the house, and we were worried about noise, but it turns out those trains don't run at night. Very responsive owners/ management- it was a great stay.
