Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee.

10) Kyo-machiya Entire house safe &quiet京町家一棟貸

Maximum capacity 10 people. After 4 people the additional fee 6000yen/person/night will be charged. Partying and noise are strictly prohibited. This 100-year-old traditional house called "Machiya" stands in a quiet residential area, a little ways from the center of the city. The renovation work was carried out under the supervision of a "Machiya" expert, while preserving the culturally valuable foundations.

Sakura River Inn 2 is a traditional Japanese apartment originally inhabited by a Geisha located directly on the banks of Takase river, overlooking of the famous walk among the cherry blossoms of Kiyamachi street. 5 minutes by walk from Pontocho, Nishiki Market, Gion and Higashiyama. 650 meters from Takashimaya Department and Marui witch is mean perfect location for shopping too.
