Situated at the edge of Baildon moor, boasting amazing views of the surrounding countryside, we are surrounded by fields and stunning views. The perfect place to relax! We are a short walk from Baildon village, where you’ll find pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways, and Leeds city is just 15 mins on the train. We are located on our family farm with some animals on site, we have horses, dogs, cats and our two pet micro pigs Gavin & Stacey. So some farm noises are to be expected on a morning!

Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Renovated, with many original features and quirks befitting its age. Countryside surrounds the village, which is a must to explore on foot right from your own pink front door.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
