We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Our lovingly furnished 200-year-old half-timbered house is located in the middle of the village in a residential area. The garden is fenced off, parking spaces are always available in front of the gate. Nearby there are hiking trails, a playground, swimming lakes and activities of the "Bergisches Land." The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. "Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
