A basic Italian breakfast is included (coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, etc.), but if you prefer a richer breakfast served at the table, the cost is €15 per person (€10 from 5 to 15 years, free under 5 years). The accommodation is located on a country farm, a 5-minute drive from the center of Volterra. After Porta Diana, take a short stretch of the Municipal road of S. Margherita until you reach a dirt road, the sign Bosco dell'Iris Nero leads you, along a 900-meter path, to the location. Here there are chestnut trees, olive trees, flowers and a pleasant view of the valley. You can meet roe deer, porcupines and wild boars. The cuckoo, the hoopoe, and the woodpecker inhabit the surrounding forest.

It is located on the 1st floor of our B&B Le Aquile. It is an elegant double room (king size bed or two single beds) with exposed wooden beam ceilings, antique furniture and a private external bathroom with shower cubicle a few meters from the room. It has a complete bathroom set, a hairdryer, a courtesy kit, a kettle (with tea and Nescafè) and Nespresso capsules to enjoy a typical Italian coffee. The room is air-conditioned and equipped with wifi and a flat-screen TV.
