I've stayed at this AirBandB several times and plan to return. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Everything is in good working order. The beds are comfy. There is everything that you need to cook or bake. I especially enjoyed the midcentury modern sleek decorating style. Thanks Bob!

The property was amazing and very accommodating for our adult son who is in a wheelchair. Other than navigating a few steps to get into the house everything was ADA friendly including a roll in accessible shower in the master suite. The grandkids loved the backyard with plenty to do. This place was perfect for our family of 4. The beach is at the end of the block. Easy walk to the grocery store, Starbucks and several restaurants. The home was clean and uncluttered and also had little extras like books, board games and laundry detergent. We used the beach chairs provided each night to walk down to the beach and enjoy the sunset.

This was one of if not the best air bnb I’ve stayed in. Was very very clean which is always important and Glen is such a great guy. Was very helpful and friendly. This house has everything you need including surfboards, boogie boards, skim boards, and other activities. 10/10 stay

If I could leave a 10 star review I would. The host generously provided a shower chair and handles for my disabled father to use the shower safely. Any questions I had were responded to promptly. The amenities here are off the chart, they couldn’t possibly list them all. The perfect vacation rental! We loved hanging out in the front and back yard, enjoying the peaceful neighborhood. A cute playground was a short walk away. I cannot recommend this home enough and we’ll be staying longer next time, we had our family just join us at the home during the day for our visits. The beds were super comfortable, plenty of toiletries, a book nook for kiddos upstairs, gaming in the den, all the beach going needs and then some. I even saw a closet of baby items including a high chair. They have thought of everything and providing the comforts of home. I had a couple minor suggestions at check out for the host and they have likely already been remedied, they are so quick to respond and fix things.

Very close the Ventura County Fairgrounds! Really quiet area after a long day at the shows. They had really nice touches from make-up remover and coffee and creamer on location. Had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend it

It was a warm short stay at Ben's house. A really new house with new and clean facilities. The natural light in the house is really good during the day. Thanks for the welcoming snacks and wine! Ben and Annie are very helpful and kind.

Austin was quick to respond about any questions and overall a great host! I recommend 10/10 experience. A beach right across the street, safe area, and had everything we needed. Will be back again :)

The house and the location were perfect! When we come back to Ventura this is where we’ll stay again. Everything was clean and our kids were happy with the games provided outside. This house made our vacation!

Absolutely the best stay ever, Julie was outstanding in her communication and her place was ideal in every regard. I can not even say to all that is so easily accessible from her location. Every need I had was obtained in less than 7mins from her residence. I felt completely at home and more than satisfied with my stay. Just returned from 5 glorious days at Karen's place in Malibu. We rented both Ocean Sunsets and Beachcomber Bungalow. The units are attached to the owner's home, but are situated in such a way that we had complete privacy. The owners were accessible if we needed them, but otherwise, we felt we had the place to ourselves. The highlight is the incredible view from the well-appointed patio, which both units share. The home is situated on a mountainside overlooking the Pacific in a less busy section of the Malibu oceanfront on Pacific Coast Hwy. It truly felt like the ideal spot in Malibu, based on our travels up and down PCH. The units contained everything a traveler might want, from kitchen items to beach chairs. The space was very comfortable for the 2 people that occupied each unit. You could probably add one or two more people to each unit. The upper unit, Ocean Sunsets, has a picture window to the ocean and a skylight ceiling window which offer lots of natural light. For this reason we liked this unit better but late sleepers might prefer the lower unit where natural light can be better controlled. Both are decorated tastefully with a "beachy feel". The landscaping is beautiful and contributes to the feeling you've truly escaped to a paradise. There are some fairly steep stairs going down to the lower unit, then further down to the patio. My 82-year-old mother was able to navigate them with help, but it's something to keep in mind in case you're traveling with someone less mobile. Karen and Gary were considerate hosts throughout our stay. The day before we left, southern CA was hit by record-breaking heat. The AC unit in one of our units which hadn't been needed in years (with ave. summer temps in the low 70s) was on the fritz, and they had it replaced within a few hours. They made some great suggestions for sightseeing, to include staying right on our patio for a July 4th fireworks display (funded by movie stars who live in the area) in a cove down the oceanfront. For beach-goers, we recommend Zuma beach just a couple of miles south on PCH. We had no trouble parking and it felt less busy than beaches further south. Our only complaint was the weekend beachgoer traffic up and down PCH. You have to let go of any urgency to get anywhere. It's slow going. Of course we were there in the height of the season. And weekdays are better. Overall, if you like spectacular ocean views (the best in the US in our opinion), cooler summers (jackets at night), close beaches, and (once you're off PCH) a relaxing and comfortable escape, you will love Ocean Sunsets and/or Beachcomber Bungalow.

Great location, convenient to highway and restaurants. The space was clean and spacious as described. It's not the easiest navigating the apartment complex and all the stairwells but host provided clear instructions. We felt it was easier to access the apartment from the visitor parking lot vs the assigned parking spot. Host was able to provide us with a high chair and pack and play, which was very much appreciated. Overall the apartment was good value for money and I would recommend. Thanks Carina!
