Hen Gegin is a recently renovated 18th century “out kitchen” to our main farmhouse. The cottage is ideal for a couple, is separate from our house and completely self contained with a space for parking right outside on our drive. The area is quiet and very beautiful with only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Borth-y-Gest and Morfa Bychan. Retreat in Coed Y Brenin forest near Dolgellau

Tyn Y Benrhos is a stunning Welsh stone cottage situated in its own grounds, in Coed Y Brenin forest, near Dolgellau. You have access to the entire property, with enclosed garden for up to 2 dogs and 8 acres of fields, woodlands and a river to explore. Here you are perfectly located for an active holiday whether it be walking, running or cycling. If you just want to relax there is plenty of opportunity to do that too. We do not live on site but live about 20 mins away and are on hand if needed.

The area has plenty on offer; scenic steam railways, the unique village of Portmeirion, sandy beaches, the excitement of Zipworld, numerous castles and Mount Snowdon (to name a few!) are just a car ride away. If you prefer not to venture out, you can now enjoy a game on our brand new pétanque pitch!
