Cabin holiday rentals in Sommen

We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. The beautiful nature and the many leisure opportunities have made the holiday particularly relaxing. The sauna house with the hot tube was simply indescribably beautiful in a clear starry sky. Particularly noteworthy is the very personal, fair and fast communication with Julia and Pelle.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s converted barn. It is in a very convenient location, just off the main road down a small lane, at the end of which is a petrol station and supermarket. It is only a short stroll into the pretty centre where you can find historical sights of interest, pretty streets , independent shops and a variety of restaurants. Kathy has taken great care in ensuring the barn is comfortable and clean, ensuring her guests have all they will need for their stay. The bed is comfortable and she provides good quality linens and towels. The hot tub was immaculate and a real treat, as was the cava and chocolates that were part of our welcome package. Kathy’s attention to detail makes this accommodation stand apart from others. Thank you Kathy.

Nox is a very good host, very nice, reactive and super helpful! The cabin is really cute, greatly located to explore Tivedens National Park and with very nice equipments (hot tub, sauna), perfect after hiking!

Cozy cottage that has everything you need except TV, but that was stated in the advertisement.

The gas bottle for the grill was out, but it worked out by us having to drive to a gas station and buy and the host paid to me, so it was ok. Guess it was the guests before us who ran out of the gas without notifying the host.

Everything was perfectly fine. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Very nice stay! The accommodation was well suited for a weekend for 6 adults, well equipped kitchen, nice living room, large terrace with hot tub and very nice garden overlooking Lake Lake. Maja was a very good host, easy and quick communication, great tips about the area and walks. We felt very welcome. The surroundings are very close to nature and lovely. Would love to visit again!

Incredibly charming home that matched the description. Fresh decor in the cabin and Sophie was easy to communicate with. In addition, it was a peaceful location with nice views and extra cozy with the horses grazing around the cabin. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay. Contact with Genet was quick and smooth. The little house was nice. Maybe a little high price but on the other hand very sweet and good that coffee / tea and cleaning are included. Quiet area with walking distance to the center.

Wonderful fairy tale cottage we stayed in. Around us is a magical and very well-kept large garden. You can't wish for a better place to relax and enjoy the real natural life while breathing in a completely unique historical atmosphere. The cottage is fully equipped, nothing is missing and every little detail testifies to the owners' refined sense of style. The location is simply perfect. From the garden, you are almost directly at the cemetery. There is an immediate church as impressive as a genuine cathedral. Very grateful for the opportunity to stay here. Our stay in Ödeshög was great! The cottage was clean, well furnished and equipped with all comforts. We felt right at home. The area is beautiful - peaceful nature, beautiful hiking trails and Lake Vättern a short distance away. This accommodation is highly recommended for those looking for peace and beautiful nature. We'd love to come back!

We stayed at the accommodation for 4 nights, 2 adults and 2 children and dog in June 2025. We immediately felt at home, Lars and his family were nice hosts who welcomed us personally. Clean and nice cottage on a large plot. Idyllic with a cow pasture around the corner, lovely forest and extra fun for the kids with a trampoline, Bobbycar and slide on the property. Smooth and flexible check-in and check-out and easy to get in touch with Lars. Extra plus that we could use the washing machine. We have nothing to complain about, but can really recommend this place. We'd love to come back here!

Katarina’s place was great! We used it as a home base to visit the eco park to the south and it was easy to go to a from. We were there a bit outside of typical summer dates so the surrounding areas were essentially shut down, but we were able to find what we needed. Also would highly recommend Restaurang Hörnet in Vadstena, it was incredibly good!

We had a great few days in the cottage and especially for the children it was a special experience. The place was even more friendly on site than in the photos. There are many beautiful forests and lakes to discover in the area.

Lovely Little House, beautiful interior and nice details like a bag for grocery shopping and fly screens that you don’t get with every airbnb. Loved the little garden, very very quiet and Maria was very nice and helpful during our stay.

We stayed 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 6 years) in Elin's cabin 3 nights when we were going to Kolmården. We had a great stay in the cottage and the area is very beautiful with only 8 minutes drive to Kolmården. We had great pleasure from the patio with morning sun, the relatively large kitchen for the otherwise small cottage and all the games and toys that were available for the children. Communication with our hosts was quick and easy. We would be glad to come back 😊

We loved the little Sweden hut. It is located in the middle of the quiet nature of Sweden. Nearby you will find a few nature reserves. For other things, you have to drive a little or you can simply enjoy the time in the accommodation and the cozy terrace & hammock. The apartment is cozy and superbly equipped. We immediately felt comfortable and lived a little Swedish dream. At least for a few days 🤗 We are happy to recommend the place.

We had a wonderful time staying at the place. The beautiful and quiet surroundings are perfect for getting away from it all. In sunshine outside by the lake or in the rain with a fireplace and sauna, the house has something to offer for every weather condition. The contact with Kasper was super pleasant and helpful. We loved the accommodation from the first minute. The house is cozy and very personally furnished. The surroundings are beautiful and so quiet that we were able to relax immediately. A lake with a boat and picnic area was not far away. Annsofi gave us many suggestions for excursions and hikes in the area. Vimmerby, Katthult, Bullerbü are easy to reach and we also paid a visit to the Moose Park. It was a journey through time and a piece of paradise. Thank you, Annsofi

I had a lovely stay in Gullringen! The surroundings are really beautiful and the cottage is clean, tidy, cozy and equipped with all the packaging. And indeed as pink as the photos suggest! The contact with Madeleine was very nice - she is a very helpful host and even picked me up from the bus stop. Absolutely worth it!
