Lapland is full, come to Kainuu! On a sunny, forested plot in Kajaani, an atmospheric 6-person cottage with a wonderful wood-heated beach sauna. The sun shines on the cottage beach late into the evening. The beach sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher up on the plot. Inside the cottage, running water, indoor toilet and shower bring a little luxury to your stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large terrace with views through the forest to the back of the lake.

We are happy to welcome you to the cozy Villa Koira-2 cottage for a holiday in Finland at any time of the year. The house is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen with dishwasher, large living room with fireplace. A bathroom with a shower and a sauna. There are 2 bedrooms (2 +1) and a second floor (3 beds and a bathroom) that can accommodate 6 guests. The slopes/tracks of Vuokatti are 5-7 minutes away. Bed linen is available on request (10 euros/set).

Tunnelmallinen sähköistetty mökki tarjoaa rauhaa luonnon keskellä ollen kuitenkin vain n. 15km päässä Nurmeksen kaupungin palveluista (Bomba, Hyvärilä n. 10min ajomatkan päässä). Matala, kalaisa lampi tarjoaa hyvät virkistysmahdollisuudet ja ympäristöstä löytyy hyvät sieni- ja marjamaat. Idyllinen kohde myös perheen kesken mökkeilyyn!

Cozy, clean apartment with its own entrance. Fully equipped kitchen. You can heat the sauna daily, cool off on the sheltered terrace, grill (gas) and a fireplace is available. Beds made in the bedrooms (160 cm, 120 cm). Living room sofa bed (140 cm). Travel beds for small children. Pets are welcome (please remember to inform us when booking). Linens, towels and final cleaning are included. The apartment is about three kilometers from the center of Kajaani towards the airport.

Not a resort. Not a hotel. Exactly what Finland actually looks like. A small off-grid cabin on Lake Oulujärvi running on solar power and firewood. No running water or indoor plumbing. That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.

Modern chalet in Sotkamo

A spacious, modern chalet in a peaceful location, by a small, serene stream in the middle of the Finnish forest. The chalet is located only a short driving distance away from Sotkamo city centre and Vuokatti Ski Resort (16km). The chalet has a traditional Finnish sauna by the stream. Guests also have access by boat to a small peninsula with a sand beach by the lake, located on a shore at the other end of the stream.

80 vuotta vanha hirsimökki on saanut uuden elämän täydellisen remontin jälkeen. Mökki on aivan Sotkamon keskustan läheisyydessä rauhallisella alueella. Mukava vanha puutarhatontti. Ilmalämpöpumpulla jäähdytys ja lämmitys. Piharakennuksessa on puulämmitteinen perinteinen suomalainen sauna. Makuuhuoneessa 2 erillissänkyä ja olohuoneessa 2 hengen levitettävä vuodesohva. Hintaan sisältyy liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet.
