Jokela School Summer House

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with a sauna building, a separate sleeping cabin, an outdoor toilet and a barbecue canopy. The place is located along the river Matkusjoki. In the upper courtyard, there is the old Jokela school (built in 1928), which we are renovating. If you enjoy genuine summer cottaging with the smallest additional comforts, then this can be your summer destination. We especially enjoyed the gentle steam of the wood-fired sauna and the refreshing dip in the relaxing peace of the river. Warm welcome to our summer place!

Authentic cottage atmosphere in Kainuu

Lapland is full, come to Kainuu! On a sunny, wooded lot in Kajaani, an atmospheric cottage for 6 people with a lovely wood-burning lakeside sauna. The sun shines on the shore of the cottage well into the evening. The lakeside sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher on the property. Inside, the cabin's running water, an indoor toilet, and a shower to bring a little luxury to the stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large deck with views through the woods to the back of the lake.

A cozy half of a duplex offers spacious and comfortable living in a beautiful uptown area. The apartment has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a sauna, and a spacious bathroom. In addition, the apartment has free Wi-Fi access. City services are within walking distance. Downstairs is a kitchen-living room, sauna, bathroom, toilet, bright living room and one bedroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a toilet with a shower cubicle. The apartment has a total of 6 beds, a sofa bed, and an extra bed.

Bright, spacious, and well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment with direct views to the Vuokatti fell. Ski tracks, slopes, the nearest grocery store, and restaurant are just a few hundred meters away. Quiet bedrooms with blackout curtains. Excellent storage space. Easy access even without a car. Ski maintenance space. Pet-free and non-smoking.

Linens, towels and final cleaning are included. The apartment is about three kilometers from the center of Kajaani in the direction of the airport.
