Monthly Rentals in Southmont

I rented this home for my daughter's 16th birthday and we really had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and the lake with the kayaks and the paddle board were fantastic! My daughters also loved the swings and the hammocks. We did have an issue out of the owners control and they responded within minutes and were willing to do whatever they could to help. We would definitely love to go back at another time!

My wife and I stayed here after our wedding since it was close to our venue. Jill knew our situation and went the extra mile to make our already special night even better. The concrete walkway leading to the guest house was covered with rose petals, there was a congratulatory card waiting for us on the dining room table, and Jill even got us a decorative vase with our last name initial on it. Not to mention, we booked last-minute because our other post-wedding accommodations fell through, which made her effort more surprising and appreciated. Other than that, the guest house was perfect for my wife and I. Very comfortable, clean, and private. Jill is a great communicator, too; quick to respond and helpful. 10/10

Dawn & Jim were lovely & friendly. They have something very special here. So much to do and so peaceful. Everything you could possibly need was stocked in the guest house. Would highly recommend!

Our family really enjoyed the stay, just wish we could have stayed longer! It was nice to be able to dock our boat for the weekend and the kitchen had everything we needed including a small ice machine. We loved being able to bring our dog. The kids really enjoyed the arcade games and the fire pit, as well as kayaking. We felt comfortable letting them paddle around in the smaller quieter cove.
