The Blue Door House

JoleneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a wonderful break from the loud, crowded, busy cities. A picturesque view from every window. The bed was the most comfortable one of our whole trip. We loved the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Monica went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I wish we could have stayed longer, but there is always next time. Already looking at my calendar for a longer stay in 2026.

Tuscan mountain home with a modern rustic feel.

Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

Homey & Restful Flat in the heart of the Apennines

MagnusRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The apartment is very nice and lovingly furnished! Especially the children's room, even if we didn't need it, is designed with a lot of love. Otherwise, the apartment is large and has everything you need. Communication is pleasant and there are clear and detailed instructions on any matter. The location is quiet and the apartment is a good starting point for excursions to the countryside or, as in our case, to Bologna. We had a good time :)

Social Garden - Sharing Room

Fredrico and Linda were the best people who made me feel right at home. I met some amazing people during my stay of 3 nights. Fredrico and Linda even took us for a drive and pizza up the hills in their amazing van. We heard songs and spoke and laughed and had the best time. Their garden is so so chill and there's a table tennis table too where you can play. I even took a dip in their pond which was super clean. It's the experience that stood out and i am so grateful to have come here. Special mention to Greta ( she is such a nice person and beautiful)

The Artist's Loft

Ivan and Silvia were always very kind and helpful to us: tips on trails, places to visit and gastronomic stops. They were also kindly activated to let us visit the Gothic Line Plastic at the City Hall of the Municipality. The place is well cared for, quiet and with everything you need for a more than pleasant stay.

Casale Ca' Rino

We absolutely loved our stay The house is absolutely beautiful The grounds were 100% secure for our dogs. We spent four weeks enjoying nature and the beauty of the house during a warm June with family. The house downstairs is cool all the time thanks to the cross ventilation Upstairs housed all the bedrooms, we loved each room had a bathroom. All the windows have fly screens, as Italy in summer is full of mosquitoes amd there are fans in the bedrooms to help with the heat at night. The kitchen is fabulous, as a family of chefs and foodies, it was not lost on us. Our only complaint was the fridge was too small for a house full of people. But there is also a freezer which does help chilling the wine at least. There was a giant outdoor table and a coal BBQ to enjoy long evenings outside. Honestly, if I could, I’d come back year after year. It would never got boring. Thanks for having us.
