We had a lovely stay at John's cottage. It's in a great position for getting out and about. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the cottage as we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding weekend. John gave perfect information and exactly where it was and kept in touch to check everything was ok for us. The perfect host I'd say.

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Ash hosted myself and my Groomsmen the night before my wedding. The location was perfect (right next door to the venue), the house was beautiful and very homely! The scenery was outstanding and a very relaxing outside setting. Ash was an amazing host and went the extra mile to provide as much convenience as possible. I fully recommend anyone to stay here. We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely spot in Tean. It was a beautiful find. peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sophie was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful. The little touches throughout the house made it feel extra special and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

absolutely perfect spot for our overnight for Alton towers, disappointed we hadnt arrived earlier to enjoy it for longer but it was everything we needed, clean and well appointed and thanks for the welcome biscuits the kids demolished them!

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A truly great place to stay and only 20 minutes from Alton Towers! Wonderful amenities in a nice and peaceful location, makes the place feel like home. Everything was as described, the place was spotless and there was plenty of information available about the local area for places to visit and eat etc. Nici was a very gracious host who greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again when in the area next.

Extremely conveniently located for Leek town. Clean and comfortable with a very homely feel. We had a lovely stay and the house had everything you need for a home from home. Angela's communication was friendly and welcoming, she provided clear instructions and gave great recommendations. We would happily book again in the future.

I enjoyed a one night stay at Andrew’s place was lovely apartment with everything you need, was very comfortable and spacious, with supermarkets like Waitrose and Morrisons nearby which is very handy. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area, many thanks!

Pauline as a hostess is very welcoming and great at communicating promptly. The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen. Pauline thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with fresh milk before arrival. The premises being on the outskirts of a peaceful village is tranquil and comfortable.

Although this was simply somewhere to lay our heads while exploring the area, we really couldn't have wished for better. We found the annexe to be spotlessly clean; with everything we could need. Thank you very much to Dan and Holly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

Stayed for 5 days. It was a very cozy house. It was clean and tidy. There were shopping malls and restaurants nearby, which were within walking distance. The owner responded quickly and actively. I will stay here again next time. Thank you.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

Beautiful place. Very close to the Peak District and things in Buxton.

The flat is really cozy and has all the amenities that one would need. Jill and her son, Marcus took care of everything. I needed few things and they arranged it for me promptly. Also on the first day they welcomed me with breakfast and flowers which I thought was a really sweet gesture. Dronfield is a great place to stay and the neighbourhood is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend Jill’s place, primarily for their great hospitality.

I have nothing but good things to say about Scott as a host, and his flat is lovely. He was super fast in response time to questions and really helpful with everything. Very clear instructions and it was easy to find the place and get in. Nice and quiet. The odd rumble of a train didn't disturb the peace at all. Fast internet. Plenty of crockery/cutlery/pans etc. Note that there is no toaster so if you want toast you need to use the grill. Also the mattress is very soft and springy, which is great if that is your preference, but if you prefer a firm mattress you may not like it. Personal preference that one of course. The flat has a wonderful bohemian feel about it, and interesting books to read. I may have to stay again, and for longer, to read more of them! Definitely recommend staying here. Nice sitting outside listening to the stream flowing by. Thank you Scott ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.
