Tranquil & Lovely Cottage in Minstead, New Forest.

Our cottage is set in a peaceful corner of the village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. It is a Victorian farmhouse overlooking fields with some beautiful original features and has been in our family for over 60 years. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with a large mature garden, perfect for families, friends or even couples. It's so tranquil here, hardly a car goes by, but you will see ponies, donkeys and cows roaming up the lane while the wild forest itself is 10 mins walk away.

Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.

New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.
