Great place, the cottage was clean and cozy. This is where you can get some privacy to the water. It would have been my wish that the vacuum cleaner was available to the renter - Hannele

The house is very new and corresponds to the pictures. We felt right at home! If you like peace and seclusion ( for people from the city ), this is the place to be. The extra charge for the hot tub is worth it.

We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights, a very peaceful place! Beautiful scenery, neat and cozy cottage. The hot tub was a really nice addition and the host responded quickly to messages. Everything needed for cooking was found. About 100 m from the cottage there is a public pier, which also allowed a dip in the lake. :)

The accommodation matched the description and was as shown in the pictures. Great views from the inside out and from the hot tub. Great place to relax! Also a suitably private place, even though the camping area is nearby.

Vesa-Matti was an exceptionally good host! He clarified all our questions and ambiguities in advance. He also proactively gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. Vesa-Matti's response time is incredibly fast. Never had a host who took care of our concerns faster than he did. The place is quietly located. The nearby ski resort is within walking distance. We recommend booking a car for this property. Shops, activities, etc. are very difficult to reach without a car. The place itself is very nice, clean and has everything you need. The place was perfect for the four of us. We would not recommend more than six people (otherwise the other people have to stay in the sauna building) We enjoyed the week with pool and sauna to the fullest and can therefore only recommend the accommodation as well as Vesa-Matti!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Miro’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and leaving was truly heartbreaking. The cabin had everything we needed for a perfect winter getaway in Iso-Syöte. The cross-country skiing opportunities were fantastic – the trails start right outside the door. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time in Emmis and Oliver's cabin. Communication was excellent. The absolute highlight is the sauna heated with firewood, with fantastic lake views. The cabin is quiet and you can relax and enjoy the silence away from the hustle and bustle.

At the beginning of June, Ukkohalli was particularly peaceful and there were no other tourists nearby. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. Special mentions of the possibility of charging an electric car (although we did not need it on this trip) and two electric bicycles. Board and video games, as well as karaoke equipment, provided entertainment for the evening.

Cozy little cottage in a quiet area. Host attentive and friendly. It was easy to schedule an extension.

A chalet by the water is magical. In the middle of nature, without any noise, the view of the lake brought zenitude. Short chalet to recommend to all lovers of nature and tranquility

Very neat, beautiful and quiet cottage with all the comforts (even a spice rack on top of the last one in good condition). The location of the cottage is just perfect. The large windows offer a beautiful, calming view of the outside, which is occasionally enhanced by the sight of passing reindeer. With Tero, everything was done quickly and effortlessly. We can warmly recommend it and if we ever return to Syte, we will definitely stay in this cottage.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Oskari's lodge. We have followed Google maps and took us a wrong away trying to the lodge so be mindful if you use Google maps as the road to the house is not listed but you can see it on satellite view. Now we have visited early March and the surroundings were incredible, lots of snow all around. The house was nice warm inside and a lovely place to be. highly recommend as you can disconnect from the outside world. Looking forward to our next trip back now.

Me and my siblings decided to take a night here during our stay in Finland to visit the family. Veera's cottage is slightly out of the ordinary. With large rooms and many beds, kitchen with everything you need and a large living room, the stay will be very comfortable. The sauna is in very good condition and a path to the private jetty makes it easy to take a swim in the lovely water. The cottage and sauna are secluded with a very beautiful view. A real gem that I would love to visit again when the opportunity arises.

Cottage 2 was small and cozy. We wouldn't have needed more. The bed was good. During the day, the cottage was really hot, the thermometer probably showed +32. But we weren't inside during the day, we were sitting in the yard, roasting sausages and meat in the fireplace. Maybe even bear tracks were visible on the driveway... Exciting! The host was great and responded well. Thanks for that! The shower opportunity is also a very big plus. 🌹🙏

This place is truly extraordinary. The lake view can be admired from anywhere in the house, including the sauna. Everything was perfect—Lassi welcomed us and gave us a brief introduction to what the accommodation offers, and then we enjoyed a hot sauna with an amazing view. As a bonus, Lassi stocked the fridge with local beer, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In conclusion, this place is worth staying at, whether you're just passing through for a night or looking for a peaceful, longer vacation by the lake.

loft for 4 was lower and cramped for adults.

We were on a family vacation together with four children and we camped in this amazing cottage. We can really recommend this place to other families with children! Wonderfully cozy and homely cottage in a quiet location. There are a lot of common activities in the cottage, e.g. various games. The sauna got a good steam!

Adorable little cottage in privacy and still a short distance from everything. Excellent sauna. Marjametsä was right next door and reindeer saw, once even almost in front of the stairs of the cottage. I recommend this place to everyone. I'd love to come back.

We stayed here as a couple and we are very happy with the place :) the cottage is in a good location where you can enjoy the peace of nature. We also had our own boat, which was attached to the cottage pier. Here, the sense of time disappeared and the mind calmed down ❤️

Really nice cottage. The renter answered questions quickly. The fireplace was wonderful. Small stairs left the side of the cottage, along which you could easily reach the hiking trails near the lake

The cottage was a great fit for our needs. We were four people, six people would have stayed comfortably. We received the address and key code information as agreed. The cottage was new and well cleaned before our stay. The ski track can be reached a few hundred meters along the edge of the road and the center of Iso-Syöte by car in five minutes.
