Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Villa Kataja holiday home in Paljakka

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire site and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

The courtyard of the cottage overlooks the magnificent scenery of the Syöte hiking area and the national park. Mountain biking, hiking or skiing can be accessed directly from the cottage yard. Welcome to relax, cook in the bosom of nature, go boating on the lake and enjoy the gentle steam of the beach sauna. You have a rowboat and, if you wish, a hot tub (extra charge). Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. The cottage is wood heated.
