Villa holiday rentals in Surf City

Had a house full of kids and adults and could not have asked for a better place! It was an easy 2 block walk to the beach, the Tiki Bar, and ice cream. The house was spotless and everything functioned perfectly. Would absolutely rent again!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this place as it felt home. The neighborhood is beautiful, quite and safe. And the drive to the beach is not far ( less than 10 minutes). We had great time at the backyard grilling burgers and enjoying the warm weather.

Going Coastal is two blocks from Squigley's ice cream! Twice as far to the ocean but doable depending on ages. We rented a golf cart for my mom. Nicely renovated and bright. Love the new window treatments but you will know when the sun is up. You could always put a pack n play for younger ones in the large master closet. The stairs are as pictured and typical for a townhouse lending to carrying noise in case you have guests on different schedules. We appreciate their pet friendly policy. Our tiny shitzu enjoyed himself too. Also enjoyed the relaxed free cancellation policy as our kids' sports often have us changing throughout the year and I love to book way ahead. The refrigerator was awesome providing two types of ice & filtered water in the door. Fancy. We enjoyed cooking in a few nights and they had all necessary tools to do so. Would definitely return.

Extremely spacious, very nice space, very homey and had a wonderful stay! Definitely recommend this place!

Our stay in Topsail was amazing. Donna is an amazing host. The location of her house is incredibly convenient and use of the golf cart made getting around town fun. We’ll miss her dog Dilly. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially families!

We loved our stay and the house is wonderful! Its closeness to the beach is ideal. Bald Head Island is pricey but considering that this is very good value .

This was one of the best trips we have had to CB, beautiful home with everything you need for a relaxing vacation! Will definitely be back, thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in such an amazing home!

This was a great place to stay for a long beach weekend. Accessing the beach and pools was so easy. The beach location is amazing for kids. Comfortable place with all the amenities.

We loved our stay here! The house is gorgeous, and convenient to everything Wilmington and Carolina Beach has to offer. The neighborhood felt safe, and the house was welcoming and clean.

I decided last minute that I needed a getaway with some relaxation and an stress-free time. John’s place popped up to the top of the results list. I had never booked anything where you shared space but I decided to give it a try because of the good reviews and the fact that my husband’s name was John. I just felt like it was ok and safe. I’m glad I decided to try it. Both John’s and Diana were super sweet and so helpful.The house is beautiful.The rooms have top of the line bedding and beautiful decor. The kitchen was stocked with some food and John cooked several times for people. I’ve never had that at a place before so that was so helpful on saving some money with eating out. Plus they had garden tomatoes so I enjoyed like 10 tomato sandwiches.The animal tour was so cool. It was amazing to me to see how many animals , especially birds. It was really impressive; feeding the lemurs lollipops & holding the baby wallaby, Casper, was really cool.i highly recommend!! I will be back. Thanks

We stayed one week at the Jewel of the Waterway. The views were amazing. There are huge windows in the main living areas to enjoy views of the water. Lots of cozy places to sit outside both on and off of the porches. The pool was super fun for the kids! There are kayaks for use which was great but do not try to launch them at low tide! Swimming in the waterway isn’t possible, which is outlined in the home guide. Things to note - while there are 3 bathrooms, realistically there is 1 shower. On the main level one bathroom has a walk-in shower (this bathroom doesn’t have a door besides the bedroom door) and the other just has a large soaking tub. The bathroom in the basement does have a shower but it’s tiny and kind of dark and scary. We booked this home largely because of accessibility and the fact that it has less stairs than most waterfront homes in the area. You do have to access the home up a few steps and the pool down a half flight of stairs. The pool is viewable from the sunroom.

John and his co-hosts were amazing! Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed as family. They really went above and beyond in every aspect. The place was cleaned to perfection and there was so much to do! We were able to schedule an animal tour the same day, grill outside using their supplies and really relax as much as possible. Our room featured a private balcony and bathroom, but really the entire property should be highlighted. The hosts recommended beaches and restaurants for us to enjoy, and as we were checking out, John let us know that he was preparing breakfast for us as well! We were able to leave this amazing place with a full belly, homegrown fruits and veggies, eggs, and great memories. We will be back to visit for sure. Thanks again John B., John M, and Diana.

Words can’t express how much I enjoyed staying at John’s place. It was an amazing experience we will NEVER forget. It was by far my favorite bnb and I’ve stayed at a couple of Airbnbs. It’s close to the beach but it didn’t really matter because we wanted to spend all our time on his property. It was clean and there’s a ton of rooms in the villa! It is decorated so nice and the exotic animal farm he has is amazing! We stayed during the 4th of July and he had food waiting for us in their beautiful outside kitchen when we got back! You won’t want to leave the property. The pool was great and the rooms and bathrooms are so clean! I can’t wait to stay at their place again! I loved every second and they were all extremely responsive. They had fresh eggs and tomatoes that I brought home. Book your stay! You won’t regret it.
