My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

Right on Main Street, just a couple minute walk to the heart of downtown Leland. The perfect home base for relaxing in between beach walks, swimming, shopping, and eating. The attic was larger than pictures showed! There was pretty much everything you’d need to feel comfortable. Nicolle was very inviting and easy to communicate with. Hopefully we’ll be back again!

The setting on the lake is gorgeous and the small apartment made the most of the space available! We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay in Troy's beautiful apartment located just west of downtown. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the waterfront is only a couple of blocks away.

We are so happy that we stayed at TC Rock Shop! The place iself is so cute—very cozy!—and the location was minutes to downtown shops and restaurants, with the bay literally across the street! We spent a lot of time walking around the cute neighborhood, and enjoying the sunsets on the water. We went to an art fair and Sleder's Tavern (my parents' old fave in the 70s) right down the street! The apartment was the cleanest AirBNB I think we've ever been in, which was hugely appreciated. It was quiet at night, the bed was super comfy, and the towels smelled wonderful! We really appreciated the snacks, tea, and bottle of local Crisp wine (yummy!) they kindly left out for us. Although we didn't make use of them, we noticed a number of amenities that would be appreciated by other guests — umbrellas, cooler, beach gear, a pack and play, etc. We really loved this place and will hopefully stay here again on a future trip to TC!

Was an excellent place to stay.

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Kari's home on Lake Michigan was wonderful in every way. The property surrounding the house is beautifully landscaped with lovely plants, flowers and tall trees. Much attention to detail was apparent throughout the home. The gorgeous art, accessories, and decor were impeccable. It was apparent that in the decor she kept the historical integrity of a house built in the 1970's while adding a modern & elegant touch. Kari was completely responsive to all questions and concerns. The kitchen, house and garage were stocked with anything you could possibly need or want on a family vacation. The view, the beach, the surroundings couldn't have been more perfect. We would love to have the opportunity to enjoy this home again in the future.

Where do I even begin to describe how amazing Meryl’s home is? It’s one of the most peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable homes I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. From the moment we drove off the road, we were cocooned by soaring trees and a running stream that hugged the border of the house. We felt secluded without feeling isolated. The house is like a retreat, beautifully decorated, quiet and clean, with all the amenities we could need for a comfortable stay. There were so many wonderful places to recreate and eat in the area. Traverse city was just a short drive away and Farm club was a 3 minute drive. A real gem to have close by. Meryl is such a wonderful host, she helped with so many wonderful suggestions and was very responsive. I highly recommend booking Meryl’s home, except when I want to stay there again 😉.

We loved it here! Beautiful cottage on a peaceful and pristine lake in one of the most gorgeous areas of MI with excellent hosts! We really enjoyed our time here and are grateful to Joe and Natalie for our experience at their fantastic cottage.

Our family (4 adults, 2 children) stay at Sun Bear was wonderful. The home is spotless and beautiful with floor-to-ceiling windows on the Lake Leelanau side of the house, great decks facing the lake, a stone fireplace for those chilly mornings, and a pier for launching the home’s kayaks and canoe. Additionally, Sun Bear is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-stocked with spices and tools for cooking family dinners. Our host, Chris, was friendly, professional, and responded quickly to our requests and questions. He was also terrific about offering suggestions about restaurants in the area as well as places to see and things to do. He even went out and purchased the brands of coffee we enjoy. Talk about service! We will definitely try to stay at Sun Bear again.

This home was absolutely perfect for our lake getaway! Beautifully designed, incredibly clean, and stocked with everything we could have needed. The views were stunning and the location couldn’t have been better for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and would absolutely come back again. You cannot beat the location of this place if you’re wanting to experience downtown traverse city. My husband and I were able to run out for a quick coffee, walk to the water, visit a restaurant or bar and stop back to change/whatever without worrying about it. The place was clean and Jaime was very responsive with any question we had. He also had simple check out instructions. There’s a free parking spot included which was also wonderful. Def recommend!

Mary was a very lovely host and was easy to contact and was quick to respond. You really couldn’t want anything more than this unit, you’re facing the lake, It’s quiet and has incredible sunrises. It’s really everything you need - especially for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped. Heat and AC, no problems. Everything was exceptionally clean!! I am really crazy about cleanliness and I can tell you I felt right at home here, I didn’t need to clean with my Clorox wipes to feel comfortable. You wouldn’t go wrong renting this unit. It was easy to get around from here we went to the tunnel of the trees, Mackinaw, Petoskey and Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. Lots of places to eat or you could stay at home and make dinner and use their grill. The grounds were very nice and very well kept! So what is my downside to this trip? Well the weather was too chilly, but I guess there’s no controlling that next time. I will know that this early in the season it’s a gamble on whether it will be wa

Perfect little condo right on the lake. Nice location for exploring the surrounding areas.

This was our first time to Traverse City and we lucked up finding this condo on the beach/water! It was decorated so cute with modern/clean touches. Very easy to enter/leave with press-lock. The bed is SO comfortable. We were very appreciative of the 'Welcome' book with recommendations of things to do/places to see around Traverse. Would definitely book here again!

In our experience, it's always rare to find a place that lives up to the hype of the description, however in this case, The Nest exceeded the already great expectations as described. Sure, the photos do the best they can to capture the view that is afforded to guests, but walking into the living room and seeing the view is breathtaking. You'll quickly find yourself trying to decide between taking the time to explore the town of Frankfort (which is great), or spending all your time on the balcony taking in the views. It truly was a welcoming accommodation, and we felt at home immediately. Everything you need is available, and we were very surprised by how large the bedroom was. it was our first time to Northern Michigan, and we cannot wait to return. Charlie and Suzy's location will be the first place we check for availability when we do!

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had! Elissa was incredibly welcoming and responsive from start to finish, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The space itself was spotless and clearly maintained with great care—every detail was thought of. From the cozy linens to the little extras (like snacks, extra toothbrushes, and local tips), everything felt a step above. It truly felt like a home away from home on a long stay. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

This place is great! You can walk to downtown Leland in a few minutes and surrounding area is beautiful. Condo is squeaky clean and having a view of the waterway is so nice. Our hosts were great and everything was well explained and communicated.
