Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sweden

Fantastiskt boende! Läget vid vattnet, huset med stora panoramafönster och för att inte tala om omgivningarna! Så himla fridfullt. Rent och snyggt och bekvämt. Michaela var enkel att kommunicera med, en toppenvärd helt enkelt!

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

Wir waren zu zweit im Haus von Ingrid und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen! Es gibt eine holzbefeuerte Sauna und einen gemütlichen Kamin. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und im Sommer üppig grün, mit Weidetieren vor der Nase. Die Strasse vor dem Haus ist nicht besonders stark befahren und hat uns wenig gestört. In der Küche haben wir alle Utensilien gefunden, die wir gebraucht haben und das Bad ist modern. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen, Ingrid ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

We stayed at Mattias’s house for 3 nights after a few days in Stockholm and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax! The surroundings were beautiful… it was private and quiet! Cozy porch to relax and visit in . Ate our meals in dining room with beautiful views! We used the sauna briefly… it was a great option. Our favorite was the hot tub! We highly recommend Mattia’s place and would love to come back!

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast im Haus von Susan und Greg. Die beiden waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend und durch die kleinen Gespräche zwischendurch hat man sich umso wohler gefühlt. Das Haus selber ist liebevoll und umfassend eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In ca. 15 Minuten ist man in der Stadt Ljungby und findet dort alles, was man an Nahversorgung benötigt. Vor Ort gibt es ausreichend Wandermöglichkeiten. Der angrenzende See kann per Boot befahren und wohl auch beangelt werden. Am Ende kann ich nur sagen, dass wir alle uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und gerne wiederkehren, wenn es uns wieder in Richtung Ljungby zieht.

Wir haben 9 Tage lang in Patriks Haus verbracht. Ein wundervoller Ort, modern eingerichtet und trotzdem gemütlich wie zu Hause. Große Küche mit viel Equipment, schönes Bad, bequeme Betten. Wir hatten herrliches Wetter und konnten die Terrasse und die Plätze an der Feuerstelle am Abend gut nutzen. Die Lage am Wald und am See ist einmalig und die Ruhe dort wohltuend. Das Haus war unser schönstes AirBnB - so far.

This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

Le logement de Thomas était extrêmement confortable : accueillant, cozy, et pratique. La vue sur le lac depuis le châlet est magnifique ! Thomas a été un hôte très réactif et sympathique.

Charming home with updated amenities in the perfect location to explore Stockholm. Bella was a very welcoming and helpful host. She provided information on all of her favorite places. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Gamla Stan, einem äußerst zentralen Viertel, das es ermöglicht, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles, was man für die Zubereitung eigener Mahlzeiten braucht. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten war tadellos und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle, die Stockholm entdecken möchten, ohne auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit verzichten zu müssen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt! Danke Elisabeth und Nils für eure grosszügige Gastfreundschaft.

Jag bodde i en mycket mysig och väl inredd studio i centrala Eskilstuna, belägen på en charmig, gammal gata nära vattnet. Boendet hade en personlig och varm atmosfär, med antika detaljer och smakfull design som gav känslan av att kliva in i en annan tid, samtidigt som allt var bekvämt och välskött. Läget var perfekt ,nära både natur och stadens bekvämligheter. En trivsam plats som passar den som uppskattar lugn, kultur och estetik. Rekommenderas varmt

Trevlig vistelse med en bra och engagerad värd. Man kände sig välkommen. Sysselsättning i boendet för stora och små och det känns privat och enskilt även om det är flera boenden i huset. Upplevde omgivningen som lugn. Fanns allt jag och min familj behövde för vistelsen och jag tycker även det var prisvärt. Bokar gärna där igen när jag behöver. Det man kan vara medveten om är att det hörs när de som bor ovanför går omkring på morgonkvisten i fall man stör sig på sådant.

Firat min 60 års dag med närmaste familj i detta underbara hus, fanns allt man behövde för att laga middag mm och att man kan umgås tillsammans samtidigt. Bastun var jättefin och övriga inredningar. Läget är tyst och fridfullt. Mycket barnvänligt. Perfekt för oss som fiskade/pimpla

(6 Erwachsene, 12 Tage) Haus + Umgebung sind traumhaft. Schöner als auf den Fotos. Haus + Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Großes Hauptschlafzimmer (Kleiderschrank, Badezimmer (Doppeldusche + Badewanne) großes Bett + Fernseher). 2. Zimmer - schönes Bett, jedoch keinen Kleiderschrank, somit auch kleiner. 3. Zimmer hat Etagenbett und ein 140 cm breites Bett + Ankleide. Eher Kinderzimmer. Wir haben nach einer Woche die Zimmer getauscht. 2. + 3. gemeinsames Bad (Dusche) + Fernsehzimmer Haus hat große Fenster, ist lichtdurchflutet + bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den See. Große Terrasse mit Feuerstelle, Grill und diversem Mobiliar. Negative Punkte: Einige Küchenmaschinen + Grill waren nicht sauber, was aber eher an den vorherigen Besuchern liegt. Die Bettdecken und Matratzen wiesen Gebrauchsspuren auf. Linda + Michael waren immer erreichbar + sehr zuvorkommend. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen + würde gerne wieder dort meinen Urlaub verbringen. Tack så mycket!

The perfect stay for our little family. Annah and Alex were extremely kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. Our kids (2 and 4) had the absolute greatest time exploring the house, grounds, animals and activities. Couldn't recommend more!

Wir hatten schöne, entspannte Tage in diesem wundervollen, und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus auf der ruhigen, aber gut erreichbaren Insel. Infrastruktur und Ausstattung sind sehr gut und durchdacht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Viele Lebensmittel, Gewürze etc. standen im Haus zur Verfügung und der Supermarkt auf der Nachbarinsel war mit dem Boot gut erreichbar. Das kleine Elektroboot war super um die Küste in der Nähe zu erkunden und hat den Einkauf auf Möja zu einem schönen Ausflug gemacht. Selbst bei Regen war es sehr gemütlich und wir haben die Natur bei jedem Wetter durch die großen Fenster genossen. Am Abend kamen sogar Rehe vorbei.

Second time we’ve chosen to stay with Louis, and we will definitely be back. The house is in a calm area, with amazing scenery, clean, and fully equipped.

Vi var 6 vuxna och 4 barn och alla var supernöjda!!! Alla älskade poolen, barnen ville inte lämna huset, de ville helst bada hela tiden. Hopfällbart pingisbord användes högfrekvent. Fanns många sällskapsspel. Utsikten är fantastisk. Jättefina uteplatser. Ett toppenhus att hyra med en värd som var mycket lätt att få kontakt om en fråga uppstod. Kan varmt rekommenderas.

Stayed 5 nights as a family of 6 and loved every minute. Amazing house and location. Ludvig and Anna couldn't have been more helpful. Huge thanks - I'm sure we will be back!

Our mission was to relax and we found it at this wonderful home on the lake and its great view. The house itself is wonderful in design as are its outdoor areas. Inside everything was immaculate. Everything you need is there for a relaxing stay and the host make sure that everything is clear for you when you arrive and were easy to reach if you needed help. We loved are short stay and hope to be back in the near future.
