Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sweden

Ein wirklich tolles Haus! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und hat wirklich alles was mach braucht. Wir waren dort mit unseren zwei kleine Kindern und es gab alles! Spielzeuge für draußen und drinnen. Am Ende hat unsere ältere Tochter gesagt sie möchte gerne hier bleiben ☺️ Das Grundstück ist toll. Sowohl für die Eltern als auch für die Kinder gibt es alles. Eine Sauna, Feuerstelle, Steg ins Wasser, Spielhaus und Sandkasten. Peter und Lovisa waren super nett. Sie haben uns immer sehr schnell weitergeholfen und sich auch so erkundig! Wir können es nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour! La petite cabane est située à côté de la propriété des hôtes, ce qui permet un contact facile et direct. Marie a été très accueillante, nous a conseillé de jolies promenades dans les environs (réserve naturelle, accès au lac) et même offert les œufs de leurs poules. Le logement était propre, fonctionnel et conforme à la description. Très agréable pour quelques jours. Merci encore :)!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Vi tillbringade en helg i stugan och hade det fantastiskt trevligt. Stugan var ren, välutrustad och hade allt vi behövde för att känna oss hemma. När vi kom var sängarna bäddade, handdukar framlagda för alla och vi möttes av en fin välkomstgåva i form av hembakat bröd och fika, en omtänksam gest som verkligen uppskattades. Stugan ligger otroligt vackert, med magisk omgivning och en rofylld miljö. Det fanns många fina platser både inne och ute där man kunde slå sig ner och bara njuta. Kommunikation med värden fungerade utmärkt, och det märktes att det var viktigt för hen att vi skulle trivas. Vi kan varmt rekommendera ett besök, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Fantastiskt välkomnande till huset där det också stod vackra tulpaner och väntande, en fin touch. Strålande vackert hus fullt utrustat med allt vi behövde. Rent fint och precis miljön vi hoppades på. Att kika ut över vackra omgivningar morgon och kväll! Det var en oväntad kall helg då är huset fint att vara inne och spela spel i och vi uppskattade i synnerhet utflykt till Väddö gårdmejeri tillsammans med barnen. Trevlig badplats en kort promenad bort!

Smukke omgivelser og dejlig bolig. Birgitta var god vært, som imødekommende og hjælpsom i det omfang vi havde behov for. Vil til enhver tid anbefale Birgitta og boligen.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast im Haus von Susan und Greg. Die beiden waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend und durch die kleinen Gespräche zwischendurch hat man sich umso wohler gefühlt. Das Haus selber ist liebevoll und umfassend eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In ca. 15 Minuten ist man in der Stadt Ljungby und findet dort alles, was man an Nahversorgung benötigt. Vor Ort gibt es ausreichend Wandermöglichkeiten. Der angrenzende See kann per Boot befahren und wohl auch beangelt werden. Am Ende kann ich nur sagen, dass wir alle uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und gerne wiederkehren, wenn es uns wieder in Richtung Ljungby zieht.

Nice location, close to bus stop and metro. Great restaurants nearby as well as shops. Would like to stay here again if I visit Stockholm in the near future!

Wir haben für eine Nacht bei Anders übernachtet, da wir auf der Durchreise gewesen sind. Die Unterkunft war mega schön und Anders war sehr gastfreundlich. Auch unsere Hunde wurde herzlichst begrüßt und auch umgekehrt 😉 Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Anders war so lieb und hat uns kleine Snacks bereitgestellt, das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Auch die Kommunikation mit ihm und das Einchecken in die Unterkunft hat super und ohne Komplikationen funktioniert. Wir können Anders und seine Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Sehr tolle umgebaute Scheune. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal, dann aber für ein paar Tage länger 😀 Wir sagen nochmals Danke und bis bald 👋

Perfekt boende för två. Allt man behöver finns och altanen med eftermiddag och kvällssol är verkligen härlig. Trots att boendet ligger i ett mindre villaområde så känns det väldigt avskilt och privat. Ingen insyn. Det ligger oxå bra till att utgå från om man vill upptäcka västkusten. Boendet upplevs fräscht med sköna sängar och en bekväm soffa.

Wohlfühlen in Schweden! Diese süße tolle Unterkunft hat mir sehr gefallen. Sie ist liebevoll und mit Geschmack möbiliert und eingerichtet. Der Austausch zur Begrüßung war herzlich! Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt! Es ist super ruhig und mit einem tollen Blick in den Garten gelegen! Ich kann es absolut empfehlen. Seele baumeln lassen und entspannen! Der Nationalpark lädt zum wandern ein und Kivik ist ein toller kleiner Ort ☺️

Einfach eine tolle Lage in Gamla Stan. Vor allem war Annika total hilfreich. Wir konnten z.B. unser Gepäck nach dem Check out noch unterstellen, was uns sehr geholfen hat. Die Kommunikation über den Chat funktionierte auch reibungslos. Antworten kamen innerhalb weniger Minuten, teilweise direkt. Annika als Gastgeberin ist einfach nur phantastisch. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Great place to stay in a wonderful part of Stockholm. Uzi was a great host, easy to communicate with, and full of good recommendations to enjoy the best of Södermalm. The Coop next door was very convenient, and the apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend, and would gladly stay again!

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Really nice and modern apartment in a quiet rural neighbourhood. Everything was as described and communication with both the hosts was great. They also have a farm from where you can buy organic honey, eggs, etc. We had a really nice stay and would gladly come back again. Thanks Tommy and Anne!

Gunillas Unterkunft konnte wirklich nicht besser sein. Es fehlte an nichts. Sogar die deutsche Fahne stand zur Begrüßung auf dem Tisch. Jeden Morgen begrüßte uns die Sonne beim Frühstücken. Der Blick auf den Vättern liess das Frühstück besonders gut schmecken. Nach Jönköping ist es nicht weit. Ein Spaziergang am Vättern ist ein Muss. Wir können Gunillas Wohnung empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Alejandro was always quick to respond to my questions and patient as I learned how to use various appliances. The location is convenient with easy access to two separate public transportation stations, delicious restaurants, two supermarkets, a beautiful nature preserve with trails and swimming from the dock in front of the building. The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely terrace and fully equipped kitchen. We were provided with early access which was helpful after an overnight flight to Stockholm. We would love to return some day!
