We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the cabin we also enjoyed the waterfalls at surrounding trails we went for our one year anniversary and they put us up a happy anniversary sign not wife adored it we will definitely be looking forward to to going back again thanks so much for the amazing weekend

This mountain retreat is the perfect place to go with friends or family. You have areas to gather together and spend time by the fire or grilling and have an amazing view of the mountains, while still having your privacy. Each unit has its own bathroom and different sleeping arrangements. It is so magical and serene, the pictures do not do it justice.

Fantastic place to stay with great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks and fire pit. This cabin is a lovely private getaway. Koren was proactive and communicative throughout the whole process. We would 100% stay here again.

This is our second visit to Austin home once again a great place to stay lots of things to do at this home, from the golf cart to the kayaks ping pong pool table and volleyball if you’re bored your not doing it right! With a great way to relax in the hot tub!

The stay was completely amazing. I was there for 52 days and it truly felt like I was home everyday. Dale and Ginney are fantastic people. They gave me plenty of space to get settled in and they were always there when I needed anything. I gained more than just hostess and friends when I was there. I truly gained family. I loved living with them and getting to know them. To be out of town and able to completely trust the place I was at is such a great peace of mind. If I'm ever in the area again I know I have an amazing place to stay. I am 100% satisfied with my choice to stay with them. You will be too.

It was a beautiful cabin that was conveniently located to three lakes that we fished. Everything we needed was located inside the cabin and we had complete privacy outside.M there was also an overhang to completely park and cover my boat I would stay there again

Great place to stay for the price! Good location, kitchen has everything you need, beds are in good condition. The hill down to the slip is pretty steep, but after cruising the lake, that is par for the course! Their slip is in good shape and a great place to hang out! I didnt get a chance to fish down there, but I assure you it looks like a great hole. Andy did a great job accommodating for us, and was quick to communicate!

We had a great stay!! The place is easy to find and feels very quiet and peaceful in nature, I wish we could've stayed a whole week. There are other houses in the area but they are not too close so you have space and it still feels private (just not 100% "in the middle of nowhere" private - we were also here in the winter with no leaves on the trees inbetween). As others mentioned, the stairs going up to the bathroom/bedrooms is more like a ladder so important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues, but we had no problem navigating them. Our dog stayed downstairs and had tons of fun running around outside. There's also some fantastic hikes in the area!! Can't wait to come back again when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of the dock/lake. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

It had been a few years since we took a family vacation and we were very happy with this place. Its a perfect place for families. The cabin is great, rustic, well stocked with anything you may need. We loved the front porch and had coffee out there every morning. We spent a lot of time on the dock sunbathing. The girls had fun taking out the kayaks for a bit. The cabin had everything we needed and Brenda was quick to respond when we had a couple small issues. Its a beautiful space to reconnect with the family and we would love to come back.

3 Bedrooms plus loft beds and 3 baths made this a great weekend stay for 3 couples and a single. the walk way outside is uneven rock and the stairs inside were larger spaced steps.

We had an amazing stay. Loved the sliding doors and porch overlooking the river! The cabin had everything we needed and was the perfect place to unwind. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Blake & Emily have done a superb job with the entire place. The cabins felt brand new, very clean, just a great place to unplug! The fishing was great as well! We will definitely return

I have stayed in Cabin 111 several times - it’s ALWAYS clean and comfortable. The host responds immediately to any questions. It’s in a perfect location in Sewanee - walkable to any university building and to downtown restaurants and shops.

Emily and Blake were fantastic hosts! Their cabins by the river's edge are fantastic; clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Communication was smooth and friendly, they also provided great local recommendations, and even a helping hand for all your fishing needs. Since we couldn't get around the fishing part due to weather and time constraints, we are certainly hoping we'll be able to come back in the future to these superb, cozy cabins by the Elk. Highly recommend!

Very nice stay at Kelly’s place. Great place to wind down but only 10-15 mins from restaurants and grocery stores. We had a great stay !
